I was in town for work and looking to get a manicure on my spare time. I hit Google Maps and searched«nails,» which actually led me to another place with rude staff, a long wait, and less than savory conditions. I went to a second place that didn’t exist anymore, and finally stopped at Escape. I was sat right down and helped by an extremely nice woman. They had all new leather chairs at the stations, and the place was impeccable. I also did not get the feeling that she was talking about me behind my back to her coworker when they spoke in their Asian language. Also, the last five times I’ve gotten my nails done, I’ve had the cuticle skin ripped from my nails. She was really gentle. I noticed the other commenter said her nails chipped within a day. That was not the case with me. Going on 2 days now and still looks great. Anywhere I’ve gotten a manicure(depending on how hard I am on my nails) I haven’t had it last longer than a week, and they use the same OPI polish as everyone else. I was so pleased with the service, I went back for a pedicure the next day, and the poor guy who did it managed my long buried winter feet without complaint(although there was much pumicing.) I’m definitely going back next time I’m in town.

I got a regular manicure and pedicure before my vacation and by the second day my fingers and toes were all chipped. Several nails peeled off in one piece which tells me it was their polish. I was very disappointed so I called and they said if I want it to last longer than a few days I need to get the gel nails. I disagree because I’ve gone to several other places before and they all have lasted longer than a couple days! It was about $ 40 for mani pedi and my nails looked awful by day 2 of my trip. NEVERAGAIN.
