Ferrell is the man. Took a full beard down to a goatee and finished it off with a flat razor shave. Made sure I was relaxed and happy with the work. Explained each step. Little head and shoulder massage. Rejuvenated.

Had a half hour wait after my appointment was due for a beard trim. Guy was nice but his trimmers ate my skin! Several missed hairs. and cut my cheek with a straight razor. Won’t happen again. Everyone else seemed happy but I was the only one getting a beard done.

I have an Undercut haircut. It’s not a complicated cut, but like anyone with shaved heads can tell you; the shorter the hair, the more obvious it is when there are any uneven parts or stragglers. I’m here for a month, so I researched for the best barbers in Indianapolis/​Fishers, and this one was often in the top reviewed. I called to see if any one barber was comfortable with undercuts (you can pick who cuts your hair when you schedule an appointment online: Nice) and was quickly (almost dismissively) assured that they all knew how to do it.
I arrived a few minutes early and was glad to see pomade and higher end grooming products for sale. The shop is clean, and I found my barber still working on the prior customer. I got seen about 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled, which is fine. The barber seemed to be taking lots of care to get the person’s hair cut right, and I took it as the cost of being taken care of by a meticulous barber.
When I sat down in the barber chair, he noticed I was growing my hair out on top (2points for observation). I said I have an undercut, which was met by confusion. He didn’t know what an undercut was. (–3 points for the lady on the phone). I figured it’d be ok, as he seemed to be careful, and it’s easy to explain what I want (zero on the sides… don’t touch the long hair, there’s a defined line where my hair goes long).
I am sorry to say that my impressions were incorrect. Normally, a good barber (like my regular) takes a comb to the line and separates my short hair from the long, and goes over the shaved sides over and again to ensure uniform length. He almost never went over any one area of my shaved sides, didn’t use a comb at all, and left my sideburns uneven. Once in my car, I took a loser look and found he left a bunch of stragglers by my part, my sides were not uniformly buzzed, and he even accidentally cut some of my longer hair. I ended up buying a pair of scissors and a comb to take care of the stragglers and chopped hair myself, as they are super noticeable when I comb my hair.
I keep telling myself I won’t get my haircut by anyone else again whenever this happens… guess I need a reminder from time to time. I could’ve gotten the same quality from a Sports Clips or other chain salon. I avoid those places like the plague.

No longer a supporter. While when the appointment can be kept, the service is very good. HOWEVER, several times when I have made an appointment, and it is confirmed, I get there only to find my appointment has been moved or changed to another person. I set up for specific people as I like and trust their work.
Just now I had to cancel my scheduled appointment as the barber has decided to call off for tomorrow.

Took my son here for his first haircut. He is a toddler. We didn’t have an appointment but will probably make one next time. it was pretty busy. Luckily there was a barber open. Curtis was very nice and accommodating. My son was pretty scared in the beginning and was crying but Curtis was very patient. He even went out of his way to bring my son a toy and a book to make him feel better. after that my son was fine. Curtis did a wonderful job on his hair and was so patient. We will definitely be back. Thanks Curtis!

Price is fair, service is great, best shave in all of Indy! I recommend Anthony. Clean shop worth the wait and easy to find.
