We ordered a pizza online using the website and there were a variety of options for pickup. We picked 8pm because it was around when we wanted to get the pizza… We showed up at literally 8:05 and the doors were locked and lights turned off. Really? No phone call to say we’re closing? Nothing? We PAIDINFULL for a pizza online and you just leave? Forget this place!!! We just moved from our downtown home to suburbia and were looking forward to places like this. We literally live a few blocks away. Well, you won’t see a dime of our business now … In fact, I’m going to make sure all my new neighbors know about your business tactics and lack of acumen. I just attended my first HOA meeting and they like to know about things like this… Thanks for ruining dinner, Papa Murphys!!! Looks like we’ll have to call the other Papa tonight.

Not only has the price for an uncooked pizza gotten too high, this location will not accept the online specials AND make you feel like a criminal for trying. I get the emails from Papa Murphy’s, and they will not honor the deals, plus the lady working there(I think it’s the owner) was really rude about it. When they first introduced the $ 5 Fave pizza(through national tv ads) she tried to tell me they didn’t have it, then told me not to order it because unlike the $ 15 pizza it didn’t have«topping cheese.» There are tons of pizza places around here, so go to Marco’s or Hot Box or Pizza Hut where they are already cooked and the people who work there are pleasant!

I enjoy a take and bake from PM but the one thing I have started to notice is price creep. Not sure exactly when it started but a large speciality is now in the $ 11 – 13 range. Sorry but the quality isn’t that much above the rest where you can justify selling an uncooked pizza at that rate. For the same cost I would rather hit up Papa John’s and dig in immediately. Pick your spots and look for coupons/sales.

I don’t see the hype with any Papa Murphy’s stuff. The pizza just isn’t that good to me. I would rather have a frozen pizza from Kroger than this. From the dough, to the sauce, to the ingredients — they are honestly gross. And this location doesn’t have the best customer service either. So, while I hate to do it — 1 star.

Pizze are good, not Italian pizza, but pretty good. I can only give this place 2 stars because customer service is not their strongest selling point. I usually see 2 ladies there who have never, ever gave me a glimpse of a smile. Also the way they are commanding those poor high school kids doesn’t convince me about their leadership skills. Anyhow, what really made me almost throw up last time, was watching one of the ladies preparing a pizza(not mine) and sticking her finger in her ear to scratch it and going right back to prepping the pizza. Yum! They aren’t only unfriendly and treat the kids who work there like slaves, they are also not very hygienic.

Terrible customer service. Not even a hello when I walked in the door. I was also told that they(the owners) were irritated that it was busy. It was a Friday night, what did they expect? I asked to add on to my order and I was told that I needed to stand in line again. Will happily drive to the Allisonville store.

I don’t think you can beat this pizza. The only thing they could do better is cook it for you and bring it to your home… but I suppose that would defeat the purpose, wouldn’t it?! The take and bake concept is great for those that want a fresh hot pizza, but don’t want to hassle with tipping, want fresh ingredients, and want the hot out of the oven taste. For a family of four a family size pizza usually works well(the kids are 6 and 10) and Papa’s is more than happy to change up ingredients for you. If you’re craving something sweet they also offer take and bake chocolate chip cookies. Mmmm… fresh out of the oven chocolate gooiness without having to gather and measure the ingredients. For those wanting a healthier touch they also offer salads which are quite good. Recently they started offering smaller pizzas for children so they could make their own. I haven’t tried them yet, but it’s a good way to satisfy the whole family, especially if you have some little picky eaters. From the time you place your order to pick up is generally 10 – 15 minutes.

When it’s the weekend and I don’t feel like cooking, I tend to go pick up a pizza at Papa Murphy’s. Yes, I know I still have to turn on my oven and put forth a little effort but I love how fresh their pizzas are verses all the other pizza places in town. I tend to frequent the location on Olio and it’s so bad that the women working there know my boyfriend and I when we come in. My favorite is the Thai Chicken De-lite which you can only get when they are running it on special where my boyfriend tends to love the Cowboy. Regardless of what we settle on, it’s always fresh and it always tastes great and if you watch your Sunday paper, I always seem to find coupons at least once a month.
