I know it’s Christmas but DANG the women’s bathroom was disgusting! Even my 3 year old daughter said «eeeek that’s gross!» There was blood on the floor, toilet paper on the floor, full trash cans, and some sort of chunks in one of the sinks. I attempted to tell the cashier who was working with another customer, but I’m not sure if he heard me. Yuck yuck yuck! If you’re looking for a pit stop, this is not the place!

Good location with a Taco Bell. We didn’t eat at the Taco Bell, but just grabbed a couple of snacks and energy drinks for our drive down.
The mini mart has a great selection of snacks and they have a large aisle of locally grown nuts and dried fruits. I was going to give them a high rating, just for supporting locally owned businesses, but the high gas prices and disgusting bathroom knocked them down a couple of stars.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Stopped by and wanted to put $ 30.00 of gas and only had a hundred dollar bill. Although the pumps were all occupied and it wasn’t early in the morning, the cashier said he didn’t have enough change for the $ 100.00. I can’t believe he didn’t have $ 70.00 in change with all the cars that go through there…

This is perhaps the worst gas station I have stopped at on interstate five in the central valley in my life. I thought, when I saw a Taco Bell attached (my favorite fast food), that it would be a place that held up to my expectations of a chain like Mobil. What seems apparent here however it is that the owners are milking out the maximum number of dollars with absolutely no investment in upkeep. For instance, of the roughly dozen towel dispensers for checking oil and wiping windshields, I found ONE that wasn’t broken, jammed, or empty. The restrooms were filthy and had clearly not been serviced. No towels available to use to touch the filthy door handle on the way out after I had washed my hands. The gas pump itself had a «yes «and «no «written in sharpie to indicate which buttons to push. And the gasoline price was higher then the clean looking Shell next-​door. Why did I go here? Taco Bell. Did I get food there? No way. AVOID.

***This is a decent and not too expensive (at least for the area) gas station on the 5 freeway from Los Angeles to San Francisco; this Mobil station is easy getting in and out of and even offers a Unilocal check-​in deal for when you purchase one of their packages of nuts (a wide variety offered here)***
This gas station has its own free parking lot with several spaces if you just need to pick up a snack or drink.

I used the bathroom here while traveling.
During the recent Ebola news from Africa I had thought the people who bought Ebola suits were lunatics.
After I entered the restroom I wished I had one.

My wife and I stopped at the Mobile Mart on our way to LA when our battery died. Rafael who was working the cash register, allowed us to personally use his car to jump-​start ours. He went above and beyond the call and did so with a smile and an attitude that expressed a sincere willingness to help. He was a lifesaver!

A late night pit stop for gas, restrooms and snacks on the lonely empty stretch of cow town I-​5. I didn’t have any issues with the women’s restroom. Not the best, not the worst. I liked that they had huge amount of locally grown pistachios and almonds in every flavor imaginable. Garlic pistachios. yum.
A decent stop and back on the road again into the black night.

My boyfriend and I were headed home and noticed our engine light was on, we stopped at the Mobil Mart and noticed we had an issue with the coolant!!! We got so lucky to come across Rafael whom works at Mobil Mart he helped us SOOOOO much and came up with a brilliant idea to get us back on the road!!! Were still here waiting a hoping the idea would work but it is so much nicer to wait at a place you know people are willing to help you!!! THANK YOU RAFEL

I know it’s probably expensive to fix. And I know it’s a chore, and a headache. But when the Traveling Cretins have scratched their initials into every square inch of of your pump, and you can no longer read what it says, maybe it’s time to do a little maintenance so people can read what it’s saying.

One of the most disgusting women’s restrooms I have ever been in. Feces on the toilet seat, no soap in any of the three dispenses, trash on the floor, just awful. The worst part is, I know the employees who handle food use this restroom. If I figure out what county this is I’m reporting them to the health department.

Hundred of miles away from home. Stopped to get gas. Clean and well lot. Seems like a safe place to get gas.

It smells like pee and doesn’t have a slurpee machine.
But it’s connected to the Taco Bell and when they ring you up it makes the Mario coin sound. What’s that about? Not sure but its awesome.

$ 4.20 for #87. Cheapest in the area.

Big gas station, stopped by while driving to San Fransisco.
Pricing was pretty decent. Had no complaints. Filled up here before my final run. There is also a market in the area and I think a fast food joint or two. There are a lot of pumps at this station.
Inside was a little grimy and expected to be, especially the bathrooms.

One of the cheaper gas stations I’ve seen along I-​5. I usually stop at the TA in Buttonwillow to fill up, but I noticed that regular gas at TA was $ 3.95 on Thanksgiving Day. Meanwhile, the Panoche Mobil had regular for $ 3.86, cheaper than both of its neighbors, Shell and Chevron.
Other perks of this place:
* Has squeegees for your car, but the water has no soap
* The gas pump prints your receipt without bugging you about getting a carwash
* Large and moderately clean restroom (by gas station standards)
* Convenience store has a variety of boxed nuts (woah, healthy stuff at a convenience store??)
* The convenience store shares a roof with a Taco Bell
Save some green and fill up here on your trip between NorCal and SoCal!

LOL! The place was ONE CENT cheaper than the shell next door and this place was PACKED!!!

I left SFX around 10 pm on a Sunday evening headed South to Bakersfield, feeling the pressure to get home and get in a little sleep before having to be up at 6 am for work. Five minutes after leaving Gilroy to head into the Pacheco Pass, I was also beginning to feel another kind of pressure, that of a moderately full bladder that was going to become an issue long before I made it home.
You’d be surprised at how few places there are that are open for business at that time of night, and being a single female traveling alone I expected a certain level of well-​lit, semi-​clean safety. Things were looking grim for quite a distance. Casa De Fruita, the obvious choice, was closed. There were several exits which did not appear to be promising until AFTER I passed the off-​ramp (there is something to be said for prominently visible signage) There were exits with gas stations that looked poorly lit and not too high up on the hygiene scale. I took a couple of these exits and just did not feel desperate enough to chance it. And — yes — I was singing along with my ipod and just plain spaced out and missed a couple of golden opportunities.
By the time I hit the Panoche exit, I was — shall we say — becoming rather less choosy. There were 4 gas stations at this exit. The Shell appeared to be closed, and the other two were not well-​lit enough to make a single girl feel safe.
And then I saw it — a well-​lit Mobile station — shimmering like an oasis in a dark and grungy desert. The gas was a penny a gallon cheaper than the other two open stations, the restrooms were clean, and the variety of sugar free, low-​carb, and low calorie energy drinks was certain to get me home awake and in one piece. The prices on the energy drinks and beef jerky that I purchased to devour on my journey were not particularly overpriced!
Bonus — the clerk was friendly and spoke perfect English.
