You know the expression you get what you pay for? I find this isn’t always true especially when you shop at the Dollar Tree. This isn’t your one stop shop but there are certain items that we are throwing our hard earned cash on. This place is great for buying greeting cards, decorations for parties, balloons, drinking glasses, and candy that you may or may not take to a movie. Why spend 5 dollars on a friends birthday card when you can spend 50 cents. I’m sure your friend will appreciate the money you saved so that you could buy him or her that 12 pack or Pabst Blue Ribbon or box of wine. One day I was looking around the Goodwill next door and my wife saw a used glass heart shaped dish she liked, so I bought it for $ 3.50 cents. Then we went next door to the Dollar Tree and found the same heart shaped glass dish for ONEDOLLAR! arrrgh… I was a little peeved that I had been swindled but shrugged my shoulders and said, at least my $ 2.50 went to a good cause. There is value to be found by shopping here. Get your billions back America! Stop paying too much for the little things. Recently, there has been a strong odor of cat pee that hits you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. Not cool at all really. Ending on a more positive note, there are some great dog toys for a dollar.

This is a medium sized Dollar Tree store located right on the main highway that runs through Fillmore. The store is clean and well organized, with a good selection of products. Of course, it’s cheap too — the quality and the prices. You get what you pay for and I like to stop in here for a quick snack when I’m driving home from work. Also good for inexpensive party supplies and holiday decorations. I like this store.

Cheap stuff and a big store. With that being said, the lines are always long and the staff are not helpful. After waiting in a long line, the checker turned off his light and then moved our stuff to another line where we had to wait again. There was still a line and three workers just standing around.
