Went through drive thru, placed a pretty big order. 3 combos and two cheesecakes. Manager gave me 2 ranches and 3 packets of ketchup I asked him for more and he gave me ONE additional ranch. Even though I know that the ranches he was giving me were the cheaper versions of the good house dressing he will not hand out. Other employee forgot one of my drinks, I asked for it and manager was not pleased. Got home to see that they also forgot my cheesecakes. Being a fast food restaurant I don’t except 5 star quality, but I at least would like all my items I pay for and the manager to not be a tight ass with ranch and ketchup.

Burgers come out sloppy and not in the quality you would hope for at least from a decent fast food joint. General Manager has no customer service skills, he is rude and doesn’t realize that each customer counts and should be appreciated. It’s unfortunate that the franchise owner is operating a business with poor management and a cooking staff that serves like they are serving prisoners.

Went to the drive thru at 5:15am only to find out they don’t start serving breakfast until 6am. Seriously ??? What do most people eat in the morning?

I’ll give the flustered girl that couldn’t get my order straight a break, maybe she was new. The burger with too many condiments, fine. But the hair in my fries? Inexcusable.

This Carl’s Jr. is on the 126 highway in Fillmore, Ca. They’ve got a great big Neon sign that reminds me of the images of the heydays of the«Route 66» Restaurants.(For you Pixar fans, think Radiator Springs) I’ve wanted to eat here because they had that sign. I had my opportunity too over the weekend. I walked in, was greeted politely, and I ordered a small Jalapeño Turkey Burger combo. I was given a cup, and I fixed myself an iced coffee. I walked outside and sat down. It was a very nice day, and the view of the majestic mountains on the horizon made for a nice backdrop for my meal. My stomach grumbled, which caused me to look back inside and saw my turkey burger and fries wandering around on a tray looking for me. I flagged the lady carrying it down, and handed her my table-number in exchange for my lunch. I brought the tray back to my outside seat and opened it up to admire it.(And take the Unilocal photo) The turkey patty was grilled well, and the fries were as tasty as any other Carl’s Jr. I’ve been too. As I ate I watched the cars whiz by on the 126 freeway. I wondered where they were headed. If they were locals just driving around as they always do, or if they were like me; wanderers driving and admiring the scenery. After I finished my burger, I threw away the trash, and went inside to wash my hands. As I returned to my car, I kinda hoped it was nighttime and I could see their neon sign all lit up. But I suppose that will have to be another adventure sometime in the future. As always, good job Carl’s Jr.

Let me start by saying I worked for Carl’s back when Carl Kartcher had an office in the back of the store I worked in, so I’m biased towards them and very familiar with their food and how the store SHOULD be run. I’ve eaten at this particular Carl’s many times and it is unquestionably the worst Carl’s Jr I have visited. So, if you’ve never been to one, skip this one and stop at another. It saddens me to write this review. I’ve contacted corporate several times about problems with no resolution. The tables are usually clean, but the counter staff is remarkably uninformed about the menu. The last time I visited they were unfamiliar with the Carl’s Jr phone app and refused to accept the coupon off my smart phone — even the manager said it was not valid. The food has usually been warm(not hot) and I usually have to take the fries or onion rings back to get fresh ones since they’re too old to be served. Several times they ignored my request for no onions on the burgers so check your food if you’re getting take out. Overall, a bad example of a Carl’s Jr.

I stopped by tonight driving back from work down the 126… They have apparently done away with the broken down playground equipment that was such a blight before… it is now a couple of tables outside the restaurant. I ordered the hand breaded chicken strips that were actually delicious. The waffle cut fries which failed to impress. The service was actually on the decent side… no complaints. I would be a 4 star place for me now that the playground is fixed but they still charge you extra for using an atm/debit card… get with the times guys. I guess if you want to come here just make sure you bring cash. :0)
