Fabulous! Had excellent cuisine with fine, international wine; complimented by quality service from the staff. There’s dessert too!!! Ambience, décor and flavor all in the same place, what more could you ask for? Did I mention there is dessert too?!

One of my favorite kitchens in #Ferguson! Love that they change the menu but keep a few favorites. There is always a theme thru the menu so you can count on the flavors. The popcorn is to die for, you can always count on the sliders, a tasty hash and soothing soup — even in the summer! The staff knows your name and what you drink… oh, maybe that is just because I am a regular!

Went to Cork for happy hour the other night. Sat outside. The weather was great. As was the wine. Food was good. Service was good. One of my favorite places in Ferguson.

For drinks, absolutely! The Pear Martini is where it’s at! Their food menu is very eclectic, so if you are not an «outside the box» eater, have something before you go. This rating is strictly based on the libations.

Been here once before about a year ago. Was commenting to my husband that the fondue was really good. So we decided would be a fun relaxing night to drink wine and watch the Blues. The place was ¾ full, mostly just high-tops empty. A tall blonde sat us at one of the remaining tables. And then we sat, and sat and sat and we sat so long we decided we didn’t want to sit anymore. We got to see the blonde girl discuss all the deserts with the older couple to our left, sounds really good maybe after they order desert she will ask us if we would like to order too! Nope. She checked on them once more and the the girls-night-out table to our immediate right was also checked on. Surprise surprise the high-top table that was sat several minutes after us is now getting service too. What is going on?!? Some more time passes and the blonde girl comes back and it’s not an apology for ignoring a table literally inches from the other three tables but an excuse. Apparently she is the waitress for the. Entire wine bar, but we are an island. We belong to some unknown waiter«who is a little backed up but I can.» I stopped her right there and said«no I think we will just leave.» Ferguson you have had hard times and I work and live near you and I want to support you, but you have to take the damn order if you want my money. Please take my money! Lol. We were going to order beer, wine flights, fondue and maybe deserts. Sure it would only have been a $ 40 – 50 dollar check but maybe it would have become our thing. Maybe we would have brought our friends and family and swore they must try the blah blah blah. Well maybe if blondie gets fired we will come back. I will see you again in 2016 and hope you have better staff. That is if you make it in an economy where you need to take the customers order to make money– oh wait that’s all economies.

First of all. I am so glad there are wine bars. Secondly. Get to this place asap. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who greeted everyone with such potion energy you just wanted to stay and chat with her. We were seated and got an amazing server, Katie. I hesitate to call her a server as by the end of our visit we seemed like friends. She was helpful and her suggestions were spot on. The wine was freshly served with ample portions and information on each flight, if you chose to go that way). Spot on! The food. Amazing. They have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and regular choices. There is something here for everyone! The sunflower flatbread pizza… my heavens. Amazing! Bring your friends. Friday and Saturday nights they have live music. Well worth the 15 minute drive from downtown stl. Prost!

It’s hard to say much about the place. My wife and I stopped in on a Wednesday night when we were in the area. The décor was nice and overall appearance was clean. The place wasn’t too busy so we decided to sit at the bar. There were three guys already sitting at the bar conversing with the male bartender. After several moments he finally paid attention and came over to us. He provided menus and went back to his conversation. The place has a lot of options for wine. He could see we were looking over the menu and never came over to sell the place or explain the menu. After we set the menus down a little while later he came over, took our order, and served us the wine flight my wife ordered. After he served us the wine he never returned and continued talking to what I would assume was his buddies until I asked for the bill. I’d like to give this place more stars however my experience with the bartender was less then what I would expect from this type of establishment. I am a believer that your staff can help you make or break a place. I hope this is just a fluke experience and not the routine.

great wine flights and amazing salads and fish tacos, the place is small but very quaint. The quinoa salad was just amazing and the fondue is enough to share ! I tried the International Red flight and my friend tried the chardonnay flight. They were both delicious.

My daughter and myself were invited by a friend to visit this wine bar called«CORK» I loved the name and have never been to a wine bar so I thought we would check it out. First off the wine menu is double the size of the food menu(how fun) and it’s made of… that’s right… cork! I was sad that my only choice of Moscato was a dessert wine and only 3 oz, so I moved on to a sweet Reisling which was not too bad. Service was good and the added bottle of water and cups was a nice touch. I did not eat, we had just left Ranoush and we were stuffed.(see an earlier review) But the atmosphere of The Cork was fun, they had live music playing and the bar was very active. Even as loud as it was at times you could still hold a decent conversation. I suggest you give it a try, it’s really a very nice place and if you are with the right company, like I was you’ll be very happy you shopped by!

This place is really great. I’d seen it a few times in passing and always wondered what the food was like, and just the place as a whole in general. Just to give you an idea of the mood prior to going to Cork last night: It was pouring down rain, it had been a long and stressful week at work, and two people I’d known had just passed away, one of which was a tragic and unexpected accident that very morning. Sean was feeling as depressed as me, since said person happened to be a good friend and co-worker of his. Overall, a pretty depressing mood we were in. Since we had no food in the house, we decided to venture out. Stopping by the bakery next door warmed our souls(especially the smell), and then we headed over to Cork. They told us we could sit anywhere so we sat near the TV so Sean could watch the game. At least one TV in here to watch the game on = big time score for him. It wasn’t very crowded at all for a Friday night due to the weather. Our waitress(Fran, I think?) was super nice and friendly. She was really prompt, answered all of our questions, and was able to give a wine flight recommendation based on what I told her I like. She even brought out more mint chutney sauce for the lamb chops when I asked if I could have more(that stuff was so amazing.) A delicious wine flight, lamb chops, and eventually, live music warmed my soul. I don’t usually give 5 stars to a place I’ve only been to once unless it is really awesome, but I had a good time here last night. There were a few things that could be improved upon but they were fairly minor(tables were a little sticky and my wine glasses kept getting stuck, etc.) but really nothing that would ruin the experience for me. Also the music they were playing before the band showed up was another rare occurrence of songs that both of us enjoy equally. The band consisted of two dudes with their guitars, which I liked. Price-wise, I think Cork is pretty fair, The lamb was $ 15 and I got two small/medium sized chops plus a huuuuge scoop of delicious quinoa and tasty mint chutney sauce. That plus the three different wines in my flight was more than enough to satiate me. The flight was around $ 10, if memory serves me. Really not a bad amount, in total, for good-quality food. I definitely want to come back here and try the scallops sometime soon… those sound good, as did the pear and prosciutto pizza. Thank you, Cork, for making a really crappy night/week in general a bit better. :)

This place is just delightful. I came here with my parents last Saturday for a light dinner and drinks. Our main waitress was very attentive and polite. We also had a few other staff members come by to check on us throughout the night — which almost bordered on being annoying, but was ultimately quite useful when I needed to order another drink! The place filled up quick but service never wavered. Live music(a guitar player) was about to start at 9pm right as we left. We ate: –Fondue. Warm and filling, wonderful mellow flavor that paired well with white wine. –Crab Cakes. Wasn’t as impressed here. They were a little thin for my taste, though you do get 3 of them. The orange salsa and peppers helped. –Fried Shrimp. I’m allergic but I cheated and had one bite. It was delicious! –White Pizza. This thing was fabulous. It was loaded with cheese, chicken and tomatoes. Definitely not a wimpy pizza. I drank a pear martini that was absolutely to die for. Perfect mix of sugar, citrus and alcohol. I also had a melon spritzer that was very refreshing. It would be perfect to order at the end of a hot summer day or night. Oddly enough, I can’t find either of these drinks listed on their website menu. They must have updated the menu but not the site. So be sure to look through the whole liquor book when you go! The martini’s and non-wine drinks were near the back, if I recall correctly. Bottom line: Definitely coming back here, hopefully soon!

Cute name for such a great spot! Since my friend and I live so far apart we usually try to meet up at Cork since this is kind of in the«middle». Whenever we visit Cork it tends to be in the middle of the week and so it’s not ever too busy. We are usually able to find a seat without any problem. This last visit we arrived around 730 on a Thursday night and I think there were a total of 5 people in the place enjoying their wine. We sat down and began reviewing the menu. She and I usually opt for the red selection and I think we area always satisfied with our choices. As Sandy M. has stated; the place is cozy and they do have a variety of wine to choose from. If you get confused on what to order just ask the bartender, he or she will ask you about your preferences and then I am sure a nice glass of wine will be delivered your way! Service has been great and the prices is just right for a glass of wine. I’ll be sure to go back for another visit next time I need a girls night!

We had an hour or so to kill on the way to the airport, so we stopped in at Cork for a glass of wine. It’s definitely got a kind of neighborhoody feel, with the work of local artists on the wall. I haven’t been to Ferguson much, but this place is no doubt one of the nices spots in the area. It would fit in well in Creve Coeur or Chesterfield, I think. There was live music as well. Not the greatest singer, but she was cute, which counts for something. Of course I didn’t notice this, since I’m married. The wine selection is pretty good, although I’m no expert. Pricing is very reasonable, with lots of options under $ 10. I had a «fruit-forward» flight, which was three nice pours for only $ 10. We also had a «snack» of crostini with some marinara and goat cheese. It was a pretty significant snack for only $ 5. Inexpensive places make me happy, as does wine, original art, convenient parking and good service. Cork has all of these, so I have to give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, they’re not in our neighborhood, otherwise we’d be regular winos.

I think this place was summed up pretty nicely with a «When we invite the boys, we’ll go over to Ferguson Brewery. when it’s girl’s night out, we’ll come here» Love the cozy feel of the place, the variety of wine and cocktails(and some token beers, including a nice alcoholic peach cider!!). Stuck with appetizers but they were all pretty tasty. Had an Italian sausage pizza, the goat cheese pizza and cheese fondue. The fondue wasn’t what I was expecting, it was more of a cheese sauce than a fondue, but it was still tasty. Interesting choice of sides with new potatoes but I’m a fan. The waitress was super attentive, even when we lingered over drinks. The bill wasn’t bad but it would definitely be better to go back for happy hour pricing and save a few bucks. Excellent parking availability behind the building, I was happy to see that too!

As of today, Cork has become a favorite Friday/Saturday spot for us. Whether we are stopping in for after-dinner drinks, to listen to live music, or to have appetizers and drinks, Cork is our spot! I have even tried different drinks and they all have been good. My boyfriend loves his dirty martini’s with the stuffed cream cheese olives. The staff has gotten good at knowing what we are ordering, LOL, so you know we frequent here often. And the owner, Mike, is a cool and down-to-earth guy. They also have different events such as a fashion show I attended here and they even offered a St. Valentines dinner for that day. Awesome! I still say if you want a quaint little place to meet up, listen to music, look at sports, or try different wines and meet friendly people, Cork is the place you can go to for that. I am glad it is located in Ferguson because I do enjoying patronizing my neighborhood businesses and this one is definitely worth it!

My husband and I are both from St. Louis, but on the opposite end as Ferguson, so when we ended up in the area and needed a place to burn a few hours on a Sunday evening, God Bless Cork Wine Bar for delivering exactly what we needed. This is an adorable little wine bar. Even though we now live in STL city, as we left Cork we joked that we would be making trips to Ferguson just to visit our new little spot. The staff could not have been more friendly and genuine. The food was great– had the MATCH meat crab cakes(YES! They have MATCH!) and the cheese plate. This is not your ordinary cheese plate, people. I’ve never met one I couldn’t handle, but we brought home a bunch left over– it’s enough for four people, plus, to share. Prices are very much in line, and in some cases generous(as with the cheese). I enjoyed the International wine flight while my husband sipped on a few IPAs. We were both very happy with the beer and wine selection. All I can say is that the other wine bars should worry if Cork comes closer to the city… until then, I’ll be making trips to Ferguson.

Cool little wine spot in North County! I can’t even remember the last time I’ve been out to this area, but a friend of mine suggested Cork for some after work drinks and I gladly obliged. In an area where not much is happenin’ but the fast food joints & the Aldi’s down the street, this place is a diamond in the rough! Stop in for a good glass(or bottle, if you’re me) of wine and their fantastic cheese plate… they have over 25 wines by the glass! I was so surprised to see their wide variety of dinner offerings, too… everything looked so good but unfortunately I wasn’t hungry enough to eat anything else. But they have pastas, brisket, pizzas, chicken, sliders… all kind of seriously good-looking menu items. Impressive for a tiny wine bar. They occasionally have live music & they sell a bunch of local art. This place is cool! Which it was closer to the city, but North Co. could probably use a place like Cork. Good work!

I wanted to like this place more than I did. I came here before a ballet and immediately upon entering there was some sort of sign we were outsiders and not regulars and there was no need to expect us to return again. With a ballet season pass we would have but after getting the cold shoulder I’m just not so sure. The food was good(though my crabcakes could have been crabbier), I liked my wine a lot, the décor was cute… so what was missing? It had to be the service. You’d see a waitress go to a table and chat them up for 5 minutes while getting their order but our order had to wait even though we arrived first. When we were finishing up our meal and had clearly indicated we were done, the waitress didn’t clear the plates from the tiny high top table and instead tried to offer us more drinks, twice. We had to ask her the second time to just take the plates and bring us a check. It may have just been an off-night and I’ll probably give it another chance if I’m in the neighborhood. I think next time I’ll bring a group because as a date spot I just wasn’t feeling it even though it should have been perfect.
