This is my second visit and the food is great we love the tofu bun and the tofu phở and the tofu spring rolls. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because both this time and last time it takes forever for the drinks. They come out well after the meal. We ordered the young coconut drink and a thai tea with boba. So speciality drinks but I just don’t understand why they take so long. Other then that it a quiet kind of little restaurant.

We been here twice now. I’m extremely sensitive to msg, and haven’t had a reaction either times going here. Excellent phở here, you can tell their broth is very rich. Also they make very good Vietnamese sandwiches(we had chicken sandwiches both times), received excellent friendly service from different servers both times visited. Huge servings, larger than other places, prices are comparable to most phở places, but considering the extra amount they give you it makes this place a great deal. they also provide you ample amounts of bean sprouts and basil. These guys are better than 2nepho, and a lot better than $ 2 theater phở. We live in FW, and this place is easily both the best quality and value phở place in this area. miscellaneous details: lots of parking, spacious table and seating, clean dining area, clean bathrooms, fast service, TVs were on sports both times we went. My wife prefers the beef broth with her vegetable phở over the standard vegetable broth. Man, now i want some phở.

Let’s just say… FINALLY!!! Being vegetarian it is soooo hard trying to find a close place in the area that has veggie broth. Many locations have tofu phở but with beef broth doesn’t make sense to me but okay lol anyways back to this place. We came in a few nights ago and the server was super attentive. The vegetarian phở was yummy! Will definitely be coming back. I totally recommend!

The owners know my boyfriend and I so well because we go at least every other week. I despise cilantro and every other phở restaurant I go to always puts it in even when I ask them not to, but this place hasn’t failed by yet. Their meat is never burnt and just overall the food is delicious and their service is welcoming. Only phở restaurant I go to.

Authentic, delicious and better than Th rest. I consider myself an expert and this place is hands down the best phở spot in federal way. Don’t wast your time anywhere else.

Very authenticity Vietnamese food! Best Phở so far in WA and very authentic Bun bo hue! Run by Vietnamese and most of the customers are Vietnamese. I love phở! So wherever we move to or visit, my first mission is to find good phở! We’ve searched from Seattle to Tacoma. This is the BEST so far!

Great Phở and huge portions! My husband and I came here and I got the number 19 and he had the number 7 both larges. The bowls were huge, I’ve never had so much phở in my life. Everything tasted delicious. I also had the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce and they were delicious too. I’m really picky about peanut sauce and this wasn’t your average peanut sauce it had a different flavor but it was really good and I will definitely be coming back here again. The restaurant was very clean(even the bathrooms) and the service was great.

In the past I have liked the phở when I’ve dined in, but twice now I have ordered phở with no cilantro and gotten home and found cilantro in my phở. The first time I was annoyed but my boyfriend was nice enough to pick all the cilantro out of the onions, because I LOVE onions. Without onions the broth is lacking some flavor. Today I went in and ordered to go and no cilantro and the server even repeated it back to me, and get home and find cilantro again! And overall the ingredients today didn’t appear to be the best quality, my lime was more yellow than green and the bean sprouts were a little brown. I don’t think I’ll being going back.

Food: Phở dac biet — A northern Vietnamese style broth that’s over spiced and either hasn’t been stewed long enough or didn’t have enough material to make a properly rich phở broth. The noodles were overcooked so lacked bite. The meats had that refrigerator taste that indicates the meat was too old or wasn’t stored properly in the refrigerator. Overall, disappointment. Service: Our waiter was attentive and readily available when needed; couldn’t ask for more. Value: The amount of food you get for the price exceeds many of their competitors, I only wish it were good enough for a return. Decent value, but maybe you get what you pay for?

Check out their bun bo hue. Must be the best one in town! You wont be able to find any other places that have the taste of vietnam like this. Their BBQ pork banh mi is really good too. New Vietnamese restaurant for my craving from now on.

I’ve been here three times and each time my vegetarian phở has been delicious! A previous review said they found meat in theirs, however, I’ve always checked my phở before eating. Never once found anything meatlike! I do tend to use more salt and sriracha sauce before eating than my previous go-to phở restaurant. Highly recommend getting the taro shake! It’s heavenly. My girlfriend also seems to be addicted to a pork dish from here. Very friendly staff and clean environment.

I remembered that this shop used to be the old Than Brother restaurant. I went here a few weeks ago and had order number 1 phở. It’s pretty nice that the restaurant has other different meals if you don’t prefer to eat phở. Clean and friendly overall.

I really wanted to like this place. Maybe the regular phở is good, but the vegetarian phở is flavorless and didn’t contain enough veggies. Plus, it had(I promise) a piece of meat in it. I requested vegetarian broth as well, so where that meat came from I have no idea. I’m not vegetarian so didn’t return the phở, but based on my first experience here I’m not inclined at all to return.

Very clean place with good service. The food was very tasty. I got the phở with everything and my wife got the special rice dish. It was all delicious and flavorful. Even the spring rolls were good. I will be back

Love this Phở place! They make the yummiest phở! I come here for lunch very often, and right as soon as I walk in they take me, seat me, and get me taken care of. They prepare it really fast, so I don’t have to worry about waiting and not getting to eat normally cause my lunch time would be over… Thank you for the yummiest phở!!!

Yum yum yum ! I love phở ! But the problem is trying to find a place that doesn’t use MSG. This place I don’t believe uses MSG. I have now had it 2 x’s and have had no reaction. The broth tastes like its homemade and made with love. It is very clean and tidy. Not over decorated or cluttered. I like that they give you sliced onion with your phở. Not every place does that. They package it very nicely for takeout and make sure it doesn’t leak. This is my new place to eat phở. I will be back many times. And forget about the phở place across the street it nothing but MSG ! (Phở Tai is nasty place across the street)

I don’t know what another Unilocaler was complaining about when he said his vermicelli was served with fish sauce. That IS how you eat vermicelli noodles. I personally thought this restaurant was great. They did just open up so i would cut them a little slack but food was decent, the people are nice, and the restaurant is very open and inviting. Very clean for a phở restaurant as there aren’t many that aren’t top notch. Give this place a go! I didn’t order their banh mi’s but they looked and smelled very good when the table next to me ordered it! :-)

It was my first time at Phở Quynh, and I wanted to experience quality Vietnamese cuisine. Turns out I was lucky! I ordered the rice with baby ribs and it turned out delicous. The meat was well seasoned and cooked, and the plating was very nice. My sisters chose the kid meal, which was a very convenient option which they enjoyed with a soda. The food came out quickly too, which is fantastic. They have a large TV for you to watch while eating. Also, the menu had a lot of type of foods which I thought was very great, varying from vermicelli to banh mi. The overall aesthetic was nice too. If you are ever in Federal Way and want a good, delicious taste of Vietnam, make sure you go to Phở Quynh! You won’t regret it! I look forward to coming back.

This restaurant is located where Than Brothers used to be. The restaurant looked cleaned up with new tables and chairs and some fixtures. The whole family was there, children in the corner. There is a TV, plenty of seating. I do like that they are open seven days a week, hopefully they keep that schedule. The sign outside said 9:30AM to 9:30PM. The menu is fairly typical: phò options, vermicelli bowl’s, appetizers(fresh rolls!) rice dishes and bubble tea. We ordered the A-1 fresh rolls. They were pretty par, I’d say the bean sauce was slightly above average but I wouldn’t come here specifically for them. Then we both had the vermicelli bowls. The chicken was good, standard, not my favorite by any means. Just ok. The prawn bowl was disappointing, while I didn’t expect to see many prawns on the bowl I thought 3 tiny ones was pretty lame. Especially since I ended up having to share my chicken!!! I’m no marine biologist but I thought prawns were supposed to be bigger than shrimp. These looked the same size as the frozen shrimp I buy at the grocery. We ordered 2BBQ chicken sandwiches to go for lunch the next day.(I’m a huge Vietnamese sandwich fan so the expectation was a little high) I was pleased to see a fair amount of chicken on the sandwich. They were very plain tasting. I mean they had all the toppings, but I think I’ve just had some more flavorful ones before. Over all I have to say this place may unfortunately struggle do to their proximity to several other phở and Vietnamese restaurants(good ones at that) while I don’t think their food is bad, it’s just missing that«umph» that the competition has. Just a little boring in the flavor department. Sorry, I’d recommend somewhere else.(Although I will stop back in to try the Phò. You never know it might just be their secret specialty!)
