Horrible everything. Hardly any good food choices. Everything from dishes to tables to the bathrooms everything was dirty. The chicken was dry my husband said and the salad was pathetic. We have learned our lesson and won’t be trying old country buffet again(we’ve been wanting to go for years). Also the place smelled like urine. Ew.

This place is so gross. The whole restaurant smells like urine. The food seems like its always reheated and the carpet is always covered in crumbs.

I’ve been going here the past 10 years on and off only on special particular days with the family. I have to say everyone has been nice and as clean as it can get. The food is not the best, but the worse everything is there and always cooked good and always plenty when out. There are some foods needed more taste of spices but it was ok. They have added new food items on the rack but wish they can change it time to time. I would have to say breakfast is better than lunch and dinner! Go then it’s better and worse the $. Bathrooms need some LTLC! Avoid Sunday’s over crowded. Overall good.

Terrible. The food has been the same, incredibly bland slop since 1999, and this location is by far one of the worst. To top it off, the staff is incredibly unhelpful and they’ve jacked their prices up so high that it’s laughable. I somehow liked this place as a kid, blinded by the phrase«all you can eat», but going back as an adult I’ve learned that isn’t very much. Will not return.

I would have given this a 5, it was a great place to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner except for the price of the beverages at $ 2.49/person. They used to have really great coupons but after not getting them since November, they have raised the price from $ 4.99 for breakfast and we didn’t buy beverage just water which is free to $ 5.99 plus a purchase of a beverage. So if you go to eat without a coupon you are not forced to buy a drink. We used to go here a lot with friends but unless they change these coupons then we will not be returning.

Haven’t been to a old county buffet in a long time so I was super excited. HUGE disappointment everything was bland no flavor on anything. It was like going to a friends house and their Mom didn’t cook very well and for 17 $ a person with drink so nit worth it. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

What’s the point of serving Coffee without any Coffee Mugs/Cups? Ridiculous, food wasn’t even hot, my fork was dirty so I decided to get another one and the other utensils were still dirty. The place is dirty and the bathrooms need to be maintained. Last time I’ll be going there! Not worth $ 12+

I have really never like buffets because I don’t like the fact that people can touch your food … but i figured I would give it a try. the utensils had leftover food stuck on them the soup was extremely cold the fried food was extremely greasy and a soda was flat and last but not least the bathroom was filthy … Definitely NOT worth the 12 something dollars to get in … The only GOOD thing about the place was the lady at the front counter was really Friendly

The utensils were filthy with food stuck on them from previous customers, as you pull utensils from their baskets you suddenly find that you have created a pile of dirty silverware on the counter. The food was sloppy, and in some cases undercooked, the meatloaf was hard and had to use a knife to cut into it. The bathrooms are a horror seen with graffiti in the stall walls, wet paper towel balls stuck on the ceiling, and dirt all over the walls as if they have never been washed since the restaurant opened. The desert cake was stale or hard. Definitely a buffet for low income community’s who can’t afford good food.

My husband and I went to the Federal Way location for lunch today. I will never, ever go back. We paid extra for drinks, and got no drinks. We went and got our own, using the tiny glasses they had by the machines. No greetings from the staff, empty food servers, no plates, no utensils. Sullen staff didn’t want to help when asked for plates and utensils. No white meat options in the fried chicken, the food was okay(when it was there!), but no one seemed interested in replenishing it. Other customers were complaining and leaving. It was dreadful. There is absolutely no valid excuse for this.

The food is horrible. Everything was super salty. Fried food was super greasy. Utensils were dirty. This is the worst place we have eaten since I started Unilocaling. Never again

For a buffet, this was good. Not great, just good. The reason I felt compelled to write a review was that our server JOSE did an awesome job. He was courteous, smiled a lot, made eye contact with us and was very efficient. He did his job with care and obviously enjoyed it. They were very busy being Sunday night. He kept up with all his tables and still managed to make us feel welcome. The food was predictable, good selection and they had fresh sliced roast beef, ham and turkey. The restrooms were dirty.

The was not as bad as I expected from reading all the reviews. The food was interesting. Truthfully, the only foods I ate were the mac n cheese, gravy, a chicken wing(that was a little too salty), steak that was a little tough, and nachos + tacos at the awesome Mexican food station! It was amazing, and my dream station. I loved it and I enjoyed making my own nachos with the amount of jalapeños and corn I want! Overall, $ 12.99 was worth my money and I would definitely come here again if I was in the area. Not my first choice but always an option! Service was also great. The lady took all the plates away as soon as we were done. She was really efficient and nice!

Considering that I was really on a day that I didn’t have breakfast, this Old Country Buffet cured my hunger pains really quick. While it was surprising to see an Old Country Buffet location in the Seattle area(they are popular on the east coast), its also a bit sad to note also that this particular type of business model may be on the decline. It certainly showed. The lunch option was $ 12.99(expected). I don’t drink soda, so I didn’t purchase an additional drink option. There are a sufficient amount of choices, be it pizza, chicken, szechaun beef, etc. Macaroni seems to be quite popular at this location, in that I saw two versions of it, along with a fresh batch coming out every 30 minutes. From the plates that I experimented with, I didn’t have an issue with the food’s temperature, texture or presentation. Its standard buffet style food folks, not filet mignon at the Waldorf-Astoria. That in itself is worth remembering anytime you step into a buffet-type of venue. Customer service was fine, and without any drama. It was just okay. The entire décor of the venue looked a bit dark and without energy, considering that it was 11:30 am. It was eerily quiet. Not to be funny, but the experience reminded me of a funeral wake. While I quietly ate my 2 – 3 plates of food, I noticed that there were several other singles and couples that were doing the same thing: eating quietly, as if they were paying respects to the dead. The saving grace of this experience was when one of the managers that walked the interior went to several tables to engage other customers to see how things that were doing. Overall, this location isn’t bad. Its just a different type of vibe at this location that is hard to explain. Remember to leave flowers and a condolence card when you tip the busser.

Not much variety, ran out of food twice while i was there, take long to restock, and food was not very good… could be doing a lot better. Service was better than expected, Kevin did a great job.

Don’t waste your money…$ 12.99 for dinner + an extra $ 3 for a drink. Food was lukewarm at best. Peach cobbler was really good, but would have been better w/ice cream. Unfortunately, the ice cream machine was out of order. Hint to Restaurant Mgr: Discount to your customers would have been nice.

Food was bad. At $ 8.99 adult breakfast was not worth it. I sampled nearly everything. I found the waffles and bacon worthy. Tasteless food and overcooked

This is one of the dirtiest places I’ve been to. The window blinds were so filthy, I’m surprised nobody has mentioned it on here yet. The bathrooms are disgusting. There was a pile of vomit like substance on the floor on the way to the bathroom that stayed there the entire time. I don’t expect amazing food at a buffet like this, but I do expect a clean eating environment. And regarding the service — it lacked. Nobody came by to pick up plates until we were on our way out.

The days of the great buffets is a dying experience. Between the standard of «vegas style» buffets and the hip overly cautious folks that count calories and what what they eat — only a few remaining still goes to OCB. And this was my first time coming here in over 15 years and I cannot see why it’s still popular. The selection is minimal. Basic food items — Salad bar, Taco Bar, Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, pizza, and(dried out) ham are the basic selections along with a handful of side items. While dessert items looked like premade frozen choices that were dethawed and served in slices. What can one really expect if you pay $ 14 for all you can eat food though right? Rightfully not much. So go if you’re hungry for nothing but don’t expect much and you’ll be fine.
