Camelot Specialty Limos

I had a great experience with Camelot not only on my wedding day, but also during the entire planning process. They were friendly and patient, even when I kept changing the details of my contract (pick up address, pick up time, etc.). I booked way in advance (about 18 months, maybe), and they called to check in with me several times in that year and a half period. During our initial appointment, there was no pushy sales pitch, no pressure to secure the contract same day. They encouraged us to take our time, think things over. They also kept asking if we were sure we wanted a 29 passenger party bus, since we had a small bridal party. We did, owing to the fact that we were looking to create a really fun atmosphere, plus my fiancée and I have physical problems getting into and out of a traditional limosine. They could have merely humored us and taken the extra money, but they were instead committed to making sure we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into!
On the day of the event, the party bus was exactly on time, and the driver waited patiently while we all filed out of the house, collected our belongings, took photos, and participated in the general chaos of a wedding. The driver was very pleasant, and helped us all in and out, while we juggled dresses, bouquets, and more. When the wedding was over, a town car arrived to take us newlyweds home (this was a complimentary service, by the way, outlined in the contract), and again, the driver never rushed us as we left the venue, said our goodbyes, and loaded our packages into the vehicle, regardless of how long this took. And there were no hidden fees or additional charges tacked on the bill. It was just a terrific, hassle-​free experience from beginning to end.

I am very pleased with the service I received from the moment I walked into Camelot Specialty Limos to book transportation for my wedding straight through to the day of! The sales representatives were very patient and pleasant each time I called to add another car, and change pick up and drop off locations. The drivers all arrived a few minutes a head of schedule to ensure that they would be there on time for each pick up. The buses and limos were clean and well stocked. The drivers were professional and extremely helpful. My driver even fixed my obnoxiously long train as I entered the church, and was waiting in the vestibule with cold water for my husband and I to drink right before the receiving line assembled. I was also happy to discover that my last minute add on of a black explorer was changed to a white limo. I am glad I chose Camelot, and I plan to keep doing so in the future!

Camelot was spectacular! Price was reasonable. One of our drivers (I want to say his name was Dennis) was great! The second driver took off on us before we had a chance to take some more pictures in/​around our Rolls Royce. Both drivers were on time and both vehicles were top notch.

WORST company I have ever dealt with. Besides the fact that they were much more expensive than other companies in the area, we had ‘mechanical problems’ from the start with two limos that we rented for our wedding. First they informed us two days before the wedding that our Audi limo suddenly wasn’t available (have in mind we booked both limos 7 months in advance) so they substituted with a party bus that ended up looking like an airport shuttle. Then on the day of, the Rolls Royce we rented that picked up the bride and her father broke down on the way to the church as they were getting on the highway. They were stranded on the side of the road and the only option was to have the shuttle bus go back and pick them up off the side of the road. It was extremely embarrassing to have my wife in her wedding dress and her father picked up off the middle of the street and driven to the church to arrive in front of all the guest in a bus. The ordeal caused them to be an hour late to the service and also miss one of our photo shoots. This was barely even when the problems started. The day after the wedding I had to call them constantly demanding for a manager to call me back so I can logically receive a refund for at least the Rolls Royce (a real company would have offered at least a discount on the other limo as well actually) but no one returned my call for 3 days. «Joe» decides to call me 3 days later not to apologize for the horrible experience I had with his limos but to rudely inform me he needed a few weeks to decide if my case was true or not by «checking the GPS records». Being patient I accepted the time he wanted and after 2 weeks since I had no call back, I called again (of course had to wait days for a call back from Joe) then his response once again was he needed more time to decide but most likely I wouldn’t be getting any refund. After a month of waiting I called him back to hear his final decision, of course had to leave a message and then in response I received an email, after a few days, offering me just half the price I paid for the Rolls Royce in the form of CREDIT only if I rented another limo again (I guess for my next wedding). Of course I called them again to reach Joe for a final time and received a 20min jabber from him about how he’s trying to run a business and that I was the one not being reasonable by demanding refunds (I only asked for what I paid for the Rolls that broke down) and HE actually suggested that take him to small claims if I wanted my money back. At this point I realized he was a scam artist so I finally did the next best thing which I should have done from the beginning and filed a dispute with my credit card. My card of course requested an explanation from him for not refunding me for a «service not rendered» since the limo broke down literally a couple of blocks after we left. He of course didn’t have one and after two more months of waiting for him to respond, the card refunded me.
I’m warning anyone who even considers this company to be careful and especially read the fine print. Believe it or not their contracts state that they can replace any vehicle you agreed upon to rent with ANY other vehicle they choose at any time, even the day of, no questions asked no reason need to be given! STAY AWAY!

Camelot limos absolutely outstanding, I got the Chrysler 300 from my wedding party they came 15 minutes early which helped… For pickup I had a surprise for my bride old school Rolls Royce looks like a million bucks… Had different driver he was very good, both drivers were good everybody I dealt with was professional… I highly recommend for any type of wedding or big event to use this limo company

My husband and I used Camelot because my sister had such an amazing experience with them, as did we for the most part. We booked them early and we’re thankful since we got married in the midst of wedding season. Days leading up to the wedding they called and confirmed everything which was fantastic! The day of the wedding the Rolls Royce driver was amazing, he treated myself, my parents and my husband like royalty! We also had the 38 passenger party bus for our bridal party. The bus driver was great in the beginning but once church was over he kept hinting that we were going over time and he just continued to get nasty about it. In the end we had to pay for the extra time which was not a big deal but the way the driver went about it was not professional. If your using this company… make sure to watch the time.

I give them 5 stars because the entire staff are professionals. I was in a pickle when the limo company I had was acting really sketchy. I called Camelot limos and they helped me as quick as possible and they made my big day come true. The man we had who drove us was the most attentive person. We loved every minute that we had with them. If anybody is searching for a limo company this is the place to go!!!

Had a little back and fort in price which was partially my fault. But the limo driver was very patient and professional. I would recommend this company. Just be sure what you want.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! RUN!!! I booked this company for my wedding and they RUINED my day. I booked their escalade for my wedding party. The evening before my wedding, I get a call stating, the escalade was having air conditioning problems and that they would be replacing it with a party bus! This is my wedding! I’m not going to a birthday party! We told them we still wanted the escalade even without the AC because it was at most a 20 minute ride and the weather was fine. They agreed. We called the morning of our wedding to confirm everything which they did. They Lied straight to our faces because guess what showed up. The party bus! No warning nothing. I couldn’t believe it! It looked like a tractor trailer from the outside. They RUINED my day. I was so embarrassed and refused to take a pictures in front of that Hideous Bus! Don’t be fooled by the Fake Reviews or the pretty pictures of their cars. They are liars. They tried to compensate by giving us a $ 200 gift certificate to use their service again. NEVER! They don’t even deserve one star. I should’ve listened to the reviews before making the mistake of booking with them.
–In Response to Joes comment, I don’t need to embellish anything. we WERE in fact lied to to. We told them we were fine having the the escalade with «AC problems» as we were just «taking pics» as he said. They confirmed with us that morning but it’s obvious they had other plans because they sent a bus instead without any warning. It was a HUGE waste of money because we weren’t going to be taking wedding photos in front of a bus! We didn’t need a «40 passenger bus» because we were just transporting my wedding party, not my guest list. So to say that’s an «upgrade» is an insult to my intelligence. I must admit your drivers were pretty nice, however that’s supposed to be expected. My jaw dropped when I Pulled up on my wedding day and see that bus parked outside when we was told otherwise. You did speak to my husband but refused to offer any kind of refund which couldn’t be more unprofessional. Also I’m sure if there were really mechanical you would’ve offered some sort of proof which you did not. It is my opinion that your company is insensitive and not genuine. It definitely came across like you found someone else who also needed the car at the time who wanted it for longer or who was willing to pay more.
With all that said, I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who has their eye set on a particular car or limo unless they are willing to take a gamble on receiving something other than what they bargained for…

Can’t say enough good things about Camelot! We used them for a Night out to NYC with my friends. The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. When the SUV limo arrived the driver was punctual, respectful and professional. The limo was clean, beautiful and everyone fit comfortably. We had such a great time that night and having a limo company you can rely on is part of that pleasant experience. I will definitely be using Camelot in the future!

I must say, this is the most reliable and classy limo business I have ever used. Their driver Frankie was on time and courteous and the 4 limos I rented for the day were brand spanking new and clean as a whistle. I def will recommend and use again…

I never write reviews but I am beyond pissed off. DO NOT use this company. I booked a limo from them for my wedding day and what pulled up was NOT what I had ordered. I could not believe my eyes when an old Navigator stretch pulled up (something out of Senior Prom) instead of the new Chrysler 300 I was looking forward to. The driver was sweet, that was about the only positive thing. When my husband called to explain what had happened, NOTHING was done to compensate us. Terrible business. I will NOT be recommending them to any of my friends or family and will also let everyone know how they do service.

Arranged with Camelot Limos for a ride to and from Newark Airport. Had a price and signed agreement in place. Two days before our trip, Camelot calls and says they «misquoted» the price and need another $ 200.
We refused and, after scrambling for a different way to get to and from the airport, cancelled the ride.
Not a professional way of doing business.

I’m a little surprised by the negative reviews because my experience was so opposite. From the beginning the office staff was very helpful and professional. I wish I could remember names but I can’t seem to remember. The woman that we initially spoke with helped us decide what would be the best for our needs and it all worked out perfectly.
We rented a specialty car and vans for our wedding day and they provided a free town car for the ride back to the hotel after the wedding which really surprised me. The gentleman that drove our car was so incredibly nice and was very professional. I was very nervous on the ride to the church and he must have sensed it because he was saying all of the right things to calm me down. I didn’t realize that he would come in and help me at the church but he did and I really don’t know if it is something they normally do or it was because he was just so nice.
My brother who has special needs came with me in the car and was so excited about the fancy car and the driver was so great to him. I always appreciate that because many people aren’t that way and it made me happy to see my brother being treated so well (one less worry for me).
The prices seems reasonable and Camelot did come highly recommended to me and I didn’t get quotes from any other company so I can’t say how they compare to other companies but I felt it was well worth it.

Worst limo company EVER! Look at all the reviews! Had a bachelor party, few beer cans left in limo at end of night, asked driver if he wanted us to clean it out and he stated «nah the cleaners will do it» … Next day get an additional $ 250 cleaning fee on credit card! Place is a total scam! They told us it took 4hrs to clean up a few cans… Dont ever use this place, they give u a good rate then slam you after its over!

Used for two rides to and from JFK. The limos were older models and a lot of noises. On one trip, the driver showed up late at the airport and had me waiting curbside. Need to improve equipment and service.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! From beginning to end Camelot was a disaster. It all began the morning of the wedding when we received a phone call that the Rolls Royce we booked was broken down. When we booked this vehicle we were assured and reassured that this old car was serviced often and that they had mechanics and parts on hand. We booked this car for the beautiful photo opportunity. We let this problem roll off our shoulders as we understand things like this happen. The escalade limo showed up at the wrong address to pick up the groom and groomsmen and proceeded to take them to them to a church in Merrick instead of the correct church in Flushing. When my husband asked to see the drivers paperwork, he realized that it was for the wedding the following day. Instead of him enjoying the ride with the wedding party he had to sit by the driver and guide him to the correct church. We booked a shuttle service for our guests from the hotel to the reception hall. We were supposed to have two 14 passenger shuttles circulating to and from the reception hall instead we received one 22 passenger party bus. Not only was it not what we asked for, but it was also unsightly and embarrassing. We had all of our older guests and family members on this bus with crazy strobe lights blinking and flashing. Everyone with common sense is aware that two 14 passenger shuttles can move more people than one 22 passenger party bus. During the cocktail hour we were waiting with our photographer for the remainder of our family members to take pictures. I had my husband frustrated screaming at Camelot during our reception. Not the ideal situation. At the end of our wedding we had an after party for an hour and a half. So once again, we booked two shuttles for the end of the night to continuously take our guests back to the hotel. When they arrived, they refused to take my guests back and made them stand in the cold. As per Joe at Camelot, the fast talking salesman that he is, the shuttle arrived at 12:01 and didn’t leave with my guests till 12:54. Why were my guests forced to wait for 53 minutes when we paid close to $ 900 for them to continuously take people back? Well, the guests that were there waiting in the cold got fed up and ended up taking cabs back to the hotel. It was extremely embarrassing that we told them about our shuttle service and they had to pay out of pocket to get back to the hotel. When it was all said and done we called Camelot and Joe sweet talked us to death saying that he knows we’re not the type of people that need monetary reimbursement. He is the BIGGEST bullshit artist we have ever come into contact with in our lives! Please, for your sanity and to avoid a headache, DO NOT USE CAMELOT!

I had the pleasure of having Camelot for 2 events. First of which, my family rented a limo to go to the MLB All Star game and the 2^nd was our wedding. Both events, the driver came at least 20 minutes early. The driver for the game was great in dropping us off at a good location and was easy to contact when we needed to find him for our ride home. I had called at least 5 – 6 different limo companies for this event and Camelot was the cheapest/​best price. For our wedding, we had the Chrysler 300 limo. Absolutely loved it!!! The only downfall (hence minus 1 star), was the fact the radio in the limo was fuzzy and didn’t exact provide the best music to the wedding reception. Otherwise, service was great! Our driver for the wedding made sure that my husband and I had water to drink after the ceremony, as we were taking pictures at the church. I would highly recommend!!!

Don’t believe the good reviews. Camelot Limos is a fraud– starting at the top with the owner Joe. I ordered a Rolls Royce for my husband as his wedding present. Camelot Limo sent a Bentley. When I called after the Wedding as to why this happened– they cited «mechanical» issues. We paid over $ 700 for a car that we didn’t want and was a present. I explained that I ordered this Rolls Royce for my husband as a gift and it was a HUGE disappointment that it was not delivered. Furthermore– they did not notify me that there was a problem with the Rolls Royce the day before or even the day of– which is hugely unprofessional. Joe– the owner– refused to give us any partial refund and refused to supply an evidence that the Rolls Royce had mechanical problems. They did not supply what they were contractually obligated and this is illegal.
Obviously they rented the Rolls Royce to someone who paid more money or something of the like– and even if they didn’t– what kind of company doesn’t give a partial refund for a service that they DID NOT provide and were contractually obligated to do? (a very stingy/​arrogant company). We weren’t asking for ALL of our of money back– although that would have been within reason. We wanted $ 200 back.
The drivers were horrible as well. Camelot called us the Sunday MORNING (!!!&*^%) before the Wedding to confirm the locations we would be driving with the limos. Whoever called did NOT translate this information to the drivers– who both asked for addresses of where we going the day of the wedding and needed to input into their GPSs. This is more on an annoyance and legitimate complaint but why wake me up on a Sunday morning for a confirmation and then not inform your drivers– again– VERY unprofessional.
Camelot Limo are thieves– spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
