History
Established in 1957.
St. John’s Thrift Shop was originally started by St. John’s Episcopal Church, Fallbrook to pay off the mortgage to the current church located at 434 N. Iowa St. Fallbrook, CA 92 028.
This was accomplished many years ago and since that time St. John’s Episcopal Church has kept their Thrift Shop in existance to provide financial support and assistance to organizations in Fallbrook and beyond which provide food, clothing, shelter and/or support to those in need.
Meet the Manager
Advisory Board A.
Manager
The Thrift Shop Advisory Board is comprised of both members of St. John’s Episcopal Church and others from the community at large who believe in the mission of St. John’s Thrift Shop. All members of the Advisory Board are volunteers and each board member gladly volunteers in the shop one day each week and one Saturday per month. The shop is managed by the Advisory Board. Each member of the board has accepted the responsibility for overseeing an aspect of the shop operations.
St. John’s Thrift Shop is staffed by volunteers. Not all volunteers are members of St. John’s Episcopal Church, but all volunteers believe in our mission of providing support to those in need in the Fallbrook Community and beyond.
Our volunteers are what make us successful.
