History

Established in 2009.

Hidden Treasures Thrift Store is a 501 C 3 tax-​exempt organization run by a board of directors operating various local programs aiding adults with developmental disabilities. Our primary purpose is to teach disabled individuals the vital skills needed to live life as fully and independently as their disability will allow. These include a center-​based program that is set up for individuals who cannot be in the community on a full time basis, a vocational day program teaching life skills such as shopping, banking, social skills, obtaining meaningful employment and volunteer jobs. We also direct an independent living program helping disabled adults learn how to manage life on their own, and a residential facility providing a home for individuals with behavioral challenges.

We are committed to creating jobs ensuring these individuals enjoy the benefits of meaningful employment and the independent rights most of us take for granted.
