If your looking for that ‘Old School’ breakfast diner type vibe, this place is pretty close. I have not been there for anything other than breakfast but the wife and I go back frequently on a Saturday or Sunday mornings when we don’t feel like cooking at home. We plan on trying to stop in some time for lunch or dinner. Will update review if we do.

Seems like everything is pre made. They microwave their biscuits right behind the counter. Country gravy, my entire table of six couldn’t take two bites. Prices are high. And the service was not welcoming or friendly. I would have rather been at Denny’s.

Great little cozy diner with generous portions of food. Fish Fridays are great with an ayce fish and chips special for around $ 14 featuring some great tasting beer battered Cod. Breakfast is also great here as well as lunch. Also love the Chilli. The restaurant offers a assorted variety of early bird dinner specials. Been coming here for over 12 years and never a disappointing meal. Give it a try on your next visit to Fallbrook.

Decided to stop by here after a wedding rehearsal. We had a large party that wanted to sit together, but they didn’t have a large enough table indoor. The workers and the manager were extremely helpful in putting the tables outdoor together and got the umbrellas up to block the sun. They have a large menu with different breakfast and lunch items. I decided to get the Steak and Egg. The steak was cooked well and a decent size. Everyone all enjoyed their food. The customer service was beyond notable, they were attentive throughout the entire meal. Will definitely be back if we are around the area again!

I thought this might be a cool local place. Not so much. The food was adequate. The service was adequate. Next time I’ll go someplace else. I am new to Fallbrook but I won’t come here again.

Everything is scratch made with quality ingredients. They treat you like family here. Had the German chocolate pancakes and they are so good, not to sweet. Wife got the country benny and the portion was huge. Definitely recommend people to give this place a shot.

My husband and I are from the Midwest and this Resturant reminds us a lot of home and the typical small town diner meal selections. You can’t beat the prices and the food is great with sizable portions and the atmosphere is calming. :)

It’s cute you can tell it’s a place were locals eat I have lived in fallbrook for 3 years and finally had the time to try it and I can say it’s not a place you should go to for dinner I hate the meat loft meal it was smothered in gravy yes I know some meatloaf has gravy topping but I asked for no gravy on my mash why would I want it on my meatloaf but mine wasn’t the only plate that wasn’t all that grate either I ordered my toddler the meat ball n spaghetti kid size boy it was a big plate and the noodles looked like they have been in the water way to long totally blown up big big noodles but my dinner was really disappointing I pictured a nice thick juicy meatloaf with a good tangy sweet ketchup topping but I got flat dried smothered in thick gravy I’m Still burping it up so don’t go there for dinner but the sever was vary nice

This is our go to local place for breakfast/lunch/dinner/whatever. They’ve got excellent breakfast and decent everything else. Oh and their homemade desserts are to die for. Try the chocolate crème pie — it’s amazing. Coffee also is very good.

Great, great, great! We waited only a short time to be seated for our group of 11. Very accommodating. The service was spot on and the food was delicious. I ordered the veggie burrito with out egg or cheese, got a side of salsa and some cholula hot sauce and it was perfect. I like spicy and their salsa was super mild. Elise was our server(hope I spelt that correctly) She was quick and handled our group alone and took care of every big and small request! You rock, thank you! Every plate was empty when we left, including all the kids. I’m guessing that is a great sign. The coffee was HOT and refilled frequently also. The bill at the end was super fair for the meal. Please give it a try if you are looking to have an excellent meal. We will definitely make this our breakfast place whenever we are in town.

The food was good and plates are huge and the prices okay but the service was not and there is no room for anything. I came for the first time with co workers and even though it was only 10 of us we got shoved into a small corner(normally sitting 7) with a security camera pointing right at our faces. The server was way too stressed out and the place was not all that busy at least that we could see. I always leave a tip because I mean come on now any service is better than no service, but I can honestly say I was contemplating whether to leave any this time or not because I was so dissatisfied with the attitude of the server. PS don’t ask for seconds on your child’s juice because they will just come and warn you there is no refills and you’ll have to buy another one. It’s not like I have a choice and am going to let my child be thirsty! Did I mention it’s tiny tiny tiny :)

A bit pricey. $ 11 omelettes. $ 6.25 kids meals. $ 1 if you share a plate. Very casual atmosphere(typical café). Fruit was cantaloupe and melon. Considering the prices, I wasn’t super impressed. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Came here for a lunch with my coworker. It was a rainy day so I was craving some chili. Chili was already made and they just put it in a bowl for me when I got there along with some cheese, onions and a side of sour cream. This is one of the better chili soups I’ve had in a while and it hit the spot. Nice little place in Fallbrook. I’ve heard from many coworkers that live nearby that this place is good. Their menus look a little outdated and are kind of falling apart. I would suggest making new(clean) ones and have a paper menu for people to take home. It would help out people who want to place orders for pickup or takeout. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on their menu

Nice café find = good food and good service. Had the fish and chips. Appeared to be real cod(4 pieces) and french fries. The fish could have been cooked a bit more crispy and the fries could have been a little hotter, but still much better than most places. Also had jumbo shrimp plate, which was cooked perfectly and tasty. Both had bowls of clam chowder, with lots of clams, potatoes, and great taste. Ordered another 2 pieces of fish that were perfect(hotter and crispier than the first 4) Dessert was spumoni ice cream. Waitress and staff were all very nice, friendly, and helpful. Will return to try some breakfast items !

Fallbrook Café is a nice quaint café in this adorable town. It’s not fancy inside, as its aged and not been updated, but that kind of gives it a nice feel. The service is efficient but not very friendly. I had an easy order, a BLT and a salad. The sandwich was good, ample full of tasty ingredients, and the salad was nice. Their dressings are homemade and quite good. If I were in town and looking for down-home cooking, I would certainly return to Fallbrook Café.

I had lunch today at this iconic Greek café. Not that they serve Greek food, but rather solid American comfort food(the owners are Greek). Where else can you get a delicious, homemade chicken pot pie for only $ 5.95? This place has great deals on a variety of burgers, sandwiches, etc. I’ve never been here for breakfast or dinner, but the lunches are predictably wonderful. Today I had the split pea soup for $ 2.95. I wasn’t especially hungry, so didn’t roger my traditional Avocado Burger, which is served with half an avocado. Amazing! The soup wasn’t outstanding, but it was flavorful with homemade croutons and a creamy texture I have come to expect from the best cream soups. If you find yourself on Mission Road, I highly recommend this popular diner. You won’t be disappointed.
