First off don’t listen to the bad reviews we have been here 3 times and every time we have had little to no complaints ! We ate here on a Saturday night there was a live band on the patio, we made a reservation in advance to get a table. Thank band was great 70’s hit music with a great sound. My husband had the Bison sliders and I had the herbed chicken with polenta not were great. We did have some grilled octopus for an appetizer that we did not like due to it being over cooked but that did not effect our experience at all you do t always like everything a place serves. The service was pretty good for a busy Saturday night. This time we used a groupon and everything was great. We have also been for the Sunday brunch which we all enjoyed. It’s a Buffett so you get what you expect. The kids loved the pancakes and we loved the bloody Marys. If you live on this area this is a perfect place to go! We will be back

Have been there several times over the last year and a half. Service and food is spotty — sometimes good, sometimes way off. We went again Friday night. It was TERRIBLE. There is no other word for it. Twice now we’ve ordered the same bottle of wine from the wine list and poof they never have it. So take it off the list! There was one waiter for 2 dining rooms — he wasn’t the greatest but it was totally unfair to give him that many tables to take care of so needless to say the service was not good. The place was very noisy — mostly a bar crowd. The food — while the menu never changes — was again — so/so as in spotty. Not the freshest. We won’t go back — I had read there was a new owner in place — it seems it not only isn’t helping but it is worse than before.

I was there on a Saturday night. They have the best band playing that included a 14 year old kid. The service was great the staff very attentive. Food and drinks were very very good. The patio was packed but the waiters were on it and didn’t miss a beat. I got my food and drinks in a timely manner and I really had my doubts because it was so busy and they were taking everyone’s order. We had breakfast there the next morning and that to was very good. I highly recommend it

We met some friends here for dinner on a Friday night. We had reservations and were promptly seated when we arrived. Our table was right next to some wound ow and had a nice view. Our drink order was delivered in a timely manner and we asked for time to enjoy our drinks while catching up. The service was great, food was fresh and hot. All in all our party of five had a great night. We plan on going back and getting room to have an over night date night.

WORSTDININGEXPERIENCEINYEARS!!! Last night we had a rare opportunity to have a nice date night and not have to worry about picking up/dropping off our daughter and being her personal taxi so we were super stoked to go to Aqua Terra. Unfortunately we were so disappointed! We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and of course they didn’t have us on the list. The hostess was all over the place, running around looking beyond stressed, all the while there was a long line of people trying to check in for their reservations. She said she would have our table ready in about 10 minutes, so we grabbed a drink from the bar and took a seat outside whee she said she would come and find us. Now the view and whole ambiance of the outside area is so beautiful. I love having drinks on a golf course at sunset. It’s always so pretty. So this is the reason they get a single star… For the view ONLY! 25 minutes later, we walked in a looked at the hostess asking if our table was ready. She looked at us, said who are you again? This blew my mind. She said she sees so many people at nig she didn’t remember us. We told our name, said she told us 25 minutes ago that she would come get us when our table was ready. Just ridiculous. She was young and inexperienced in customer service clearly. We finally got seated… Once seated, I noticed 2 serves arguing over who would take which tables downstairs. It just looked so tacky and unprofessional! Our server finally came over to our table and we ordered drinks. He wanted to take our drinks and food order at the same time which I absolutely HATE to do. I like to get my cocktail, and look at the menu on my own time. Either way, we did what he wanted seeing as they were SOOOO understaffed and had way too many people in the restaurant then they could deal with. 25 minutes later… I repeat 25 minutes later, the busses brought the bread and some water. Still no drinks. I had to ask him to check on them because our server hadn’t been seen in that whole time. Granted, no other tables around us had their drinks and they all looked pissed off as well so I didn’t take it personal. Busses came back, said they weren’t ready yet… 30 minutes later still no drinks. We got up from our table and left. How unfortunate! The menu looked great, although very pricey, but the service is just horrendous! We will never be coming back here and I hope management looked at their reviews and tries to initiate some sort of change cause that is really bad!

I was not expecting the restaurant to be as good as is it. The Pala Mesa Resort looks a little faded around the edges and the restaurant, though it has a nice layout and view, looks like it could use some updating. But the food is terrific. We had lunch the first day – my husband a tasty chicken breast sandwich with good quality goat cheese, I had salmon tacos with a mango/chili salsa. Packed with flavors, delicious. I had the tomato soup the next day – rich and creamy. Our dinners were excellent – my husband had a chicken breast stuffed with spinach/cheese and I had a fabulous stuffed spaghetti squash with sautéed vegetables, marinara, Mozzarella and balsamic reduction with a lovely presentation – could have been on the menu of any top notch restaurant. Everything tasted very fresh and the dishes had a unique flair to them. Would definitely return often if I lived in the area. I would not try the sushi – was being made by someone who was definitely not Japanese and the fish was not looking fresh – this area of the restaurant is not where the chef of the Aquaterra main menu is cooking – so walk past the bar to the main part of the restaurant to have a great meal.

Food is good but service is a hit or miss. Short staffed sometimes and the kitchen is shared with banquets which can delay your food.

Happy hour sushi is great for the price. Salmon tacos & the scallops are also excellent. The view is great, staff is very friendly, my wife & I go here all the time.

Just a little disclaimer but I am a little biased in this review. I had my wedding at Pala Mesa Resort and the food at Aquaterra was the same food that was catered at my wedding. So the experience and food has a nostalgic factor for me. Also throw in the annual discount card that you can buy for $ 100 and you get Monday meals half off as well ass 25% off meals the rest of the week. The food is good and the price AFTER the discount card is cheap. But without the card, it is a tad expensive. Atmosphere is classy. It can get a little noisy at times but it’s still bearable. It has a bar and a TV for football fans, so that’s a plus. 4STARS… Justice has been served!!!
