Portland roasting coffee! Friendly service. The only downside is that sometimes it is crazy busy and you may wait a little while

The girls are always super friendly in there and this is one of my fave spots to stop and get a bite with some coffee. Super cozy atmosphere, they even have couches!

Nice location. Employees are friendly and bring your order to table. Price is average. Not a drive in this is a nice sit down and relax break. Portland roasted coffee and fresh baked goods or soups. Nice neighborhood spot for the village of Fairview.

This is my go to coffee place for when I want to just sit down and talk with my group of friends. The staff are super nice and the décor is adorable! I mean come on it’s a spoon chandelier!

Coffee was excellent, service was quick and friendly. The only thing I would suggest is invest in new furniture for the relaxers-the couch was next to impossible to get out of. There were several flies in the area I was sitting, but those are a bit harder to control.

Our favorite coffee house! The staff makes us feel like family every time we stop by. Our children love the smoothies and are treated just as valued as adults. The dirty chai is our favorite drink.

Great staff that seem to never have a bad day. The music piped in is at a level to hear easily but without playing over conversation. Coffee is good

I love the atmosphere and the service here! It’s a great place to sip a latte while you read a book. The pastries are my favorite part and the coffee is good if you like Portland Roasting. This is my favorite coffee shop in the Gresham area.

This coffee café has it all. Amazing coffee(not exaggerating — try the cold brew), great food(go for the mexican wrap) and a staff that deserves several gold stars! Located in what looks similar to a strip mall, I wasn’t expecting much. But upon stepping in, I felt immediately welcome by the nice staff and comfy décor. Such a cool chandelier! I could have spent hours here. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Stopped by this place on the way to the falls and loved it. The atmosphere is so cute and spacias. Most importantly the coffee is delicious and the Mexican wrap was great as well. The staff was so nice too. I will come back for sure.

We needed a place to work remotely(with Wi-Fi) on the afternoon of 5÷13÷15 so we visited Stomping Grounds. The staff was friendly, coffee was delicious, and establishment was clean. If I had one complaint it would be the other customers! While we were here we heard one lady complain about her food(after it seemed like she finished it) saying it was«too hot». The staff apologized(sincerely) and offered to issue a refund but the woman declined. Personally if I have an issue with my food and plan to bring it up, I’d do it before I was getting up to leave — maybe that’s just me. Then there was this lady outside with her dog who opened the door asking, scratch that, demanding for someone to come out and help her because she couldn’t bring the dog inside. The staff was busy and it’s obvious that this is the type of place where you go up to the counter and order. It’s not the staff’s fault that you decided to bring your dog here and didn’t figure out how you were going to order. She sat outside and someone came out to take her order(I don’t think I would have). Props to the staff for being able to roll with these crazy customers! If we’re ever in that area again then we’ll definitely make a stop again!

Fast and friendly service. Their coffee is excellent! I always eye the treats in the pastry case but I’ve yet to try them.

Saw this was the best place to come and get coffee in downtown Portland… it was! I told the man making the drinks we came all the way from Florida and he said welcome. He also said he does a special chocolate drink just for travelers. It was amazing and free!!! Adam was so nice and went above and beyond just making our order. Great staff, coffee, environment and music. Will be back for sure.

A great space that feels full of people but not crowded. It is well staffed by perky(coffee pun intended) coffee slingers who seem not to hate their jobs. I had a Spanish Mocha that was delicious.. both Mocha-y and Spanish-y. I will be back!

This is, thus far, the best coffee place we’ve found in the Portland metro area. It’s cute, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is fantastic. Stomping Grounds has a lot of unique flavored coffee drinks that you won’t find at any Starbucks, and next to Stumptown, this is a breath of unpretentious air. Thank you, Stomping Grounds, for being awesome. We’ve already visited a good half dozen times and will keep coming back for more.

I’ve spent months if not years of my life sitting quietly in the corners of coffee shops listing to music or writing. Since I moved to the outskirts of Portland I’ve been pretty upset not having a coffee shop on my corner to sit around for hours, that is until I found Stomping Grounds Coffee House. I’ve spent many hours here now over the last few months. They have made me feel like I’m more than just any other customer by always knowing what I want as I walk up to the counter and I’m sure they only know me as «16 oz mocha man» but that’s enough for me. Pros: Quiet, Local, lots of smiles, great lunches and snacks, friendly, and beautifully decorated. Cons: Portland Roasting Coffee Company… In my opinion and only mine I don’t really enjoy the brand they serve, but it hasn’t kept me away. Much love for this place! I’d love to see them start thinking about hiring a roaster to roast their own beans! Then I’d be in love!

Love this place! It has a great feel to it and great drinks. The décor is fun and has a vintagey feel. The chalkboard wall is AWESOME. Mommy alert: there is a REAL changing table in the bathroom. That. Is. Awesome. I love that there are two separate couch areas and several tables. I had a great time having coffee with friends today.
