Carlino’s Pizza & Deli

Best pizza in town! My family and I are here about once a month and always order the taco pizza. It’s easily the top 5 best pizzas I have ever had. The sandwiches and jalapeño poppers are also so delicious! The crust and bread are the best and we will continue to be regular customers :)

I’ve gotten pizza here twice now, good pizza, the dough is really good. I also got the breadsticks and those were good as well. The lady at the counter was nice and my food came out really quick. I’ll definitely be returning.

Terrible taco pizza! First time ordering pizza from here and with the ratings I thought it would be pretty good. It was mooshy and the meat was burnt. Half the stuff on it, I couldn’t even tell what it was. My boyfriend and I couldn’t even eat it. I kinda want my money back :(

Carlino’s has the best pizza is east county, hands down. I have never been disappointed when choosing to eat here or have them deliver. It can be tough to find good food outside of Portland but you won’t be disappointed coming here. I gunk their crust is amazing, and they have plenty of different pizza options to choose from. Worth a stop in here if you’ve never been!

Great service and atmosphere. Been going here for a few years now and everything i have tried is awesome. Pizza sandwiches are off the hook, theyre home made bread is what sets it off. Highly recommended!

Great local joint with good food and very friendly staff. My favorite is the club sandwich with avocado. I would recommend!

Weird strip mall pizza joint with mediocre food and drinks. Everyone was flustered by the fact that we ordered drinks.

*First I want to respond to Katie B’s review. 1. I don’t believe that using Unilocal to attack people because you find them «mousey» is the purpose of this forum or a decent thing to do as a human! Please consider the feelings of others when you write personal attacks in your reviews.
2.By your own review the staff tried to do everything right by you and even gave you a full refund. That’s AMAZING in this day and age, regardless of if you like something or not!
Now to my review–
The food here is amazing! With sandwich bread and pizza dough made fresh daily. Hamburgers are fresh made and their own recipe, which are delish! The sandwich sauce is their own recipe as well and makes the sandwiches like — BLTs and Grilled Chicken sensational!
Drinks — amazingly they are made with fresh juices — very few places even in downtown Portland make lemon drops with fresh lemon juice — Carlino’s does! Enjoy!

They have good pizza I’m not to crazy about their pizza but my husband is. I guess you just have to try it to see if you like it. There’s one pizza I really like and that’s the Grande garlic pizza. Tonight we tried the mama carlinos pizza and I was not a big fan of it mainly because of the sauce however my husband seemed pleased with it.

AMAZING BLT sandwiches!!! I come here almost every Friday on my lunch hour and sometimes pick up big orders for our clinic staff during lunch hour, too. There’s always great a atmosphere and quick friendly service! They always have fresh baked bread, deserts, and did I mention their blt sandwiches?

Terrible service, obviously canned and frozen food was used for everything. Gotta love drinking a rum and coke and notice there’s a dozen dead fruit flies in your drink, who knows how many I already ingested. This place will be on dirty diners very soon. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!

This place was really good and the prices are hard to beat. We went here for a date night. It felt a little awkward for a date because of the wood booths like a fast food place but we really enjoyed ourselves anyway. We split a salad and the chili cheese dog. Both were really delicious. I would recommend the Italian Trio Salad. They have some good beer on tap. I was excited and surprised to see that they had Vortex IPA from Fort George Brewing there. That’s a super awesome bonus point in my book. This place seems like a great place to have a family meal. We will definitely be back and next time we are getting the pizza we keep hearing about.

Yikes! The mousy little girl at the counter was less than helpful. We asked several questions about the menu she misinformed us about the toppings and the meat! These are not hamburgers they are mini meatloaf patties. They add turmeric but don’t bother to mention it to you so you get your burger, take a bite and then want to vomit! They were extremely helpful and wanted to refund our money and make us new food we passed but we probably won’t come back again. Upshot is that the Carlino’s cooler was delicious as with a lemon drop!
Omg! When my boyfriend out to the bottom of his rum and Coke there were multiple fruit flies and black specs. We showed the mousy little girl and she said she couldn’t help us because her manager was on a break

Great pizza, quick delivery. The staff and owners are always super kind. They know how to strike the balance between not too much sauce, a hearty amount of toppings, and soft + thick crust! Good food, good people.

There was nothing that really set this place apart from any other pizza spot. The ambience was nice and it is a cute place, as far as the food goes the pizza was just ok.

Pizza is great! Prices are decent. Front desk staff could be a little more sociable and less awkward. I feel like she kept staring at us waiting to take our plates, which is nice. But she was peaking around the corner at us like we couldn’t see her lol. But happy with our meal!

Pizza here is really good. Probably the best you can get it the Gresham area! Crust is great and ingredients taste really fresh. Also love the feel of this place. Nice to have good pizza close to home.

This would be a review about their pizza, but I haven’t actually received it!
I went on their website and placed an order for two pizzas at 2:27 PM. I asked for delivery ASAP and they gave me a time of 3:02 PM according to the e-​mail confirmation I received.
As I write this, it is now 4:10 PM and I have neither seen nor heard from them at all. No call to me of any kind, and I have attempted to call them five times over the past 10 minutes or so and the phone just rings and rings for over a minute each time before beeping like it’s going to a fax machine or voicemail.
I was hungry when I placed the order, I’m hungrier now, and it’s time to eat something else. If you have an online order service, you’d better get it right and you’d better answer your phone when someone tries to call to check on it.
Completely unacceptable and inexcusable.
I’ll update if I actually ever hear back from them or get someone showing up with the food.
(Note: I walked in a couple months ago to try a burger and liked it. I don’t know if they’re open today or not because of the holiday weekend, but if they are closed their online ordering service should reflect that and not allow someone to actually place an order.)
(Added Note, 9÷6÷15: Never heard anything at all from them yesterday.)

Great meat lovers. Small feeds 2 people, pizza sauce is kinda spicy so don’t add red peppers until you taste. Crispy mozarella sticks… yum, high on the list to return

The pizza is so good, but I came today for the pizza sandwiches! The bread was freshly roasted and the food was very hot coming out of the kitchen. I did not expect the sandwich to come out so quickly! They also do delivery, and I am definitely going to come back. Some of the best I’ve ever had!

Order from these guys all the time chopping a star because they are closed Saturday on memorial day weekend and didn’t suspend their online ordering tool waited an hour for my food before realizing I remembered reading a review on here pointing out the same problem… Fix it guys stuffs messed up.

They are jerks here! I asked what there delivery range was and he said 3 miles then he had rude tone and attitude. I was asked where I lived I gave address. he immediately said that’s out of our range! Ok I understand –I just looked up on the map I am 3.1 miles away from them for them to act like that is ridiculous I will never order from them after the one guy and one conversation. I have family that have ordered from them for years and like the food that usually comes to them but say they make a lot of mistakes on their orders and when confronting the business they have never corrected their mistakes or been apologetic. I hate leaving bad reviews but I think they’ve earned it.

Frequent Carlino’s for lunch and always pleased. The ladies working are always very friendly and talkative, their chicken walnut sandwich is great, and they are super speedy without sacrificing quality. What separates Carlino’s from other sandwich shops is the bread. It is just amazing!
I enjoy the break from the sometimes pretentious Portland foodie scene and love finding family run gems like this out in Gresham and Fairview. Carlino’s clearly cares about the quality of food and service. Great place.
