Its hit or miss with the hair cuts. Just yesterday I went in and asked for a medium fade. walked out looking like Col. Guile from Street Fighter. The price is only slightly cheaper compared to off base prices. Safe to say I won’t be getting my hair cut on base anymore.

Another great haircut. She’s the best. Caring and attentive. She listens and works with her clients to give them the best haircut.

Most of the barbers here cannot cut hair or follow a simple instruction, they also expect you to give them tip after they butcher your hair. I do not recommend this place.

If you’re active duty… stand by for waiting on plenty retirees to get their haircuts. The only time uniformed personnel seem to have head of line privileges is during lunch time. Once you get in the chair it’s hit our miss. It seems that some people know barbers who do a good job and just put their numbers on them and wait it out. I got jacked twice yesterday by Lucy. She nicked me twice and I was literally bleeding when I left.

What can you say about this place really? The biggest thing about this place that I hate is the wait times. It’s sooo bad, you take a ticket and good luck waiting for the droves of people who are most likely on their lunch breaks to get a clean touch up. The service is hit or miss, a lot of times they just give you the basic buzz cut if you’re a male so don’t think they’ll ask for your suggestions. There’s not enough seating for the demand so you’d have to go out and come back to check on your number a lot. At least it’s cheap

Service is ok… once you finally get your number called. It’s takes forever just to get a hair cut. What makes me mad is that there is a long line of people waiting and you see one of the female barbers brushing her own hair in front of customers. Get off your own hair and start cutting your customers hair. Prices are decent but it has gone up close to $ 2 since September.

Don’t expect any ability to comply with the simplest of instructions. If you are lucky, you’ll get someone that speaks english. In short, if you don’t care about how you appear to the outside world and are perfectly content with a haircut utilizing the skill of a flo-bee… then this is the place for you.

3 stars in general for the place. It’s cheap but can be really busy at times. Ruby is great and has a loyal following, I would rate rate her 4 stars.

I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star. I was scalped at this place by a «barber» that asked how I wanted my hair cut and then cut it however he wanted paying no attention to the numbers I gave him for length. Needless to say, I’ve never been back. From what I hear, it’s pretty common there.

Hit or Miss cuts. I don’t go anymore. My two favorite barbers left. But, one barber opened her own shop. See my review for cali cuts. Le does a fantastic job(even more so because she can take her time)-she’s moving to a new shop Feb2013. My son gets great cuts there too. You can also get your hair washed for a couple extra bucks(sometimes she doesn’t charge). Walkin $ 10(military rate). Now you don’t have to risk a bad cut from a new barber.

I sure am glad this barbershop is here — you can get your haircut for less than $ 10, and it seems that if you go later on Saturday, you hardly have to wait at all! It could be a little hard to get the person that you want, but I haven’t had any problems with anyone. It sure beats paying $ 40 in downtown SF!
