Very dissatisfied with my experience. Went to this business to repair a broken thong piece on my Tory Burch sandals and was told by the owner, Renata, that I should probably get the shoes re-soled since they were pretty worn. Post repair– Looks wise, the shoes were fine and«fixed». Renata completed additional work on the thong piece for me because I wasn’t happy with the original fix. However, when I went to wear my shoes, they were the most painful sandals I have ever worn! Within minutes of walking around, I had to take them off and my feet hurt for the rest of the day. I reached out to Renata, telling her of this problem and asked for a refund– I paid $ 29.75 with tax. In a text message reply, she only offered me a partial refund– $ 12 plus tax(cost of replacing the sole). I explained to her that the shoes were now unwearable and I dumped money into them to just throw them away(when I could have spent $ 0 to begin with to throw them away). Renata was only willing to offer me the partial refund. I decided to take the shoes to a different cobbler to get a second opinion on the work. He had over 30 years of experience and told me that the work provided to me by Shoes-Two-You was a complete«hack job» and said I could quote him on that. The shoes were resoled incorrectly and with the wrong glue too… due to this, it caused the extreme pain during wear. The«new» sole was already beginning to come apart. He told me that it should have never been recommended to me that the shoes be resoled due to the great wear on them. I reached out again to the Renata of Shoes-Two-You to once again ask for the full refund of $ 29.75– telling her about the second opinion I had just received and how I wanted to part amicably. I told her that if just the thong has been fixed(like I originally wanted) then the shoes would have been able to be worn post fix, but instead they are unwearable with the new sole(only put on the shoes due to her recommendation). She replied to me with…(as mention above, this convo was via text, so this is a direct quote from Renata, the owner of Shoes-Two-You) «You are insane. Please don’t write me any of your king messages specially when they are offensive and disrespectful. My service was provided, your sandals were a piece of S. So I will not refund either part or the whole amount of my service and i DEMAND that you no longer contact me or I will press charges against you. I wished things didn’t get to this point but you pushed too hard. Please stop with the harassment t before I have to make a harassment complaint against you». As you can probably imagine, I was flabbergasted after receiving that reply from the owner! During the course of our text message conversation, I maintained an extremely professional manner with Renata from Shoes– Two– You and simply voiced my concerns over the work done on my Tory Burch sandals. I’m very upset that I can’t wear my shoes and simply wanted a refund. This is an incident that needs to be made public so other consumers don’t have the«opportunity» to potentially get into a similar situation with this business!
