In all honestly, everything about my meal was nauseating, and still has me sick after a good 24 hours. I didn’t know if it was possible to mess something up as simple as a caesar salad, but i guess i was wrong. I would nog recommend this place at all.

Okay burgers but overpriced for the portion and quality. Very greasy, limited mixed drink option but they lean towards more beers and bourbon.

Simply the best burgers in town! Great(creative) variety of burgers and selection of beers. It’s usually very busy. The décor is awesome.

It’s a chain. And that’s that. Burgers are better than a fast food chain but don’t expect anything special. They do have a wide array of bourbon and it’s a good place for groups to get together and hang out. Also their happy hour specials are pretty good.

So, Plan B saw my review. They reached out. And they have been AWESOME. First off, they comped our food and wine I think the next 3 times we went. I also received an in person and online apology – above and beyond customer service. And, Fairfield’s fryer has gone completely gluten free! I’ve sampled dishes outside the burger and everything is good, solid bar food. Thanks, Plan B :) You know how to make things right for your customers.

I’m only giving two stars to this location because the food is generally, consistently good at every location, but this place has the snarkiest, rudest bartender I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. I used to tend bar. My husband used to tend bar. If I ever treated anyone like she treated us, I’d have been written up if not fired. Honestly, I know being behind the bar gives some this unbelievable and inexplicable ego trip and she definitely fulfilled that stereotype, hands down. My husband and I and many of our friends frequent the WeHa and Milford locations and we’ve never had a problem before. But about two months ago, we had an awful experience here. We were exhausted after a long road trip(for an emergency, I might add, or we never would have been out so late with our infant daughter). It was close to 10 pm and the bar was still open and serving food. I have celiac and was not planning on ordering anything elaborate. I will also add our daughter has been out everywhere with us since she was about a week old and is perfectly calm and quiet in restaurants, so she would have been no trouble at all. So, we walk in, grateful to find a place I generally know I can safely eat. There were maybe 5 people there. After waiting for about 15 minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us(she was deeply engrossed in conversation with a couple at the other end of the bar and aside from a purely disdainful look at the baby carrier and an eye roll, didn’t bother saying a word until she was done talking. And no, it wasn’t service-oriented; these people appeared to be either regulars or her friends.), she finally asks if she could help us. We asked if we could seat ourselves, and since she’d kept us waiting until after 10(it was 10:05), if I could still order something gluten free. We start to sit when she snips at us to find our own seats, and then tells me that its too late for a gluten free order with a «too-bad» attitude, knowing full well she was essentially driving us out of the restaurant so she could go back to playing ego-trippin’ hostess to her friends. So we say well, great, and leave. As we’re going, she makes some snippy-sounding comment that was pure rudeness and unprofessional. I meant to call the next day to make a formal complaint, but honestly was so exhausted and busy that there wasn’t time. Needless to say, I’m extremely disappointed in Plan B for this disgusting level of service. We haven’t been to ANY location since this experience and I’m not sure we will ever be returning. Its sad that one nasty person has ruined our confidence and enjoyment of an otherwise pretty solid place.

Down to science with burgers and fries and hearty chili and salads too. It is not the first but in fact one of a few now I believe and as hard as it is to believe, There can be a standing line out the door to be seated on busy nights or weekends. If in the all American mood this place satisfies without a doubt.

I switched up the blue cheese burger a bit. Cheddar instead of bc, and added bacon. It comes with caramelized onions and bourbon BBQ sauce. Booom! So good, make you wanna slap yo papa! Random(not part of review). Does anyone else think that blue cheese tastes like feet? I have never licked feet/toes, but I’m guessing that is what it would taste like. I like bc dressing though for hot wings, weird. I also won’t eat tomato’s, but can rock out with ketchup, bruschetta, or salsa: p

Can’t hate on this place! Great beer selection and fantastic food. The service can be a little spotty when they’re busy and you’d hope they’d hire on an extra waiter or waitress during the busier times. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

American Nachos… yummy I ordered a naked burger(rare), got a bacon cheese burger(rare) and I ate it cause I was hungry. But I ordered a naked burger. Also…when a guest stacks used empty plates at the end of the table(and has used napkins on top of it) someone needs to bus that stuff off of the table ASAP. Our waitress took our order and that was the last we saw of her until I asked for the check. Asked for extra napkins from some dude delivering the American nachos, he gave us two napkins. The place has a good vibe. Food and prices are ok. Service needs some work.

Plan B in Stamford sucks so we drove to this location hoping that we’ll get good service. Well, it was more than we hoped for. Brett, our server for that night, was awesome– Very friendly and attentive! We already know that they have good food so it’s the service that makes it or breaks it. Thanks Brett! We really enjoyed our dinner out that night.

I came here with a bunch of friends and everyone was very pleased with their food. However, the service was not very great. Everything took very long to come out, which was upsetting because the food here is delicious. I shared the jalapeño poppers with a few people and they were a great starter. For my entrée, I got the tavern classic burger and added American cheese and caramelized onions to it. The taste of the burger was fantastic, but I wish it was a little more pink on the inside. The truffle fries were amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is patient enough to deal with the slow service.

Good food, had the turkey burger tonight. Beer is cold, always a plus. Been here before and have yet to be disappointed. Casual atmosphere, the music is NOT to loud just the right level. The lobster hush puppies are super tasty. Erin H, not the other Erin who we didn’t talk to, was great fun to talk to and gave prompt service with a smile and chipper attitude.

Conceptually I really dig this place. Nice addition to Fiarfield’s ever evolving Resturant destination scene. I don’t eat beef, so I’ve had the turkey burger SoCal style w the roasted fresh jalapeños and it’s always very good. Lots of variety on the menu for all even vegetarian. Nice cocktail, wine & craft beer menu. Service is faster but not always accurate or attentive. It’s always loud. And Bcz this is a suburb and near the train station you have a mixed crowd. Private parking lot & outdoor dining when the season allows.

My first experience with Plan B was in Stamford. Maybe I wasn’t as big of a burger fan, or maybe it was an off day, but I would have rated that meal VERY low at that point in time. This was 3 – 4 years ago. However, Plan B in Fairfield was different, and my expectations were low. My group(of 13) waited a long time for a seat, probably 45 minutes on a Thursday. Not a great way to begin. The atmosphere is new, and inviting. It uses a lot of natural wood, steampunk light fixtures, pallets spray-painted brown on the ceilings, and more bottles of Whiskey than you can imagine. Great looking place. Since we had a large party, we had two servers, who didn’t stand out. They took our order, did fine, and served us quickly. The pickles in a plate for my friend, with a candle(his birthday), was a nice touch and suggestion. Now, to the burger. I enjoyed a Bacon Cheeseburger, with a fried egg on top(my suggestion), with a side salad. The salad was simple, but they accidentally forgot the dressing, so I used the burger’s sauce as the dressing, and it was delicious. The burger itself, was cooked great. The meat was juicy, and the bacon/egg/caramelized onions came together for a great set of bites. As always, the sauce pulled it all together. I was expecting too much beef(which was the case in Stamford, and yes, you can have too much beef), but the portion size was great. I was full enough, and felt good about what I had eaten. I think this is worth a trip. I would suggest getting extra sauce(whatever sauce they use on the burger), on the side. This added touch makes the burger less dry. A great burger at a great price.

Let me start off by saying this location has some minor improving to do. That being said, it’s not half bad. I came here with a few friends on the later side of the usual dinner hour(8pm). The bar was full, as was most of the restaurant. We ordered drinks from the very extensive drink menu and waited for a table. We ended up placing our food order with the bar tender just to get things moving. I ordered the west coast burger(avocado, fried egg, Kalamata olive mayo) with disco fries(smothered in gravy and cheese sauce). The burger was good, but over cooked since I ordered it «pink» and it came out well done. No burger should be well done. My friend got a Baja burger which she said was super spicy, but she loved that. The 2 others split a chicken tender appetizer that they engulfed. Service was good, with both waiters and bar tenders helping. The space itself isn’t gigantic, but they made the most of the space. Outside seating was for drinks only since they have yet to receive a permit for outdoor dining(hopefully they’ll get it before summer is over!) Cons are the burgers being over cooked and the outdoor seating not being available for dining.

This the the first Plan B burger I have gone to and I am in love. The menu online does not have prices’ which meant«Oh god these will be expensive burgers.» Burgers are around $ 10 each with some going up towards $ 12-$ 13. Anyways, my group ordered the lobster sliders, blue chips, and the beer battered shrimp as the appetizers. The quality of the lobster is top notch, especially for a burger place. The blue chips, as simple as they sound, were absolutely amazing and will totally be ordered next time. The beer battered shrimp was the table favorite for appetizers(the shrimp are small but so flavorful) I ended up ordering the Philisteak burger on a pretzel roll with the parmesan fries. I have eaten many burgers; this is, so far, the best burger I have had in my life. The fries were good, but after eating half I got bored of the cheesy taste. Oh, did I mention they constantly give you pickle chips for the table? Yeah, this place kicks ass. Nery J, the waiter is the only one I would trust to take my order. He knows his shit from A-Z.

Make Plan B Your Plan A This is a burger joint with a heart and a whole lot of bourbon. Plus, a full bar, local-craft beer on tap, wine on tap and even adorable wee pink cans of sparkling, white wine that come with their own telescoping straw. The bar is a fun place to wait for a table, refresh yourself if parched, or have a full meal. The best news is Cat(Bartender extraordinaire) is back in Fairfield where she belongs and is as wonderful as ever. She is a proper mixologist and if you haven’t had her«Older Old Fashioned» you haven’t yet lived. It comes with Jim Beam Rye which is delicious, but there are a million other premium options. The burgers are top notch, and those who know me, know that’s a very important factor. The meat is fresh ground each day and come with endless toppings and combinations of toppings. with or sans bun. The fries were good, but those disco tots were out-of-this-world. I am going to be dreaming of them often. We also had the delectable mini chili dogs. It is another appetizer option out of which you can make a meal. The service was flawless. The restaurant appeared to have the well-tuned hum of an operation celebrating their 10th Anniversary. Despite their unfortunate(and all too common for those of us with cable) troubles with Cablevision/Optonline they still rolled out one heck of a spread. You will love the snappy, casual décor. The ironic use of meat hooks for lighting sounds macabre, but is pulled off with utter charm. There is also an outdoor area for noshing al fresco – my favorite Al, by the way. You will have a hard time complaining, or finding something you love on the menu. The staff is up to speed. The drink options are endless. What else can you ask for?(and don’t say a box of $ 20s) Enjoy!
