I came to Archie Moore’s all the time as a kid and just got back for the first time in a few years. They have the BEST buffalo wings, so it’s pretty much a sin not to get them while you’re here. They also have a ton of other buffalo-inspired dishes, like buffalo chicken dip, buffalo chicken burger, sandwich, wrap, buffalo chicken egg rolls, buffalo chicken nachos, you get the idea. For a buffalo fanatic like myself, this place is heaven. I’m a sucker for some good bar food and this is pretty much as good as it gets. The menu is really extensive and the food is just excellent, I’ve never been disappointed. In addition, they have a cool bar area that’s great for grabbing a few beers!

The food here is gross and the quality is terrible and the service is really inconsistent. Sorry, that was harsh but true. I’ve gotten sick from this food twice now so it has been officially blacklisted as far as I am concerned. And I’m not the only one, other people I’ve gone here with have also gotten sick, now I know it’s not a food sensitivity of mine. It’s just gross and not worth the discomfort. Plenty of other way better places in Fairfield if you’re looking for bar food that won’t make you ill. I think a beer is benign and impossible to screw up so a definite safer alternative to ordering anything off of that menu is to just drink

If I could put zero stars I would. I am bewildered by the complete lack of respect and regard for their customers(another local business). For future reference, when messing up someones order and forgetting to put something in the bag, do not tell the customer they are wrong when calling to let you know. Beyond forgetting/leaving out a part of our order, the food was nothing to rave about. I wouldn’t recommend archie moores fairfield to my worst enemy. The wings were dry, i specifically asked for sauce on the side. not included in the bag. The spicy calamari had almost no sauce on it and was FILLED with peanuts on the bottom of the tray.(nice filler) My co-workers and I will never, ever order from Archie Moores again. Waste of money.

Great place. Service is excellent. Extensive menu. Kids love it. Food is flavorful — really good. If you are looking for a place that is casual, no perks, comfortable and good — Archie Moore’s is a go!

My wife and I, along with another couple, dined here about a week or so ago. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which was very good — followed by the buffalo chicken nachos and then just some buffalo wings. While they are known for their wings, we felt the dip and nachos were the stars of this experience — and we would highly recommend them to others.

Best chicken wings in town. And around the area. The loaded nachos are also really great too. My kids love the burger bites. As far as bar food goes– you can’t go wrong.

The best! The wings and food are only surpassed by the great people that work there. Great family atmosphere and great food. Nice quiet place to watch a game too.

I’ve been going to Milford and Derby places for years they both have added a few more flavors of wings. For those of you that complain about only 1 flavor the original«Buffalo» wing had only 1 flavor.

Everyone always says to come here for wings, best wing spot in town they say. They why is there only one flavor? and its not anything i couldnt make at home from the freezer. rest of the menu is like a TGIF pretty crap. hey its your wallet. update: 9÷17÷2015, came with some friends ordered 14 wings, totaled to $ 17.50, that’s over a dollar a wing, I was shocked never ever coming here again

A solid choice in downtown Fairfield. My boyfriend and I were getting the Metro North into the city and had an hour or so to kill before our train, and wanted some cheaper-than-Manhattan fare. We chose Archie Moore’s and sat out on the quiet patio on a Friday afternoon. I had the barbecue chicken wrap, which had chicken tenders slathered in sweet sauce, and he had the Mac and Cheese burger, a burger patty with a hunk of mac and cheese on top. Both were tasty and indulgent– not to mention affordable. In fact, he said it was the best meal he ate during our weekend trip to NYC– quite an accomplishment!

Probably don’t need to even post this, but needless to say, the wings are fantastic! Wish they had a better selection of craft beers…

I’ve been coming to Archie Moore’s since I was a kid and it never fails to deliver. With the best wings in Connecticut and maybe even the world, it keeps us coming back. We make it a priority to go when ever in Connecticut. While they have a few locations throughout the state, the one in Fairfield is the place for the quintessential Archie Moore’s experience of awesome wings and great company.

Great bar to watch the game Not fancy but real good food. Very hard to eat low calorie however plenty of vegetarian and fish options. Known for the buffalo calamari, I hear better than the wings. Great service and plenty of seats near one of the TVs.

I have lived in Fairfield for years. Been to Archie’s a ton over that time, but went tonight and noticed they recently upgraded– new tables, chairs, booths, and even the menu. The menu changes were immediately rewarding. Namely, lots of new burger options. I got the raspberry peppercorn burger with bison meat… One of the most flavorful burgers I can remember eating in a long, long time. A total wow factor. Pulled pork nachos were superb. The wings are great… But I don’t believe they are the ‘best’. Really liked the additions/upgrades and will continue to dine at Archie’s.

Been coming to Archie’s for a long time now. The wings ONCEWERE the best. Now they’re overpriced and the lack of quality or sauce makes them a major disappointment. Service is extinct too, sorry folks but at least act like you enjoy working there. NOT the great sports bar w/half price wings & pitchers this place once was.

Upon walking into this pleasantly located establishment, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who was more than delighted to seat us outdoors. Shortly after being seated, we were given menus(already knowing that we wanted their world famous buffalo chicken wings) and ordered two beers off of the tap. We received our beers and smiled, pleased at how important we felt as out waitress asked if we were ready to order. At this point we ordered 21 wings and a quesadilla and five minutes later we’re served. As my teeth sunk into the first wing, I felt as if I myself was the king of the world. I thought to myself, «Anyone fortunate enough to eat like this should be named king.» I then looked across the table to see my date feeling the same emotions. At the end of our journey through heaven, we received the bill and noticed our wings were half off because it was before 7pm. I recommend this place if you are looking for a quick and delicious eat at a reasonable price. GOARCHIEMOORES!

TWOWORDS: PIGNACHOS! Ok so yes they are pulled pork nachos but they were simply amazing. Never had anything like it. I have been to other Archie Moore locations and haven’t been super impressed. The food is good but the atmosphere and service underwhelming. I stopped in before a concert and the place wasn’t busy. There are multiple tv in the bar area, of course all of them on World Cup matches. But I didn’t care I wasn’t there to see soccer. I ordered this blue Hawaiian drink which was good, flavorful, and enjoyable. As I was scouting the menu I noticed the pig nachos which I had to order and wow, they were just awesome. So I ate most of them and took the rest home, and they were still good the next day! Since I have had the buffalo wings before and haven’t been impressed I skipped them. The service was ok, and the atmosphere typical for a local sports bar.

The wings were a 9! A bit over sauced but they didn’t try to reinvent the wheel! I told Peter we’d rate him a 10. Even though he didn’t know what« Unilocal» was ! Now that’s LOCAL!

I’m really surprised to read that Archie Moore’s is the«best wings ever» and«best in CT.» Those accolades must be a little outdated. Or I’m just picky. As far as I can tell, the wings are fried, then buffalo sauce is poured over them as they sit on the plate, and delivered in a messy lake of sauce. At least take the time to toss them in the sauce — wings are messy enough as it is without them dripping all over the place. And why only two drumsticks in a fourteen piece plate? I get drumsticks are better — so at least give us close to half and half! The pizza was Archie’s redemption. Homemade flakey crust, lots of cheese, and delicious chicken sausage(which I’ve never had before but it’s good!) Service is just ok. If you don’t get a seat at the bar or a table, there really is not much option as far as standing spots, unless you don’t mind being asked to move all night. Blah — I’m sure I’ll be back because it’s one of the sports bars in Fairfield, and right next to the train, but I’m not sure I’ll ever love it.
