It was interesting to read another’s review about being ignored because the same thing happened to me today. I have never experienced anything like it. I walked in to get a gift card. I chose one and got in line behind a customer who had some sort of gaming console in front on him. He was looking something up on his phone. The only employee in the store was behind the counter just looking down. I got behind the guy looking at his phone and continued to wait. And wait. And wait. It appeared that perhaps the customer and the guy behind the counter were trying to research something. But it was terribly awkward to be standing there waiting to pay and to not even be looked at or acknowledged. The store worker should have smiled and me and said, «Hello. I’ll be right with you.» But no. He just kept staring at the desk. It was so odd. It was like I didn’t exist! So I sighed and tossed the gift card and left the store. Still no acknowledgement, no apology. I will never shop at that location again. Someone needs to teach that worker some manners.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a video game store. I went on my lunch break to purchase a controller I was ignored for the entire 30 minutes. No lunch and had to go back to work hungry. I wasn’t even acknowledged until I had already been in the store 20 minutes. Save yourself the trouble and purchase online

Staff is helpful, and the store has an excellent selection. Can’t go wrong with Fairfield Gamestop

My son loves this place, and I like it too when the price is right. Selection of pre-owned games is pretty good, and that’s the main reason we go.
