And I HATE going to the dentist. But the staff here make me feel better about going and getting my teeth taken care of.

Awesome place, super friendly and customer service focused. Alicia, Faboila, Alana and the rest of the staff were polite and very professional. Very comfortable and welcoming environment. I am very happy that Unilocal directed me to this establishment. I had a total of 7 fillings replaced and had it all done in a reasonable amount of time while having my comfort being taken into account. I definitely recommend this business and I would most likely bring my children here as well. Lastly, not only do they call you to confirm or remind you of your upcoming appointment, but follow up on your health after any work that had been done. I am very happy with the work done on me.

I always get nervous on dentist appointments. I got a scaling and root planning done and I have heard and read stuff about how painful it is but I completely overreacted! Luana is the hygienist who did my procedure and she is just the sweetest and my procedure was pain free! The staff in this place is so friendly and welcoming and they make sure you are taking care of! My family goes here and we love it!

I was trying to get a appointment for a tooth that needed to be treated, they told me I had to wait two weeks to be treated even after telling them I was in a lot of pain. Never got a call back and there staff had no compassion in the slightest. I will not be bringing my family of 7 to them. If they did this to me how would they treat my children!!!

The dentist and staff are quite personable overall. However, the care is based on a bait-​and-​switch philosophy.
Sure, $ 59 to get you through the door… but that price is only for your first visit. Then comes the upcharge «recommendations», which in my case became requirements for any future service. Plus, future standard cleanings are well over $ 100 each visit.
After the initial exam the dentist said that she could not continue to give me a standard cleaning, which is all I wanted, without going through a procedure in excess of $ 2000 to «root plane» my teeth and various other related procedures.
She openly refused to treat me further with standard cleanings for «legal and ethical reasons». No amount of reasoning or discussion would sway her opinion. Just clean my teeth was all I asked.
I am retired, on a limited income, have no dental insurance, am 70 years old, and, because of medical issues, have lived 15 years beyond expectation. My teeth are not bad, no cavities but a couple of medium deep pockets (6mm) and they have been that way for 40 years.
Other dentists have had absolutely no problem with a standard cleaning of my teeth every six months. They have kept an eye on the pockets with each visit. Through careful home care, the pockets have actually become less deep.
Had my regular dentist not retired and the replacement dentist had not been a «proactive», (aka «looking for profitable problems») rather than a «reactive» dentist, I would not be searching for a new dentist.
I cannot recommend a dentist whose professional behavior is akin to a car salesperson.

This is a newer and well-​equipped office with very nice people working there. My word of advice is that if you have Delta Care dental insurance that you bring your benefits handbook with you to compare what they propose and what it will cost you. I didn’t and paid almost twice the amount for two crowns, that were not on the «Benefits and Co payments» Delta handbook’s list of fees, based on the recommendation from the dentist. My bad!

Yes, we finally found a dental office in Fairfield that we are satisfied and happy with! This dental office is fairly new, so the office and everything is new and clean. The ladies at the front office are very friendly and knowledgable. What I like about this place is how family oriented it is. Dr Joyce is very professional and kind. For our first visit here, we were able to schedule our appointments at the same time and they sat the three of us next to each other. To calm the nerves of my 8 year old daughter, they opened the sliding wall so that she could see the dentist clean my teeth before working on hers. And I don’t know of what other dental office has this but each chair has its own tv/​monitor where not only can the dentist show us the pictures of our teeth but we can watch tv while we are being worked on!!! Also they are very thorough about what will be worked on and if there is additional charges that your insurance will not cover. This is a huge plus for me because at our prior dental office, we were always hit with hidden fees. I am so happy and relieved that we finally found a permanent dental office close to home.

Dr Chris and his staff are great! We are always greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome. They communicate with my child on his level and are extremely efficient.

I was working with a Dentist who used to work at this clinic, and he made a promise that he could not keep. Then he left this clinic. I posted a bad review in Unilocal,and the DDS that replaced him made good on his failed promise. I was impressed by their willingness to work things out with me. I may add more to this review when I get some work done there

This is a new Dentist for me, selected because it was the only office relatively near me on the Delta Dental plan that had consistently positive reviews. Everyone here is pleasant and for the most part efficient. They guided me through the enrollment procedure and eventually helped me find the place — it’s tucked behind the supermarket, not an obvious location. My Doctor was Joyce Pangilinan and she did both my initial exam and cleaning. She was efficient, and thankfully not too chatty. Her manner is probably better suited to kids than an old guy like me. I’m sure after an hour together she knows nothing more about me than the state of my teeth — I’m not unhappy about that. The exam was not as thorough as I have had with other dentists. But I’m not sure there was any reason for it to be, since I didn’t have any pressing issues. The cleaning feels good and the polishing was done by her assistant, a very nice woman with the unfortunate (at least in a dentist office) last name of Payne. The office is nondescript, but appears to have all of the latest equipment. There was very little of the «pushing» for other services that I’ve experienced with some dentists. Just a mild recommendation for fluoride treatment that was not an issues when I turned it down. All told, a simple, easy experience. And I’ll be back in 6 months.

My boyfriend was just in excruciating pain because his wisdom teeth were coming in sideways. He had been putting it off as long as he could (for money reasons and no dental insurance) until he finally had to get some help.
We came into Fairfield dentists on a Tuesday for an XRay and an exam. Dr. Takher told him he needed to get his wisdom teeth out ASAP and scheduled him an appt with the oral surgeon two days later (that Thursday). We were really concerned with the financial aspect, and to our surprise Dr. Takher and dr. Chu were very accommodating. The ladies at the front desk set my boyfriend up with a dental plan and made other accommodations (like a payment plan and discounts). When we finally saw the total amount, I about cried with tears of joy. Thursday came around and my boyfriend had the best experience for his wisdom teeth removal. I am so thankful for the staff for helping out some poor twenty year olds. I cannot recommend Fairfield dentists enough! Thank you soo much to the whole staff.

Came here on a recommendation from another smiles dentistry from Vacaville. Pleasant staff, dentist, assistants, were all great to work with. We were supposed to set up some tooth extractions, insurance of course denies some of the treatment, the staff here were very accommodating, easy to talk to, and everyone wants to help. Can’t go wrong coming here, good location with a Starbucks nearby just get the teeth whitening… :)
Coming in here just remember it’s where the old Blockbuster video was (it’s a bit hidden if you’re coming from the north end).

Love, love, love our new dentist and dental office. Brand new equipment. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable. Accepts and knows our insurance policy (we have an uncommon one through our jobs). They thoroughly take care of you on your first visit, and the thoroughness continues into your subsequent visits. My husbands teeth were pretty jacked up, but through a few visits he has a beautiful smile again. I recommend this dentist office to any and all people looking for a new place to go.

I became a new patient of Dr. Takher last month, and he is awesome! He is honest and just tells you like it is. He isn’t going to let you buy into something that he doesn’t think will be beneficial for you or just plain a waste of money. His staff is also just as awesome! They are super friendly, nice, and go the extra mile. Oh and the office! Sooooo clean and updated. Lots of fancy X-​rays, monitors, and digital machines that make me as a patient feel more apart of my exam. I look forward to my follow up appointments with them.

My temporary crown came off last Friday night (today is monday). It lasted through lunch on saturday, after which it would not stay on, making eating and drinking difficult. As this was a military duty weekend, I called the emergency line to see if I could get it fixed. They said unless my gums were swollen and bleeding they couldn’t do anything, and I should come in first thing Monday morning. So I served my country on a liquid diet (not easy OR safe) and was at their door when they opened at 9 am this morning. The receptionist told me the dentist wasn’t in today and I should go to CVS for some temporary cement (of course I had already tried that on Saturday, it didn’t work and neither did toothpaste). But really? No other dentist or dental assistant can put some more temporary cement on until the dentist gets back tomorrow? They should NOT advertise they are open if they are not, and they should NOT have the emergency line tell people to come in when nobody is there to see them. In the time I have wasted trying to fix this I could have had my insurance switch me to a different office and had my crown fixed. Now I’m just 4 pounds lighter, dehydrated and exhausted and half my day wasted.
Update… I came in Tuesday morning when the dentist got back. He (and the entire staff) were very apologetic and assured me they were working with the call center to prevent the miscommunication in the future. They also gave me a sincere apology card and a $ 10 gift card to Starbucks. How can I stay mad? I wish all my negative customer service problems were fixed as quickly and sincerely as this one.

I took my kids in to see Dr. Clause at first they were really nervous but at the end left really happy. My son ended up having to get his tooth extracted and he didn’t feel anything!!! Dr. Clause was really nice and made the kids feel comfortable.
I ended up making an appointment for myself on the other side with Dr. Takher. Not having been to a dentist in a long time and knowing that I have a lot of work to get done on my teeth made me nervous. But Dr. Takher is really nice and made me feel comfortable. I recommend Dr. Clause and Dr. Takher. My family and I will definitely be coming here :)

This dentist is part of the «Smiles» group which, is a GREAT business all over California. I lived in Woodland, CA and went to the Woodland Smiles location for a few years before moving here to Fairfield. That location’s staff was superb! So, naturally I went to the Fairfield location of this business. Being military, it can be hard to understand the forms and military requirements I need to meet. But I called the office the day before my appointment to give them a heads up and they were on top of it! They knew exactly what needed to be done, the form I needed, and the info they needed to forward to the Active Duty insurance company. I am VERY impressed and it relieved some anticipated stress knowing that I didn’t have to explain it. Their office, just like the Vacaville and Woodland locations, are very clean, the staff is always very friendly and knowledgable. I strongly recommend this dentistry group!

My husband and I just had our first exam and cleaning at Fairfield dentists and look forward to continuing our dentist treatment with their group. From booking our first appt. to receiving services the whole experience couldn’t have been more pleasing. The office staff is exuberant and professional. The office is not only in a convenient location but is clean and crisp. I highly recommend giving Fairfield Dentists your business.

My son had an appointment and he was seen on the «grown up» side. It was just as good as the children’s side. The dentist is great and friendly. The financial lady is friendly and very informative. I’m really glad I found this place.

I had an awesome experience at Fairfield Dentist. Friendly staff and a modern clean facility. I had a chipped front tooth that Dr. Thakkar fixed. His work was amazing. It looks like I never had a broken tooth. I highly recommend this facility and look forward to making this my families Dentist for years to come.
