At 1:00 p.m., you’re still in your lunch rush, so you should be ready for anything. I was a bit surprised at how the place was not flowing. The manager called back to the grill area and someone gave a smart ass reply. Considering that there seemed to be two or three people back there and they weren’t getting things done, I’m surprised that they had time to reply like that. It took a while to get my double cheeseburger meal. It looked as though no one cared, which went along with how the restaurant behind the counter looked. As I sat down, there seemed to be two managers, two other employees, and two laptop computers over to the side. I thought that it was a bit unusual to have a meeting during lunch rush, but apparently one of the managers was ill and Fairfield Fire Rescue arrived to take her away. I can understand that your focus might not be on your customers at that time, but the manager behind the counter should have been able to run the show.
