Did research and found out about Dr. Hess from a magazine. During my consultation I felt very comfortable, never felt unsure. Had my Lipo in January 2015. Dr. Hess was very honest about what he could or could not do. Procedure was Thursday and I was cooking and cleaning Sunday. Results are GREAT. if I decide to have plastic surgery again this is the place to Go.

I meet with many doctors before I made my decision about having a tummy tuck.
When I met with Dr Hess I knew he would be my Dr of choice. He answered all my questions, and believe me I had many, as I been researching and thinking about having this procedure done after kids for about 5 years…
After I met with Dr Hess I scheduled surgery in 2 weeks. He is definitely an artist. I can find enough words to explain what a perfect job he did.

I’ve had many surgeries with Dr. Hess as a result of breast cancer. He is wonderful in every way. His skill is top of the line, his staff is wonderful. I feel like I’m walking into friends. A wonderful thing when dealing with such a horrible disease. I will always recommend him to everyone in need.

I’ve had consultations with other plastic surgeons.
Him and his wife are SUPER nice, and he is so educated in this field. Before I opened my mouth he told me exactly what he would do, how he would do it AND WHY. That is so important for me. He dove into so much detail about the surgery and spent an hour just talking, laughing and asking questions.

Had Botox done in his new Fairfax office. The service was average but cost much more than I had spent in the past. Office was nice and the front office staff was OK. They did try and sell me face cream ect.

Before I begin, please note this review is based on Dr. Hess NOT performing a procedure.
I have a round scar that takes up about a third of my knee. This scar has bothered me for years and it wasn’t until recently that I discovered that it might be possible to reduce the scar. My dermatologist said the scar was too large and shallow for her to remove, but referred me to Dr. Hess.
Dr. Hess’ front of office staff are polite and accommodating. I had no problem making an appointment and when I came in, they knew who I was, what I was there for and made me as comfortable as possible. There was no wait time to see the doctor, which was a pleasant surprise.
When I met with Dr. Hess he was very considerate and straightforward about my scar. He explained to me all of my options and in the end said they would all wind up leaving a larger scar or would have little effect on the size and shallowness.
In the end his recommendation was to do nothing.
I was a little disappointed, but quickly realized that he had listened to me tell the story behind the scar and how desperate I was to be rid of it and really could have sold me just about any snake oil at that moment. Instead of selling me on a procedure that would have minimal results or make the scar larger, he was honest with me and told me I would be happier to leave it as it is.
His honesty and bedside manner truly impressed me.
