Very professional office. I’ve been having laser hair removal (legs and Brazilian) and Gigi is the best! She is very thorough, takes her time to be sure she doesn’t miss any areas. I feel like she really cares about the results and isn’t just trying to make money. She knew I only had 2 sessions left in my legs, so she took the time to be even more thorough so I could get the results I wanted. I started out with a Groupon but even her regular prices are hard to beat!

I came here for a facial and microdermabrasion. I’m not great about these sorts of things although I appreciate that I need to take care of me. Periodically I try someplace or something new looking for a place I like and a system that makes sense and works for me without being overwhelming.
Well, this may be the place for me. I was able to ask questions (& get answers) without them then trying to sell me everything including a kitchen sink, or at least a part of the business. I do not respond well when I am approached with the sell sell sell attitude. Honestly, nothing gets me to shut down faster. Well these folks got it. I had my questions about what I was getting done and what I should be in the future answered and although I was given suggestions I didn’t feel like I was being pushed to commit. While I don’t think I will be returning every two weeks as was mentioned I will return within the next couple of months, perhaps making it a place I visit as the seasons change.

My friend and I bought the Groupon together for Gkocosmetics & MedSpa after much research. We decided on this place because of the existing reviews we read. A lot of places, whether for service or food tend to give a hard time when you mention a Groupon deal was purchased for their establishment, however, at Gkocosmetics, this was the smoothest transaction I’ve ever experienced.
The first time I called to book an appointment, it was a little hectic, they were overwhelmed by the interest of their Groupon deal, as Gigi did explain during my first appointment. I see this as a good thing, it shows that they really live up to the reviews other customers have given. After I got in with my first appointment in, everything after that has been a breeze. Gkocosmetics uses an online portal for the customer to login and keep track of future and past appointments which makes it so much easier to remember everything because with so many sessions, especially if you are doing multiple areas, sometimes you just can’t keep up!
The establishment is very cozy, they recently moved to a new office and the new place is equally nice. Gigi makes you feel very comfortable. I feel like she genuinely cares for my well being as she took care to really explain what to expect during and after hair removal and repeatedly told me how to care for treatment afterwards. She kept saying, «Make sure you do this and that! Vaseline is the key!» =) She is the only technician here so there is a more personalized feel with the service.
I have only done my underarms, this is the area recommended with first timers. I will be doing my third session of underarms later this week. I have noticed a difference in hair growth, the hairs take long to grow and they are thinner and less dark, I used to have to shave everyday, I could maybe slide with every other day. Now, although the hairs are still there, they are much lighter and I can slide by without shaving for maybe a week. I am sure after all of my 6 sessions, the hairs will be gone for good! I do plan on doing other areas with Gigi!

Gigi did a great job. The facial was a very relaxing experience. She had just moved to a new space, but it is already very serene.

Of all the places I researched for laser hair removal, I decided to go to Gkocosmetics because Gigi had over 100 customers rating her 100% on Groupon. I decided to buy the 6-​session package on Groupon and have to say I’m extremely happy I chose to go here.
Setting a date for the first appointment was a bit difficult, but like another person said, good places stay pretty booked. I’m sure all her clients do what I do and pre-​book all their sessions on a 4 – 6 week schedule to ensure they get on her calendar. If you’re able to book pretty an appointment easily, you’re probably going to a place with a few different technicians and will be getting a new one every time. I personally like to have the same person treating me in case they need to tweak something specifically for my needs.
When I met Gigi for my *first ever* laser hair removal session in May, the room was inviting and clean. She read over my file and explained the process to set my expectations for results. She was very professional and understanding of my questions/​concerns.
I chose to go with underarms for my first area and want to say the hair has decreased about 40−50% after just one session. FYI, it take 1 – 3 weeks for hair follicles to fall out.
I plan on doing some other areas, but will wait until summer’s over because sun exposure will mess up our skin pigmentation. (I don’t want to end up spotted like a giraffe!) Gigi provides excellent service, I’m a happy customer and have referred her to my friends.

I’ve been going to this place for more than a year now for my microdermabrasion (every month treatment) — my face is getting smoother now .Gigi is so nice to her clients. Her place is always smell good and clean. If u want to have a glowing and beautiful face — I will recommend the GKOCOSMETIC.

I’ve had the two laser hair removal session here so far. Gigi is absolutely wonderful. She is very caring and conscientious of her clients. The place is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Another reviewer mentioned that when scheduling her first appointment, she couldn’t get in for another month. I called many other places for last hair removal and have been to a few other spas, and none of the decent places had openings for at least another month either. That’s how it is most everywhere.

I called trying to schedule an appointment and was told I couldn’t get an appointment for over a month which is an unreasonable amount of time. Also, the receptionist was extremely rude and they give the impression they don’t care about customer service. Why would I want to come to a place that so clearly doesn’t care about making their customers a priority?

i’am so glad that i found this place i’ve been seeing Gigi for the past 5 months and i’am always pleased with the service ‘she is knowledgeable and professional and the place is very clean and cozy, this will be the only place to go for my microdermabrasion.

Great experience. Gigi is very professional, caring and provides good advice on the best skin care treatments for you. I would go again.
