Dr. Mihalache has been my primary care physician for the past … I think 7 years.
She is so great, I come back from NYC for my appointments (and let me tell you, I hate the bus). I refuse to change doctors… until I switch my insurance to NY :(
She is a pro. A phenomenal listener, she knows which questions to ask and has correctly diagnosed me EVERY single time. I found her online after another doctor failed to diagnose my middle ear infection and I was in a lot of pain.
After my first wonderful year with her, I converted both my parents to Dr. Mihalache and our whole family loves her attention to detail and distinctive patient care.
She goes above and beyond for her patients, and has even answered my questions over the phone while I was in New York and pointed me in the right direction to seek a specialty doctor here or get the correct prescription for my symptoms.
The office itself is clean and spacious, and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

I have been a patient of Dr, Mihalache for many years not. She is the best. She makes room for same day appointments and time for you when you are there. No long waits and great hours of operation. I recommend her to all my friends.

The 2 bad reviews on here should be completely ignored. Dr. Mihalache is a great doctor. She knows her stuff and is very cautious and proactive in the care of her patients. She is very direct and quick and there’s never a wait. She will also take the time to call you herself in case of an emergency. I keep going to her when I can even after the fact that I now live an hour away!

I went to Star Family Medicine for a few years after college. I really liked Dr. Mihalache. She’s quick and efficient, but does take time to really listen and analyze any health problems.
She also sat me down to discuss some anxiety issues I was struggling with when she didn’t have to. The only reason I had to give her up was because they stopped taking my insurance. I wish I could go back!

Dr Mihalache is the best! She has been our family doctor for six years and we all trust her to give us the finest care. She stays up-​to-​date on all the latest developments in healthcare. Through several crises, she has shown her compassion and knowledge.

I’ve had only positive experiences at Star Family Medicine. You get one on one attention, and the nurses/​staff are always polite and helpful. Definitely would recommend!

I could not be more disappointed with this practice and Dr. Mihalache. They care more about making a buck and charging exorbitant amount for office visits, than actually caring for their patients.
I’ve been coming here for 5+ years and am finally done, I should have made the decision to switch my PCP a long time ago.

I used to love Dr. Mihalache and her staff. They used to be very thorough and attentive. I’ve gone to her for a few years and have recommended other people to her as well. Recently she bought a larger practice, just across the parking lot. She now sees more patients in the same amount of time, with the same amount of staff. The attention to detail has gone down the drain since. If you are truly sick, she still pays attention. However, unless you are in significant discomfort or pain, their new goal seems to be to get you out the door as soon as possible. They don’t run all of the basic preventative tests that they should during physical exams anymore either like they used to. The communication between staff is horrible too. Now when I show up for an appointment they don’t even remember why I’m there, even though I gave them a brief history over the phone, no notes were taken. Dr. Mihalache is constantly forgetting which medications I am allergic to now too (she always remembered before). I hate that I’m giving them such poor reviews, because they used to be so wonderful. I think Dr. Mihalache has taken on more than anyone person should handle with the larger practice and I no longer recommend her.

I am a very impatient person and this place is great! The staff is friendly and Dr. Mihalache does not keep you waiting. She is always on time :).

I’ve been here numerous times for different reasons. I can confidently say Dr. Mihalache has expertise in many fields from everything she’s helped me with. She is nice and listens to your concerns. I think the entire staff is great as well. I’ve never met any unpleasant staff there. It’s definitely a good idea to schedule in advance, but I’ve also been able to get a same day appointment when I called in the morning. The only reason why I deducted a star is because it can get busy there sometimes and Dr. Mihalache is the only physician. So she might seem a bit stressed out and rushing in and out. Honestly, as someone who’s seen many many physicians in life due to moving around frequently, I really think Star Family Medicine is one of the best places I’ve been to.

Dr. Mihalache and her staff are as good as they get!
