I was blown away with the responsive and personable service I received from PJ. Our Kenmore Elite front load dryer was making loud thumping noises and we thought it was a bad belt. As it turns out, the drum had cracked (likely due to our sons’ football pants with attached belts!). When he came out to diagnose the issue, he charged a small $ 59 fee which was deducted from the follow up visit.
PJ ordered a new drum and within a week came back to finish the job. Unfortunately, he noticed the drum he just installed was warped so he removed it, and had to place the old cracked drum back in while we waited for a replacement. PJ apologized for the inconvenience, but he was honest and sincere. It took an additional 2.5 weeks for the part to arrive since it was coming directly from the manufacturer, but it was worth it.
Honest, polite, and a genuinely respectful business owner. If any of our other appliances break, PJ will be our go-​to guy!!!

The owner, PJ, was here for 30 minutes and probably would have replaced my icemaker sooner had I not been asking him so many questions. Regardless, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and was very willing to explain the repairs he was doing. His prices were better than several other places I called and his customer service was excellent. Make Expert Appliance Services your go-​to for appliance repairs of all types.

We had a constantly-​leaking dishwasher, and a dishwasher door that was dangerous because it slammed open (instead of slowly opening … we have two young daughters who get into everything, so was imperative to fix this!).
P.J., the technician, arrived right in the middle of his 9 – 11 a.m. window, and called right before he arrived. It took him only about 10 minutes to explain the dishwasher’s issues, and he quoted me a (very reasonable) price immediately after explaining. He had all the parts he needed to make the fix, and was calm and focused, even as I worked on my laptop in the kitchen and my kids darted around the house. All in all, it took him only about 45 minutes, from quote to payment, to get the job done.
While I’m not a fan of needing things fixed, the next time we have appliance issues, P.J. and Expert Appliance will be our go-​to!

We have used Expert Appliance Services, both PJ and Sam, for a number of years for dishwasher, refregerator, and range repairs. One of the best aspects of this business is most often same day service is provided at no extra cost! If a second visit is required due to a part there’s a call from them. Many times the second visit with correct part happens the same day. They are always economical, respectful, punctual, knowledgeable, clean, and competent.

Technician was courteous and on time. He diagnosed the problem quickly and it was fixed.

Our fridge wasn’t working, so we saw Expert Appliances reviews and called. Pj was very courteous and scheduled a visit for the very next day. He also calls you half hour before he arrives, which is awesome. He did an excellent job in fixing the fridge and his pricing was very reasonable. We had to call him back since the freezer drawer seemed a little funny and he came back immediately to take a look. He fixed it and was super nice about it, which is so refreshing as we have dealt with bad appliance repair folks in the past. My husband and I will definitely recommend him to our friends and family!

Great service and a good price from Sam and Expert Appliance Services. Our refrigerator suddenly started running hot, and I put out a request for a quote to six companies late in the evening. Expert responded quickly, and by the next afternoon Sam was on site, replacing an inoperative condenser. Sam even followed up with my wife that evening to make sure the temperature in the refrigerator has dropped back to normal temperature.

PJ is why the term «above and beyond» was created. Seriously one of the best experiences we have ever had with a repair company or contractor. We contacted him to fix an issue with a double oven for a tenant. He gave a window of 10AM-​1PM and arrived in the early part of the window, calling 30 minutes before arriving. He was sure to keep his work area clean and treat our tenants’ home with care. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was straightforward about pricing. It was a different issue than what he originally thought but he was able to get the part and fix everything on the same day (a Saturday, no less). He had to run out and pick up the part but kept us and our tenants informed every step of the way; he was very sensitive to the fact that our time was valuable.
Wish we could clone this guy, but until that is possible, he definitely has earned our future business for appliance repair. Highly recommended.
Side Notes: The company is open 7 days a week. He accepts Visa, Mastercard, and checks.

Wonderful experience! I called about our 3-​year-​old Whirlpool icemaker not working and was offered an appointment the next day. PJ arrived, took the icemaker out and was able to tighten and reset it in a matter of minutes. I recommend this firm and would call again if I had problems with appliances. Agree with other reviewers that he was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient!

Excellent service! Called Sunday morning as my fridge was not cooling properly and PJ came over within the hour. Diagnosed the issue within minutes and had the replacement part available and changed everything out. Very polite and professional. Good to go!

Excellent service! Got appointment one day after calling/​emailing.
Pj arrived on time and diagnosed multiple problems with several appliances in seconds. Not minutes– seconds! He gave honest advice not to repair (replace instead) fridge and dishwasher and replaced a garbage disposal on the spot! He even adjusted dryer door at no charge. Job well done and a reasonable price.

On a Friday evening, we discovered our washing machine would not spin. I called and made an appointment for someone to come look at it on Saturday afternoon. The technician that came out quickly diagnosed the problem and offered to go get the parts he needed to fix it the same day or return Sunday to fix it. We opted for later Saturday. He worked late into the evening making sure to get our machine working. Sam, you did a great job, thank you for your dedication to your profession and fixing our washing machine.

These guys are awesome. Despite that fact that our dryer broke down late Christmas Day, Sam was here the next day to fix it. He was friendly and put up with our jumpy dog and the fact that the dryer had numerous problems that required him to make several trips for parts. He was patient, super polite, and incredibly friendly. He cleaned everything up very nicely too (I think he left the laundry room in better shape than when he got there). We even hugged him goodbye. What a decent guy. We’ll be sure to use his company from now on.

I was given their name by one of my best clients who always has great contractors up her sleeve. We’ve now used them 3 times for 1) our wine fridge, 2) our ice-​maker in our kitchen, and now 3) our extra refrigerator in our basement. All 3 times, they were able to schedule an appointment very quickly, were on time, and fixed the problem — AND at a reasonable price. They showed me exactly what the problem was, as well as tested to make sure everything else was working OK, which it was. They are trustworthy, quick, professional and helpful. Fast service… The technician called to ask if he can come earlier! Perfect for me! He had the part on board and easy peasy, the dishwasher was fixed! No more stinky backed up water smell! I tell ya, LIFE IS GOOD!

I can’t say enough good things about PJ and his team. I have used them 4 times now: today (December 8, 2014) for a washing machine repair and 3 other times for various appliances since 2011. Every single time it’s a positive experience. It’s easy to make a service appointment (I think all have been the same day I called). They show up on time and they have evening times (after 5 PM) available at no extra charge. Two of the times he determined that no repair was necessary (just a small adjustment) and charged me only for a service call. He offers an Angie’s list discount (and if you have Angie’s list you can see all of his positive ratings there).
