Elevation Burger

I recently got a coupon for this place and had never been, so decided a free burger was worth the trip over. Having never been there I spent a minute looking at the menu when I arrived. The girl behind the counter, who was the manger, was very impatient and not friendly at all or trying to sell me on anything, even after I told her it was my first time there.
I almost said forget it, but I was already there and was hungry and had a coupon. The burger and fries came quickly, within 15 minutes, but there was no offer or service in the delivery. They didn’t have ketchup, etc. out and didn’t offer it when they delivered the food.
The burger was great — seriously the best fast casual burger I’ve ever had. The fries were greasy and I wouldn’t get them again, but overall the worst part was the service.
I would come to get a burger to go again from this chain, but probably not at this location.

Not your normal burger joint. If you don’t see what you want you can create your own, multiple patties, dozen or so free toppings a few premium ($) toppings. Also have veggie burgers gluten burger, chicken sandwich, salads. Also have shoestring fries. You can get them as cheese fries also. Milkshakes and malts also served. They have coke soda machine plus have some bottle drinks (honest teas). My bbq bacon cheddar (grilled onions) burger (2 patties) was greasy and bacon was hard as rock. Fries were also greasy some were crispy others seemed to be slightly under cooked. Some of the tables had napkin dispensers others did not. Every table had a ketchup bottle. Food is served on little metal trays covered with piece of wax paper. Little pricey if you get a soda or shake. If you want water given small plastic cup. They also offer wheat buns or lettuce wrap if you don’t want the toasted potato roll that is standard on their burger. If you get there before the lunch rush food is served in a few mins. Service was ok, order taker was pleasant. Only saw 2 people working, seems a little short staffed to me. Not sure if would go when busy.

What’s more American than a burger? Nothing. What’s the most American type of cheese? American. Does this place put the most American type of cheese on the most American type of food? No. I guess this place is run by a bunch of communists… but they make decent fries.

poor food. This place used to be fine but maybe the cook has been replaced, burgers are full of oil and the buns are soaked wet and oily. More worse is the waitress who takes orders, she is very impolite and makes you feel you are not welcomed.

I really wanted to like Elevation Burger, however, it was not good. Thought the burger was overpriced and felt nickel-​and-​dimed over toppings. My husband was underwhelmed by his meal too. Mentioned our experience to some friends and they said they had the same experience. Had a family member house sit for us and they tried Elevation Burger while in town. Guess what we heard about when we got home? The lousy, expensive meal they had.

I went and they had very good service some guy before me was complaining about the lettuce and tomato at the end of the burger and I wondered why he didn’t just flip the burger. I don’t know if this was dumb or funny but I enjoyed the day besides getting a good burger I realized how dumb some people can be.

I was disappointed with my burger experience at this location. The wife and I ordered the Original two pattie burger and it was a mess to eat because it was full of grease and lacked any real flavor. The fries were average at best, some burnt some just a soggy mess. I use to love their burgers but the chain has gone downhill it seems. We ended up going to another burger joint to get our fix.

Wow… I’m amazed that I have to give this place two stars. The whole restaurant is starting to go downhill. When I last came here I expected this place to be much better than it is now. The cashier was not the nicest person in the world and not that helpful when I asked questions. I got my burger and I was not impressed with it. It was mediocre and, when compared to Five Guys, I would rather pick them than Elevation! The dining area was not clean when I came. It was very neglected. Overall, my experience was not the best. I would not recommend coming to this place unless you enjoy a mediocre burger.

Wasn’t the «quick «lunch I was expecting. Took 17 minutes to get my burger, but that being said, it was a great burger! The sweet potato fries were yummy too!

Excellent customer service! Will love to eat here again! The manager really wants the customers to be happy.

The food is very good and comes out quickly. If you just ask for your food and leave you will 99% of the everything will be ok. If you have to talk to a manager about something or if something isn’t clean or is wrong and you talk to the manager forget about it. She’s like the owners daughter and is about 16 and knows nothing about running a business.

The burgers are 100% beef and cooked after you order it. I waited almost 15 minutes for a small cheeseburger and it was okay, nothing special. I might go back and try something else.

I love this place.
Price is fair.
Food is fresh and delicious.
The staff is professional and quick.
What more u can ask for in a burger joint.

Came here while waiting for my tires to be fixed. Always had been wanting to come here now I have a reason to stop by. The grass fed beef has a better taste. Service was swift, cook to order. You have the option of ordering without the bun if you are counting carbs.

This place is awesome. The food is great, it’s not often crowded, and the service is quick and friendly. Hands down – I can’t think of a way to make this place better.

Great organic burgers, hand cut fries and hand scooped milkshakes. Love the food, service isn’t super fast, but food is cooked to order. They will make a lettuce wrapped burger if you wish to not eat bread or if you cannot eat bread. We go to this restaurant about once every couple of weeks. Recommend giving it a try.

I’m usually not a picky guy. Hearing raves and reviews about Elevation Burger from co-​workers who testified the deliciousness that is Elevation Burger. Decided it was time to give it a perpetual try. Here are my pros and cons.
Pros
1) The fries are cooked in olive oil, so that itself is a testament to the chain striving to be healthier.
2) Their burgers are ‘organic,’ not positively sure if that’s accurate. But the burger was cooked okay, and the cheese definitely added flavor.
3) The milkshakes are to DIE for! I thought only a select restaurants could dare test my beloved Fuddruckers shake, but this is pretty close!
4) Isn’t too expensive for your wallet, and the portions are good enough to satisfy any barbarian.
This is where we stroll into the cons.
Cons
1) What is with the shoe string fries? Cooking them in heavy olive oil gives them a soft and greasy texture.
2) Sharp cheddar is very overwhelming, and rides the flavor of the beef.
3) While it isn’t expensive, the food itself isn’t certainly worth the cost.
I would go back and visit if I was in the mood, but this is one of those places on the bottom of my list.

Elevation gets my rating at 4 start since the fries are that good. The burger itself is done well and given all of the choices available, anyone can find the right combination. I like the simplicity of the menu and if you are looking for a shake to go with those fries, they can certainly hook you up there.
But the fries are worth the trip. Smaller in size than other places, they must inject them with some secret ingredient. Whatever it is, it worked.

I like Elevation Burger. I like the fact that use grass fed beef. I’ve been to a few in the area but this location by far I’ve received the best service. Sometimes a friendly smile and warm greeting goes a long way (hint hint other Elevation Burger locations aka National Harbor – ya’ll can use some customer service 101 from this location here).
Burgers are always good every time I order. I was a little taken back that the jalapenos were the ones from the jar. Even five guys uses fresh jalapenos. But whatever. The burger itself is still delicious. Fries are a hit or miss. Sometimes they come out crispy and yummy and sometimes they come out soggy and limpy.
I will always stop by if I am in the area. Thanks to the awesome staff and to the owner/​management who shows that it isn’t just about good food, but service as well. You guys got it right. =)

Whoa, why all the hate?
The staff is extremely friendly, the burgers are very reasonably priced (especially with all the organic/​natural ingredients they use). And they have a Coke Remix machine just like any 5 Guys.
I don’t know what day you all went on, but I’d go back to Elevation Burger in a heart beat.
