History

Established in 2006.

Budget Maids started off with a single office in Maryland in 2006, then launched our Fairfax VA office in 2008 to accommodate the growth in Northern Virginia and Washington DC.

We are locally owned, and not part of a franchise which makes it a lot easier to work around our «neighbors» house cleaning budgets and not have the worry of franchise fees, etc.

All of our Cleaning Specialists are covered under our liability insurance coverage, and they would come to each home in a company vehicle and fully uniformed. We use eco friendly cleaning chemicals, and bring our own equipment. This way, the home owner is not expensed by having to provide additional supplies.

More than 54% of our regular customers leave a house key with us for access as they trust us due to our long standing relationship. We also offer a service guarantee should there be any issue with our service.

After having an extensive career in the information technology (IT) world, my wife and I decided to get into the residential cleaning business. We had various maid services come to our home in the past, but thought there must be a more efficient way to do this service.

We started building relationships with various professional sporting organizations in the area, and go our start with the athletes.

We are now one of the larger independently owned cleaning services in the DC Metro area where there is lots of competition. We try to deferential ourself by being fairly priced, and provide above and beyond service.
