Ben & Jerry’s

Good ice cream.
Slow service but nice people.
They rushed to get what we ordered but than both the employees went to the back to chit chat.
It’s Ben and Jerry’s really can’t go TOO wrong. :)

I’ve been coming here for years and everyone has always been really nice but today a gentleman was extra kind to us. After getting our cones my daughter was so excited that she started skipping and tripped. Not only did she hurt herself but she dropped her cone on the ground. The same gentleman that served us happened to be outside folding the umbrellas up because it was the end of the night and saw her crying. Without a word the gentleman went back inside and remembered what she ordered and gave us another cone for free. It’s the little things like this that will make me keep coming back over and over. Thanks again to the gentleman that was so kind, you made my night.

I have always loved coming into this location before or after catching a movie with my family. So tonight after our dinner and movie we decided to treat our daughter and ourselves to a little dessert at your location. Unfortunately the young man working stated that because the store closed in 20 mins I wasn’t able to get the mango smoothie I always get. I work as a manager for a large local chain with a location in the same area. When a guest comes into my place of business with 20 minutes until closing they can order an entire full service meal. So being told something as simple as a mango smoothie could not be made peeved me. Is this really company policy with Ben & Jerry’s?

Who doesn’t love a good ol’ scoop of Ben & Jerry’s? While it’s true that my heart usually goes out to the local ice creameries in these parts (and it does still beat quite heavily for Frozen Dairy Bar’s creamy frozen custard) but every now and then, I get a craving that only Ben, Jerry, and their delightfully punny ice cream names can satisfy.
The store in Fairfax Towne Center is small but efficient, and the staff is always super friendly — not to mention patient as my visits usually involve a 3 — 4 minute staring contest with the display cases, trying to figure out which flavor direction I want to go in.
It’s usually a battle of wills between Pistachio, Pistachio and Cherry Garcia, but every now and then I stray off the path most taken and end up with a heaping conefull of Americone Dream or Caramel Sutra. I’ve literally never been disappointed with a Ben & Jerry’s flavor though. Heck, last time we went, Sean got the Triple Berry Sherbet and even that had my taste buds all a-​quiver!
You can bet that the impending arrival of summer’s blisteringly hot days will have me taking a stroll by the B&J storefront a fair few times in upcoming months. And I can’t wait.

Open in the new fairfax corner area convenient to movie theater and/​or nearby restaurants. Outdoor seating is available and right next door to Color Me Mine!
Participated in their free scoop day Monday and it was the fastest I’ve ever been through! There was a line, but it moved relatively quickly and I LoOoOooved my cheesecake brownie ice cream (cheesecake ice cream mixed with cheesecake brownie bits!).

I love the triple caramel chunk ice cream here. Why oh why did they decide to stop carrying it in the grocery store will always puzzle me… luckily I can get my fix at the Ben and Jerry’s store even though it is a little more expensive than the grocery store.

Two of the finest men in the world — why? Because they’re always there for me… through thick and thin… through tears and joy… through every single PMS-​filled day. And they always always ALWAYS can bring a smile to my face. You might ask, how is that possible? Well, let me count the ways.

3) Chocolate therapy
4) CINNAMON BUNS– oh dear god, this is pure ecstasy
5) Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz
6) Crème brûlée
7) Half baked

10) WAFFLE CONES!!! (yummy & assorted)
So, what is their one downfall that so much as takes away a star? They can be very selfish sometimes. It doesn’t make sense to me that I have to pay the same amount for one scoop in the shop as I would for one pint in the grocery store. But then again, some flavors are exclusive to the ice cream shop… like the new cinammon buns flavor, omg… sooooooooooo deliciously wonderful… mmmmm.
