After years of living in Fair Oaks and traveling through the village, I just recently discovered the Chroma Gallery. Chroma is no small town charming gallery. While the gallery does predominately feature local artist, the art is of a higher caliber than most local art vendors. The gallery features a great deal of quality works. If anything is lacking, it is that there seems to lack some variety in terms of styles. There are many scenes, but few abstracts. There are some great artists that show work in mid-town whose work I would love to see displayed out in the burbs. My wife and I discovered the gallery as a result of the Second Saturday event which the gallery participated in(one of 3 or 4 venues displaying art). Hopefully other businesses will follow suit and contribute to some Second Saturday festivities in the Village.
