Located inside of Foodland. I love coffee bean and I wish there were more locations like Starbucks. My favorite drink is the Caramel Ice blended and my daughter loves their plantation iced tea. Don’t forget to use your stamp card or ask to start one. Their free drink system is much better than Starbucks. You get«1 stamp» for every $ 1 you spend where as Starbucks you only get«1 star» per purchase, irregardless of how much your spend.

Saturday night I had stepped foot into the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location out in Ewa for the first time. I arrived at the establishment to meet up with individuals for a Meet & Greet UYE. There are tables and chairs set up for individuals who want to enjoy their drinks and relax in a quiet environment. I noticed some people were working on their homework while others were involved with their handheld games or even reading a book. The shop itself sell bags of different flavored teas, hydroflask, coffee mugs, grab & go items like parfaits, fruit salads, sandwiches, and packaged beverages. There’s a selection of pastries to choose from as well as hot or cold drinks. I had to make a decision of two different drinks: li hing lemonade or a strawberry breeze. I opted to choose the li hing lemonade to drink for the first time. One can really taste the sourness of the lemonade. There was a single li hing covered seed in the drink as well as some li hing powder on the bottom of the cup. I was informed to mix my drink in order for the li hing powder to spread throughout the drink. The temptation to order a blueberry muffin or a peanut butter chocolate brownie was there. It looked so delicious. Maybe on my next visit to Ewa I will stop by and order a pastry along with a different drink. 58⁄200

Love the atmosphere, the friendly service & their exclusive items! I also love how theyre connected to Foodland. I appreciate the complimentary WiFi, However, I always have such a hard time connecting to and staying connected to their WiFi. I always find myself having to reconnect a lot throughout my visit which is annoying. If you’re looking to come in and treat yourself to one of their specialty beverages or snacks then I’d recommend this place. But if your looking for a place to connect to a reliable & dependable internet… you won’t find that here. You’ll have better luck someplace else.

I come here on days where I don’t feel like traveling one more block to visit the green mermaid. This place is located between longs and is connected to foodland. The handful of times I’ve been here, I have not seen it packed/busy. There is usually old men hanging out inside and outside talking story and people watching. I believe these were the same ones that used to hang out at the old SB across the lot. Lol. The place is always kept clean and tidy. Drinks are always quickly made. Love their waffles heated, they are divine! Their plantation iced tea was more pineapple juice on ice with no remants of tea whatsoever. Their iced coffee is pretty good, not bitter like other places. Whenever I dont wanna travel far I’ll come here. But it’s not my first choice.

I love coming to the location because of its location, and how spacious it is. This store is located right next to Foodland and longs in the Ewa town center. The store has basically everything you need to get your day started. Such as pasteies, coffee, «frappawhatsas», and they also sell hydroflasks if you decide to purchase one. They also have a restore located in their store which is a plus for my family because for whatever reason my son always have the tendency to use the restroom when we’re out rather than using it while we’re still at home lol. Overall this store is very clean, and you have tons of space and tables to just sit and chat, or to do your homework etc.

The last time I can recall coming to this CB&TL was back in 2009, in search of a place to study for the AP exams with my friends. The service back then wasn’t the best(perhaps because we were 17-year-olds or something) and the facility was a tad dingy. Well, I’m glad I came back all these years later. They’ve made some great improvements. First, the store is amazingly clean. Sure, the floors have some loose dirt tracked in from customers, but overall, the facility is well maintained. The seating is clean(and ample), the retail is highly appealing, and the décor exudes a cozy, homey feeling. The customer service today was very nice! Barista Jeizelynn(? Sorry if you’re reading this, I couldn’t get a good visual of your tag!) was very polite in her approach, and did an excellent job with upselling and offering food in a non-pushy way(«Have you had lunch yet?»). We even had a nice little chat about red aprons, which was a nice little touch of personality. To put it simply, her customer connection was«on point». Thanks girl! My drink, the Black Forest, was as expected: Nice and chocolatey with a hint of cherry and blended coffee beans inside. Maybe I’ve been working for the Green Siren(Bux) for too long, but nothing in the Frappé realm tastes«amazing» anymore. But! What makes this bugger special is the blended coffee beans inside. That is a fantastic touch! I’ll be back, definitely — and, considering I live like five minutes away, it won’t be long from now. :)

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is underrated. It truly is. Probably not as popular as the other coffee chain and not as trendy to be walking around with a non-Starbucks cup. I happen to LOVECBTL! Their products are CONSISTENTLY good. Never burnt or old coffee. Never stale and always the right temp. This location gets really crowded starting mid-morning and throughout the day thereafter. Best time to go is early(early) in the morning. There isn’t a drive thru but what they lack in convenience is a great cup of coffee(I like mine strong, bold and an extra shot of expresso) and always excellent customer service! And like another reviewer mentioned, you won’t get too many fru-fru orders ahead of you(we all know the type, «blah…blah…blah…blah…blah in SOY pls). Their coffee stands strong alone without all the additions, deletions and substitutions. I’ve always left here completely satisfied with my cup of joe. If you happen to come during peak business hours you’ll find difficulty finding parking and seating indoors if you want to hang for a bit. There are many regulars who assume those seats for long periods of time(yea…I guess if I recognize them they recognize me too as a regular). Solid coffee! Solid customer service. Consistently CONSISTENT!

What I like about this place is that it is not too busy. I can always find a place to sit down. And it’s great if mom has to do grocery shopping with Foodland right there. She can do that while I sit down to have what ever drink I feel like. Just as reasonable as Starbucks without the larger crowd and just as good. Love the stamp card they honor. You get a stamp for every dollar you spend. Once you have 50 stamps you get your free drink. Having mom order too, and when M is with us, we get free ones quickly and received several this year. Customer service is spot on. Although there is a very high turn over, the staff has been friendly, accommodating, helpful and always tend customers first while friends could be hanging out chit chatting away. The free WIFI allows me an alternative place to hang for my coffee to get some work done or read. Sometimes it’s not working or it’s slow. I experience the same at other coffee places. I just accept it as it is what it is. Many times, though, it is working and I get what I needed done. The large table is also advantage that I can use to lay all my stuff down. The disadvantage is it is stretch to plug in for power but workable. My mom likes reading the paper there too. The pastries do not taste that special to me to warrant the higher price, and I don’t see much of it being sold. I’d rather pick something from Foodland. Overall, it’s a good place for me to come in to do what I need.

Always friendly and drinks are consistent. I like that they use language I’m familiar with in referring to cup size. The shop is a good size with free WiFi. The seating arrangements are well thought out. A few round tables just for you and a friend(or you and laptop). Lots of chairs. tho the chairs are metallic and not to comfortable after a while. Even has a large rectangle table used for various reasons. This is definitely a place to be when I’m here in Ewa Beach.

I admit when this Ewa location first opened, I was not a fan. The workers were inattentive, slow, unknowledgeable and not nearly as friendly as their competitors across the parking lot. It even prompted me to write a letter to management. To their credit, I did receive an apology and a promise to improve. Fast forward to present day. I went in twice this week and both times, I was greeted by «hellos» and smiles. I asked questions on both occasions and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Quick and efficient also come to mind. Angelika and Coleen were the two cheerful workers who helped me decide on the Arnold Palmer tea yesterday(which was refreshingly good btw) and all I can say, is they have done a complete turn around at this CBTW. Congratulations to them!

I think this is the best coffee place I have been to yet. I’m normally a Starbucks gal and with the closing of Starbucks in this shopping center I was completely over the huge line at the drive thru one in the Safeway shopping center as well as the line out the door. I haven’t had a bad cup of coffee from here yet. I’ve been schooled on the differences of coffee and the particular drinks that I think are what they are at Starbucks are not really what the true drink is. I love that they have a ton of different kinds of tea. The staff is always so nice, and it’s never really busy there. They also offer a military discount!

First time I went to this place the young man behind the counter taught me I was drinking the wrong type of drink. He whipped me up what he thought I would enjoy better and he was right on the money. Changed the way I drink coffee, better quality and I save a lot more money now that I know what to order. Bravo

I was pleasantly surprised. I’m kind of a Starbucks gal but when I had to get some coffee and some work done. I ended up here. First of all my vanilla latte is darn good. I loved it. In all honestly I came here because Starbucks went down today. I had to get work done so my husband and I decided to check it out. Not bad coffee bean, not bad at all. I wouldn’t mind coming here more often. Service was great, coffee is good and I got internet. Perfect just the way I like it.

I like it here to a degree. There is a hit-or-miss with the employees here. One time I came here and there was a black employee who spent her time chatting with a fellow black customer and did NOT wait on us. Racist. We waited in line for a good 5 minutes and finally left angry to the Starbucks across the parking lot. Starbucks had great, friendly, fast service. Since the bad experience, we’ve returned there and there was a new staff. Locals. They were friendly… very friendly, professional, fast, and just what you would expect in a coffee shop. Three stars because of my bad experience with the black employee. She needed or still needs to be fired. I don’t stand for being ignored right in front of her for 5 minutes while she only paid attention to the black customer. Terrible situation and the first I’ve had on Island. Must have been military affiliated.

I love this place more so for their sweets! Half the time I’ve attempted to order a latte, they’ve been out of the syrups I’ve wanted; more specifically the toffee nut during the times they have seasonal flavors. Speaking of seasonal flavors, when they do have them, they are better than Starbucks. Both the toffee nut and the eggnog are super sweet, so it’s more like liquid sugar than coffee, but I like that. I can feel the diabetes forming in my veins when I come here! I need(like I need extra room in my belly!) to get everything to fulfill my sweet tooth when I come here. That includes a syrupy sweet latte, a lemon crunch bar, double chocolate chip cookie, and to end it all, a Bubbies mochi. The lemon crunch bar is my favorite! You know there’s a whole stick of butter that’s been baked in this one little piece when you bite into that scrumptious crust! The tanginess of the lemon goes so well with the creaminess of the whipped top. Soooo good when it hits the lips! Employees are also so friendly! Maybe you guys could offer more sugar free flavors to off set all the other sugar I’m downing here!

Food/Drinks: I’ve been here many times and ordered a variety of drinks and I was never satisfied in the past. The barista kindly suggested the iced white chocolate latte after I complained about how tired I am of drinking the same Starbucks drink all the time. The iced white chocolate latte was strong and the white chocolate sauce/syrup taste a lot better than other coffee places. Service: The baristas are very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the suggestion and now their suggestion is my «go to» drink. Location: They are located next to Foodland in the Ewa Beach shopping center.
