History
Established in 2011.
Here is the real truth about how we got started! I lost my job in March of 2011. I had a friend who knew I needed some work and he offered me a day’s pay to help him clean out an office. I agreed to help and I was introduced to metal recycling. Over the course of the next couple of months I sporadically worked with Chris and learned more about the business.
In June of 2011, I made a decision that I was no longer going to work for someone and I created Weinberg Removal & Recycling. I affectionately became known as the Junk-Dawg. It is spelled that way because of my name D-damon A-middle initial WG-weinberg.
I bought a truck, but didn’t want to be some guy just driving around looking for metal or piles of debris to haul. Having a bit of a professional background, I realized I wanted to separate myself from the competition as well so I started my website, made business cards and most importantly left my customers satisfied!
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Hi! First of all, thank you for your interest in Weinberg Removal & Recycling. A little about me… I’m a family man who has always taken pleasure in helping others my entire life. I am someone who likes to see smiles on people’s faces and I don’t mind helping them get there. I have also experienced many tough situations through life, as I know everybody has. The beauty of those things combined brought about the creation of Weinberg Removal.
I have done many different things in my life as far as work goes. I sold/delivered newspapers, cooked, import/export, sales among other things. One thing remained consistent through all of my jobs, customer satisfaction. I thrived on getting to know my clients and satisfying their needs. I was always a company man and now I’m the company, man.
Bottom line is this, I understand that when you contact my company you are usually dealing with a lousy situation and I want to do my best to make it better. I hope that I can do that for you.
