Take Junk

I am in the middle of a move and realized I had a decent amount of excess building materials & household goods that I did not need. I made an appointment with Take Junk via their website which was extremely easy. They had a Sunday appointment available which worked perfectly with my schedule. I immediately received a text & email confirming my reservation and shortly after I received a phone call to confirm & to get a few details on the items I was disposing of. They were extremely efficient and cleaned the area after removing all of the items. I found them to be very reasonably priced and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs to get rid of items. They made a stressful moving process that much easier.

We had an unexpectedly large amount of junk left after moving out of a home that’s been in the family for 150 years and just a couple of days away from closing on the sale… So you can imagine the things we found. Our local company in Winthrop was closed on Veterans Day and we needed to talk to someone about booking for the next day. I heard about Take Junk on the radio from their founder and spokesperson. On short notice the guys at Take Junk came with a 2 man crew and busted their butts for 2 hours hauling everything out (we ran out of time to haul it out back), filling the truck and saving us from certain disaster. I will definitely recommend Take Junk to anyone that asks.

Take Junk is A Life Saver. I called on A Tuesday for a 30 yard dumpster & they had it at my house that afternoon. We can not say enough good things about every employee that we either talked too on the phone, or met at our house when dropping off & picking up the dumpster. The driver was awesome, he was the 1^st guy to worry about our driveway when he was dropping off the dumpster. He put down guards to protect our hot top driveway. 5 stars from us & we will definitely do more business in the future.

This was easy! I called for the first time today at 3:45… figuring that there was no way that they could service me today. Well… the man said the truck would be there today at 5:00. At 4:45 the doorbell rings, and the truck was here! 30 minutes later my ½ truck full of junk was taken! Like Liam Neeson taken! I will definitely use them again as we have at least another ½ truck still to find. :-). Kudos.
p. s. — You will underestimate how much junk you have as you will find things to throw in as they are clearing away the original junk… caveat emptor.

I was extremely impressed with Take Junk’s service and professionalism. I had an extremely messy and heavy load that I needed taken away on short notice. I was able to book waste removal the night before and have them at my house by 11am on a Sunday. They removed all the debris and swept the area clean. I couldn’t believe how great the area looked when they were done. I will definitely be calling them again!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Take Junk. After being completely screwed over by another removal company Take Junk saved the day on the shortest of short notice. Within 1 hour of calling, Anthony and his amazing crew showed up and cleared out a house that had been lived in for the last 36 years. The efficiency and professionalism displayed by all present was astounding. After working with this fabulous company, I would recommend them to any person who would listen. Anthony from Take Junk was able to help me the same day I called for an estimate. He and a helper arrived on time, walked through the areas I needed junk removed from and then hauled away exactly what I asked, even removing standing water from a trash can that had been collecting rain water for nearly one year. They were friendly, professional and even swept up the areas where they’d removed junk and also the driveway where their truck sat. I’ll be calling Take Junk again!
