Town Fair Tire

5 stars for a tire place? Yes and well deserved. The staff (Dennis and Nick) were great. I had my car towed in for pothole or, I might even say Canyon and they got me in and out on a Saturday under 2 hrs. I assume that’s because of the team in back and their customer service. Well worth going here but the coffee is TOUGH.

Eric was great to help us with getting a few snow tires. He even showed us what fit my car and helped us with the online prices we found. I’ve been here and to the other locations quite a few times, and you always have to wait a few minutes to talk to someone since it’s always busy, but all in all when it is your turn in line they make sure you always leave happy!

Hyannis store seems to have a problem with proper tire inflation. I bought two new tires on ⁷⁄₃₀. All four tires were over-​inflated at the completion of the work, which I fixed myself. Upon checking in for a tire rotation on 1/​06, I told staff of this. After taking my car home, I again checked tire inflation. All four tires were again over-​inflated, with one tire at 40 psi, when 32 psi is correct for my car. So this store, while talking maintenance, is inept in performing a basic task that is needed for proper tire care. My suggestion: manager of the store should be seen by staff making an occasional random check of customers’ cars after these cars leave the bays.

Winter is coming, so I’m getting ready, just changed my tires and came here for an alignment (they seem to have a good deal — $ 70). They did it after I came back a couple of times (had some issues with the inner and outer rods, they had to be replaced). Just keep in mind that they don’t do any mechanical work, so whatever minor issues you have it has to be done by a mechanic. It’s also a good place to train your patience (get some reading materials if you plan to stay). The staff is friendly tho.

I brought my car here and it was serviced well took a bit long but that wasn’t the issue. The customer service here sucks; apparently all 4 geniuses working at the counter get paid to chat and giggle with each other as customers stand there waiting.

Been coming here for years. They know their stuff and i never feel taken advantage of. Nick is the man always has me in and out fast as possible.

I called this morning because I got a flat tire and needed replacement of the spare. They were super helpful on the phone and said they could get the tire by tomorrow, and booked me a first morning appointment. Very friendly, quick responsive service, and I really appreciated the great customer service.

Great experience! Nick was super friendly and helpful! Ordered tires (Falkens) on a Monday afternoon, was told they would arrive in two business days, they were in by Wednesday afternoon. Made appt for Thursday, took about an hour. Every time frame promised was exact. Best price guranteed, they even asked if I had shopped around and found anything cheaper, they would have matched it. This place was the cheapest, about $ 40 cheaper per tire than the tire price quoted at walmart. Highly recommend!

I’ve been dealing with tire service centers for a while. They all thieves & charge u much more than what they should, These guys were NOT! This time I went to NTR (the one next to Town Fair Tires) & no body helped me or even realized my existence even though I was standing for 10 min. I got mad & went to Pep Boys, they were super busy. Decided to check if Town Fair Tire would help me out. Got there 20 min before they close. Told them about my tire leaking air & I have to inflate it every 2 days. They took my car. Checked the tire & told me I had a broken rim! They recommended a rims repair store. At the end of the visit, they checked all the lug nuts, inspected the tire, replaced it with the spare tire & charged me $ 4 only + they were super nice. I will always come back if I have any problem.

The store manager addressed the situation. He seems to be genuinely interested in dealing with client concerns and I respect that. It does seem like he has to attend to internal operations with greater oversight than he should have to.

Needed 4 new tires today after a slow leaked popped and came in the store, Eric helped me out instantly and got me back quickly on the road. Great service sand Price

Denis and team at TFT were very customer friendly. Felt like I was being treated as a long time customer. Best deals along with great customer service, a rare combo.

Just reading some reviews of the place. It’s insane that some people would drive over potholes and blame the damage on the shop and tire itself!
Anyways, I’ve gotten tires for two different cars here. Both times a painless process. I went online, checked out what tire I wanted, made an appointment, then show up on that day. They check the make, model, and mileage of my car, go over extra/​necessary options (if you live in a land with potholes get Road Coverage warranty!!), and then I sit in the waiting area for an hour or two.
Staff is nice enough. I’ve never seen them rude to customers, but I have seen them bend over backwards and shuffle difficult customers ahead in the queue infront of us patient customers who’ve been sitting there for an hour.

Im not use to write reviews honestly, but dennis and his staff where above in beyond to get me pleased, i had to wait 4 hours for my car on a busy saturday, they offer me a ride, something that i found AWESOME!!! they are really amazing even that i was upset that day !! but anyways! THANKS DENNIS! FOR EVERYTHING! i will give 10 stars but they just have 5 in here !!

I shopped around ALOT before going here.
They Price matched and beat Sears price and I was able to get a rebate! Great deal and good service. You can go in and set up your order and come back when it’s nearing your turn, so the waiting time is much less.
They even told me a sensor the stealership told me was bad was actually just fine. They lost $ but told the truth, saving me $ 100!

Had a great experience, called the night before to make sure they had the Pirelli tire I needed (obnoxiously hard to find) because one of mine blew out. Chris was super helpful and nice. Only waited about an hour to get the tire put on and get an alignment. Good prices, nice workers, decent chairs to wait in!

Literally have never had a good experience in a tire shop including this very location in the past. Something has changed, though and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Isaias is a godsend to this place. I felt like I was a human being, not a number and he knows his stuff! If Town Fair Tire can keep hiring people like him and Chris who make you feel good about coming in, they’ll be moving in the right direction. My only minor suggestion would be to put the waiting area back the way it was. I can totally understand not wanting to have customers staring you down while they wait but it’s pretty awkward to climb over other customers to sit.

Recently purchased 4 tires and am overall very satisfied with my experience. Chris and the manager Dennis were very helpful and gave me a very fair price on some great tires.
It’s probably a good idea to make an appointment. They have lots of drop ins and even with my appointment it was a 90 min wait.

Very disappointed with the service. I purchased a set of tires for my MINI last year at the Woburn location, so when I had a puncture through the sidewall this year I called Everett (closer to my home) to replace it. I spoke with Garrett, who called Woburn to have them fax the tire specs. We discussed repairing vs. replacing the tire and made an appointment for Monday 11:30 am — Garrett said that he’d order the tire. I called Monday to confirm that the tire was in — the person answering the phone said that half the office including Garrett was out at a two day seminar and that he didn’t know the status. He said they were extremely busy due to short staffing, so I offered to check back later in the week.
I just got off the phone with Garrett — the tire was not ordered and not in stock, he had to call Woburn again for the specs, and rather than apologizing for the error he offered to reorder the tire and said that he’d been out. When I told him that I would prefer to deal with Woburn as they seemed more reliable, he told me that they also didn’t have the tire in stock. Still no apology.
Pro tip: if a customer is disappointed, say you’re sorry. Also, invest in a computer system to track customer orders and information across stores AND USE IT.
UPDATE: the VP of regional sales emailed me an apology and sent me a check for my inconvenience. Very nicely handled at the corporate level — just wish it hadn’t been necessary.
