Safreena’s Hair Studio

I’ve been going to Safreena since 2008. She is amazing! This new location for her studio is great. It is quaint and allows for an intimate salon experience. Not only is Safreena talented, but she engages with her clients.
I have recommended her to all of my friends. I have even convinced a few people who never considered leaving their large chain salons to go and try her out. :) Because she is talented, she is also very busy. I encourage you to call in advance for an appointment. With that said, she is very organized and communicates effectively with her clients. If a space on her waiting list opens up, she contacts the next person right away. Trust me, I have needed to be rescued from a few dark roots over the past 8 years! LOL I have only went to one other person since 2008… and that resulted in an emergency phone call to Safreena to fix it. I learned my lesson quite early!
While I am not super adventurous with my hair, she keeps up with all of the current trends and takes classes to ensure that she is learning proper techniques. One day… I will do something adventurous… but until then, she will keep reviewing my client log page to see what we did last time and continue to mix my same colors! :)

Great little salon, with lovely people and very reasonable prices. Monica did an amazing job and really helped correct the damage done elsewhere. I love my cut and color. While friendly and conversational, she was also not overly chipper and boisterous as I find so many stylists to be. I felt very comfortable and will definitely continue patronizing, as well as bring along the family to try them out!

I love Safreena’s studio-it’s clean, beautifully decorated, & has a great atmosphere. It took me almost a year to find someone I was comfortable enough with to cut my hair, and I could not be more happy with Safreena’s job! She has the most authentic, kind & down-​to-​earth personality, & is such a great listener-​she gave me exactly what I asked for and it turned out great.
I would suggest anyone in Snohomish County trust Safreena with their hair-​you will not be disappointed!!!

I hadn’t been to Safreena’s studio for a couple of years, because the location wasn’t convenient. But I was following on Facebook and the timing was right to try the new location in Everett.
I had Monica trim my hair, which I’d been growing out from a not so great cut a couple of months prior. She saw the problem, suggested a fix, and I walked out with a haircut that I love! Monica and Safreena are both very friendly and make you feel right at home. The salon is small, but you get a nice comfortable feeling that is sometimes missed in the larger salons. Give Monica a try, she’s great!
PS– I’ve waited almost two weeks to write this review, and am just as happy as I was on day one with this cut.

I just had my second appointment with Safreena and I was completely happy with my cut and color just as I had been the first time. What really impressed me was the fact that she consulted with me prior to cut or color to ask me if I was happy with the way the color grew out over time and was willing to make changes if needed. She is extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend her and I am so happy I found a stylist to stick with :)

Its been 1 day. I thought I’d adjust to the cut and mediocre color, but I’m just realizing all of the awful mistakes that will result in another 7 months of growing out layers she added. After telling me she was following the cut that was there, which u could clearly see she wasn’t and I tried to correct her bur she was insistent, she admitted what she did differently, which had the exact opposite effect I desired. I went in w beautiful hair and walked out with a 7 month project. Don’t go in if u know what u want. She’s nice and has great character, but I keep remembering that she told me she doesn’t take it personal when particular people don’t like the cut she gives. Well I take it personally when someone doesn’t listen and, as result, seriously screws up my hard work of 7 to 10 months. She offered to fix it but you cant uncut hair. She practically gave me obnoxious bangs and blocky layers. I’m literally going to have to cut MORE to FIX the area I told her I was growing out. She said she liked my hair when I came in, but then justified her mistakes by telling me what was wrong with my precious cut. I liked that cut. Now I dread looking at my hair. Not even the color is right. Very unhappy. Not to mention, when you book an appointment on your phone, it tells you how much its going to cost. That doesn’t mean anything. She jacked the price up. At least be honest.

Monica B took care of us in the past and we are happy to visit her here as well! We love her and her work. She rocks!

So I have been coming here to get my hair done for about 6 months and she is really good. I’m very particular about my hair and she can always make time for me very professional and I definitely will be coming here for a very long time

I have been here twice and my haircut was good both times. I agree with the other review, it was very fast though and I am not sure I got the «best» hair cut. I will continue to go here though because the price is right and the location.

Got great pointers on how to style my hair the way I want it to look, so I was happy with that. Although you have to make an appointment to be seen, keep in mind that your appointment is ONLY worth 30 minutes… no more, no less. I felt kind of hurried, like I was at a Great Clips or something. I like stylists who spend their time on my hair, instead of getting the hurried feeling. I also noticed when my appointment was nearing it’s end, some customer comes walking in going ahead to the back to wash his own hair!!! I thought that was very odd. The other thing is that there is/​are no receiptionist (s); what you see is what you get.

I get my haircut by Safreena and she always does an amazing job! She is fun to chat with and she always makes sure I leave with a smile! I highly recommend her and I highly recommend you set an appointment! Well worth it =]

I have had Safreena do my hair for the last few years, as well as my daughter’s. She is kind and friendly. I always love the way she has done my hair. She has colored, cut and foiled my hair. I recommend her as now she is the ONLY hairdresser I will go to…

If you have thick, curly hair and straighten it, you probably know how hard it is to find someone to cut it properly! I don’t live in the area anymore, but luckily only need my hair cut a few times a year! Safreena is awesome and hilarious and entertaining, which is a huge bonus! I don’t color my hair, but when I did, she would always listen to my ideas and mix fun colors for the stylish, dramatic effect I was looking for! I used to get stopped on the street asking where I got my cool red/​violet highlights! I would seriously go to Safreena every other day to shampoo my hair if I lived closer and could afford it! I know that’s probably creepy but she uses her long nails and scratches your scalp. It’s heavenly! The new location is super cute and cozy :)

I’ve been following Safreena around for about 10 years and I don’t regret it at all! She always cuts my hair perfectly even if I’m not 100% sure what I want :) Amanda did my wedding hair and makeup, in addition to my bridesmaids, and I was SO happy with everything! Safreena has been my stylist for several years now. When we moved out of state I couldn’t imagine having anyone else do my hair! So, I planned a return visit around my hair appointment 5 months after moving. Safreena is THE best stylist! It was worth the airfare and rental car costs because the way that she cuts and shapes my hair makes it feel so healthy and I just love it. Plus, she is THE BEST COLORIST! Seriously, she does highlights and low lights that look completely natural… better than anyone else who did my hair in the past. I can’t say enough about how much I just love my hair! Her new place is so comfy and stylish and convenient. Safreena is a real sweetheart and listens carefully to any requests… and she is AFFORDABLE.

Safreena has been doing my highlights for years! I love going to get my hair did =) I always send people their way anytime I can! I drive over 40 minutes to go to the salon… worth every minute of the drive!

I’m new to the area, so I’ve been trying conditioning treatments with the local stylists, just to try to get to know the people doing hair and to find someone I could get along with, who did good hair. I tried a few places that were acceptable but no one I could really talk with. Safreena hits both! She does great hair, so far she’s given me a trim and done color. I’m very happy with both. Safreena is a little ball of sweet fun! She’s all for great conversation about everything! Her winning personality and easy laughs make it very easy to think of her, when my hair is in trouble!

Safreena has been cutting my hair for almost 6 years. She used to run 4^th ave salon in south Everett all those years. She recently moved to this location. If you looking for a friendly nice place to get a haircut I highly recommend it. Safreena and Amanda are the best.
