Diva Tanning

If I could give zero stars I would. So thankful that this place is closing not only is it dirty and disgusting but the staff is ignorant and rude. I went in on a Saturday morning and there was not a soul in there in the middle of giving the surly woman behind the counter my request and payment she stopped in midsentence with me a customer to chitchat with the mailman for I’m not kidding two full minutes all well totally ignoring me. Once she finished her pointless conversation she didn’t even apologize she just looked at me like I was interrupting. When I called her on it and said you know you could at least have said excuse me or apologized for totally disregarding a customer she proceeded to get extremely defensive and rude. And then got snippy with me and through her holier than thou attitude all over the place. I told her I wanted her managers name and proceeded in to the tanning booth to begin my session while I was within earshot she got on the phone with her manager and proceeded to tell her what had happened making it seem like I was the one in the wrong. I got dressed and demanded a refund and I will admit I got pretty heated but only after she insulted me. Hopefully the owner will not reopen and if she does I hope she picks better employees I am totally disgusted.

I can’t get enough of Diva Tanning! I moved to everett almost 2 years ago now and wanted to find a great local tanning salon. So with the advice of some friends who’ve been to Diva prior to moving to their current location, I decided to check it out. What a great choice I made because to be honest Diva Tanning has to be hands down the best overall tanning salon I’ve ever been to! That should say a lot too because I’ve been to tons of tanning salons within the 15 years I’ve been going tanning (on and off obviously). I’ve been to the best of the best in and around Boston, and now I believe Diva has the whole package. Plus you don’t need to purchase a membership first, just to go tanning, unlike some other tanning places. Some of those places make you purchase a membership then on top of that fee, you need to purchase whichever tanning package you’d like (I. E. Monthly, 1 visit, 20 visits, etc) before you can actually go tanning. So that is double to triple the price compared to Diva and you’d get the same end results in the same time, just for way less. That’s a big reason I love it here. Also this is the only salon I’ve been to where after my 1^st tanning session I already see a difference, drastic difference. A week or 2 of tanning here would equal the color of tanning a month somewhere else! That’s amazing to me! This place is extremely clean and not cluttered. The staff, no matter who is working, is always welcoming & cheerful and does not give you those nasty looks like many other salons. The staff here also actually knows their business, they always give me great recommendations on lotions and answers my other questions I may have. I definitely recommend Diva Tanning. I just wish I knew of this place years ago. I wouldn’t of wasted my money elsewhere.
* oh yeah one more thing… Last Sunday, I came about 10 minutes before closing and the young girl working didn’t even seem to mind. Regardless she had some of her friends there keeping her company and probably going out after closing, but she still let me do the full tanning time in a bed and it was all done with a TRUTHFUL smile and pleasant attitude.

this place .love the girls the owner is just the best always friendly never had one issue started going again about 2 weeks ago I’m already super dark… But little secret I really really want a tee size xl lmao… btw it’s Elisha d

I always have been tanning at diva since they were across the street. but in the past year it has went down hill. the girls working their at night barely look up to speak to you, I agree with the other posts that 99% of the time they are paying more attention to their friends then us customers. and if they are open until 9, if its slow they ALWAYS are closed early even before the last tanning time. currently looking for another place to tan. its just not how it used to be.

Clean beds, hot bulbs, and the girls who work there are always friendly. I only go tanning a few times a year but when I do it’s always here.
