Cascadia Pointe

Easily the worst place I have ever lived. When I was much younger I actually lived in a trailer park with my brother (we were 16 and 17 years old) and this place is worse. First let me say that when I moved in, I discussed my rental payment with the manager of the office who said that it was fine to turn in rent on the 5^th of each month as that is how my paycheck was given to me and at the time, I could not afford to pay it before then. New management took over, said it wasn’t written in the contract and fined me. On the 4^th of the month, they put an eviction notice on my door (I’m not kidding) a pay or vacate sticker that states to leave or pay within 10 days. Later, my ex’s Grandmother in Milwaukee got sick and it looked as if she may pass away, we decided we needed to move back. I call the front desk and spoke with the manager at the time and explained the situation. I also lined someone up to look at the apartment and see if they wanted to take over the lease, she said that she would contact me if they needed anything else and/​or if the new person didn’t take the apartment. She said I had a buyout of 1700 dollars if it isn’t re-​rented, to which I agreed. I received NO feedback at all, I assumed that the place must have been rented out. However, I didn’t just leave it alone. I called 5 times in a 3 month period and left messages and emails with the manager and received no call back. After 3 months, I received an email from Cascadia Pointe asking how I liked living there. I wrote again and this time received an email back saying that I now owe $ 5000, how would I like to pay it! I responded how most would, that I have tried to contact them over and over and that I have no issue paying the $ 1700 that was agreed to if in fact the apartment was never rented. She wrote back and what she wanted me to believe was the apartment building never tried to have me removed in 3 months of not paying. Even though if you remember, they left an eviction notice on my door after 4 days of being late before. She went over a bunch of things they were trying to charge me for and said that they would put an eviction on my credit report if I did not pay them $ 5000. I ended up having to settle with them for $ 3000 to keep it off of my credit report. They are an extremely shady and I would never wish this type of experience on anyone. PLEASE stay away from this place. FAR FAR away.

Lived there for 2 years and within that time I have seen management go from, «ok», to downright «horrible». In this time, they have gone through new management 3 times. Which shows that something is very wrong. They raise and change the price for there trash and sewage about 7 times. They use to recycle but that all changed with management. And with every change, getting worst and worst. You wouldn’t believe how rude this place has gotten. I hate going into that office, it feels as if I’m bothering them or I’m an inconvenience to them. They are only nice if your looking into using there apartments. They have shorten there parking spaces making it impossible to get out of your car. There is never parking for guests. If they wanted to park, they would have to park by Casino Road and pray you car doesnt broken into or stolen. You can really see that this place is just falling apart with mold. Over all, they place is turning into a ghetto. Very odd and suspicious people walking around. Its getting out of hand. Those of you with children stay away. Please! This is for your benefit only. There is a lot hidden underneath that mask they try to sell you. I hope this helps those looking, you have been warned.
