Took my android in to have contacts switched from old S4 to new Nexus 6P. They were able to do the job in about 20 minutes while I waited, no charge. They will go the extra mile to see their customers are satisfied.

Horrible place!!! They couldn’t fix my broken glass on my phone because the frame was slightly bent!!! What kind of business doesn’t have tools to fix a bent phone? So basically I need to break it a certain way in order for them to fix it? Very very disappointed!!!

Great technicians! I would definitely recommend the tech team to anyone. They are fast and sufficient in getting their stuff done.

I made an appointment a week in advance to replace an iPhone screen. It didn’t matter as I had to wait for thirty minutes for a line of walk-​ins in front of me. After I reached the front of the line 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, i was informed that they didn’t have the part they needed to fix my screen and that I would have to make another appointment while they ordered the part. No thanks… If the quality of their repairs approximates how they run the front end of their business, then I suggest going elsewhere.

Went to this location because it’s closes to me and also the reviews seems to be favorable.
Dropping off my phone (Sat ¹⁄₂₃ about 1pm) was pretty standard, no issues. They advised me that they will contact me within 24 – 48 hours. Figured i’d give them the weekend to take a look at it.
While i was at work, Monday ¹⁄₂₅ called for a status as they had not called me. When I called they looked me up and went to check. Came back to the phone, advised me that they had not even looked at it. I was taken aback as ok, you had the phone since early sat and not one person looked at it? I was like, umm, ok were you closed Sunday (thinking it’s possible so not full 24 – 48 hours)? They were like no we’re open, then i stated, Oh, ok well I was advised someone will call me back within 24 – 48 hours, which it has been since they are open Sunday. Then they stated well we’re not open a full Sunday so it doesn’t really count, then stated, ok thanks, so will someone call me back with an update, they advised yes we will.
Flash forward to the following day around lunch time, still no call. Decided at 1pm to call since no one had called me back, they then went through the things they «supposedly» did and advised they could not fix and that they would not charge me. I said ok, i’ll come pick it up in a couple days as by the time i’m back in the area their location is already closed, he said no problem and ended the call.
Came to pick up my phone today ¹⁄₂₈ told the person who I was looked me up, then went away longer than i think they should. Sounded like he wanted to know what to tell me.
I would def advise against this location. I can’t speak for the company as a whole, maybe the other locations are better.

Pretty lucrative business they’ve got going on here, despite the kinda silly name. I mean, I guess I didn’t realize how easily phone screens broke — never happened to me in 4 years with 2 phones, but I’m just having terrible luck this round…
Anyway, this is not a place to go to if you are in a hurry. The service is a little understaffed. One person at the counter, and each quote/​taking phone/​pick up takes a bit of time. Weekday lunch break rush, maybe? A few people in line and in the lobby waiting around 1pm when I went. So you’d probably wait like 25min to drop off the phone with 4ppl in front of you. When I went to pick up, even though there was no line, I was waiting a few minutes just to be seen.
The quoted wait times are not unreasonable and when I went 1.5 hours after they said, my phone was ready as promised. I didn’t go for any quotes elsewhere or take advantage of the discounts (because my phone wasn’t functioning for me to buy the coupon or check in on fb, etc, but… I should have and so should you!)
You will need to let them access it to press and poke around and test the screen, so maybe have guest mode on before you hand it over if you’re uncomfortable.
A little expensive and maybe if I shopped around I could have found a cheaper option that took longer or done it myself, even. But it was pretty convenient and painless.

Replaced the glass on an iPhone 6. The glass cracked due to an accidental drop on a tiled floor. The glass replacement looks great, as a matter of fact the phone looks brand new!

I needed to get two of my ipad’s LCD repaired. I called first and spoke to Alex. He said to bring it in so they can take a look at it because the price of the repair may vary depending on the issue. I went there and right away Alex was able to determine the problem and he said cost of the repair for both ipads may not be worth it. He was honest… it’s very rare to find that now a days. He also suggested what cover to get so I wouldn’t have the same problem. Alex provided an EXCELLENT customer service! That’s why I like this place! The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and most of all HONEST! Thanks guys!

I really smashed up my phone and thought it was beyond repair. Not the case at
uBreakiFix! They did a great job replacing the screen and LCD, looks brand new, and the 90 day warranty is great in case anything starts acting weird. Highly recommend.

Re-​updating my review… after the brightness problems happened for a few days, my phone slipped onto the table (about 3 inch drop) and instantly the entire screen was covered in lines and dark spots. I made my way back to uBreakiFix, upset that I would have to have the screen replaced once more as I had a full year left until my upgrade. I came in and they let me use the discount but told me I couldn’t have the student discount like I had the last time (big bummer). I went to Starbucks to study for a couple hours and wait for my phone. When I showed up to pick it up everything was good as new and they told me they had taken care of it. No cost fix because they said they saw my review on here. Thank you so much, uBreakiFix! This place is a life saver. Phone is still in perfect condition :)

I got a discounted coupon in Unilocal and they didn’t accept it. I had to leave the store and my phone is still broken

Just picked up my i-​Pad 4 screen repair. Looks new with 90 day warranty. My case was slightly misshaped at the corner after the fall. They repaired this at no extra charge and matched the price of a local brick and mortar store so I saved $ 30. Very pleased with the quality of their technicians. Good experience

Fast, knowledgeable, very professional, and definitely lower price-​wise than any other quotes I got on my phone repair.
Don’t go anywhere else!!!

Had a cracked Samsung S4 screen and a shattered LG2. It takes only a matter of hours to get it fixed if they have the part. They call when it’s done and with the Unilocal coupon ($ 15 off of $ 50) and if you check in on Facebook (another 5%) the fee was almost half! LG2’s need to be completely replaced for about $ 135 (before all the discounts) but the Galaxy S4, only the top glass. There were some streaks and a bubble on the S4 so i took it back (guarranteed for 90 days) the next day and they reluctantly took it back but they did fix it for free! They were very accomodating as I’d downloaded the Unilocal coupon for the wrong branch but they figured it out and accepted it anyway. I used the Unilocal coupon on BOTH phones. Definitely going there for future fixes as I have 2 teenage kids using their phone and mine.

Ubreakifix wasted my time and did more harm than good.
I first visited about six weeks ago after cracking the screen of my iPhone 5s. The screen was promptly replaced and I went home happy. Until I realized the headphone jack (which was working when I brought my phone in) no longer worked. I called to let them know and was assured that it was just a coincidence and there was no way that replacing the screen caused the headphone jack to stop working. I brought the phone back in and paid to have the headphone jack replaced. I picked the phone up later that day and again went home happy that the headphone jack was now working. This happiness was even shorter lived because I quickly realized the external speaker (which was working when I brought the phone in) now did not. One more time I brought my phone back in, came back a couple hours later and the speakers worked. Now, two days later, the external speaker and fingerprint reader do not work. That means I now have to type in my four digit password to unlock my phone (which I can deal with), but also that I can no longer rely on my phone to serve as an alarm clock, nor can I count on being notified when anyone is calling/​texting/​emailing me, I cannot watch videos or use speaker phone.
The guys at the shop were nice enough and did seem interested in fixing my phone, but were obviously incapable of doing so, which I wish I had known six weeks, four visits and a couple hundred wasted dollars ago.

WARNING: long rant review. I’d give this place 2.5 stars if I could.
I cracked the screen of my white iPad2 screen so I looked around for a place to repair it (the apple store charges an arm and a leg-​might as well by a new iPad). My fiancé found uBreakiFix and scheduled an appointment for 10am the next day. We were informed the repair costs would be $ 137.01.
The next morning, I dropped off my iPad2 at around 10:05am and was told that it would take «a few hours» and that because they only had one glass left it might be defective… wait, what? I asked what that would mean. Alex H (according to my receipt” told me that uBreakiFix has a 90 day warranty so it should be fine. I agreed and left the store (we were told we could pay upon return). They give you a receipt as you leave which includes a tracking number.
At around 3pm I was curious what was taking so long. Maybe I’m just impatient, but five hours is a bit excessive for «a few hours.» I gave them a call and was told that they were backed up with repairs. I asked for another estimate on when my iPad2 would be fixed. I was told it should be done in 30 – 45 minutes.
At 6:00pm I called again to find out the status (is it just me or is 8 hours no longer considered «a few hours?») of my iPad2. I was told that they were working on my iPad2 now (now?!) and that they had problems with some sort of cable. I asked for another estimate on when it would be finished. I was told 30 minutes. Honestly, I was irritated at this point so I asked, if I would be able to pick up my iPad2 if I arrived at their store in 30 minutes. The guy on the phone (they never seem to state their names on the phone) apologized and said that would be fine.
I returned at 6:35pm. Alex H handed me my iPad and repeated that the long repair time was due to some sort of cable trouble. I noticed right away that the edges of my white iPad were dirty (they didn’t seem to clean the edges before replacing the glass. (My screen may have been cracked, but it was not dirty before the repair). After recharging my iPad2 at home I noticed there was something under the glass. It looked like a red and transparent sticker. We called uBreakiFix and asked them about it and was told to bring it back the next day (they close at 7:30pm on Saturdays).
When we brought it back on Sunday Alex H told us that when they replaced the glass it was replaced the wrong way??? (What?) We weren’t offered any apology. He stated he would take it back and replace the glass in about 5 minutes. He brought it back in the promised 5 minutes and the sticker was no longer there. But he told us to press down on the right side of the screen (where the sticker had been) to make sure the glue holds. Annoyed, but glad that the sticker was gone I did as told and left. I’m wondering if he he told me to hold down the right side to cover up the bubbly plastic. For some reason, that area (by the volume controls) is all bubbly and no longer sits straight. Do I want to go back? No. I do not want to find out what else they can mess up.
I am glad that my screen is no longer cracked. I am glad it was cheaper than buying a new iPad. However, I don’t think the poor communication and execution of the repair were worth the saved money. I would not go back.

I go here (unfortunately) to fix my cracked iPhone screens. Some of us have screens that literally sit on the table and break by themselves, which is a bit psychologically traumatic.
They’re fast. About an hour. I think it’s $ 110.

Manager got a hold of me and fixed everything in a timely and VERY professional manner. After this last experience, I would definitely recommend. Have never seen someone so adamant about making things right.
Phone looks great now.

After reading mostly positive reviews, I decided to stop by to see how much they would charge to fix the broken screen on my iPhone 6+. It appears I was interrupting a social going on in the back room since when the associate came to greet me, he was basically rude and acting rushed. I indicated that I wanted to know if they could fix my phone screen and he asked «on what» — mind you, I was holding my phone in my hand! So I said «on this phone!» Ultimately, he told me that it would probably cost $ 300! Keeping in mind, that to get a new phone is only $ 200 with the insurance. The entire interaction was less than five minutes and bad. Maybe their other locations have better service.
You can take your iPhone 6+ to the Apple Store and they charge $ 129 plus tax. The service was much better and definitely cheaper.

My iPhone upgrade isn’t until July of 2015, and it’s only December of 2014. My phone was keeping a charge for about 3 hours, before it needed to be docked again. Just checking my email on my phone would drain 30% of the battery.
I thought about buying a new phone, before my contract was up — but I really am in no position to spend $ 800 on a new iPhone. I decided I just wanted a new battery.
I’ve driven past uBreakiFix almost every day for quite some time now. I didn’t realize what they did — until I needed them.
I took my phone in on a Friday afternoon. The guy behind the counter was really friendly, and spoke to me like we’d worked together for years. He ran some quick diagnostics on my phone, and told me it would be about 30 minutes. He suggested I grab a coffee, or just hang out in the waiting room.
Before I could even finish a copy of Popular Science, he had brought my phone back out.
It has been a week — and my phone is now holding a charge all day. Even with pretty heavy use, I’m still at 30% at bedtime — without charging my phone. It’s like I have a new phone again, without spending $ 800, and having to navigate an Apple Store.
I would recommend this place to my friends. I am very happy that my phone is essentially as good as new. Thanks uBreakiFix!
