My theraputic approach is based on the idea that most emotional and psychological issues can be resolved through a method called Self-​Acceptance. People are motivated to come in when there is emotional pain and or relationship problems that do not seem resolvable. Behavioral issues such as such as addiction, anxiety, depression, over reacting, and self destructive pattens can be addressed very effectively. My Body-​Centered Psychotherapy Is a cutting edge approach to doing psychotherapy. Emphasis is on helping the client access their own truth in their body. The assumption is that relying on the intellect alone is not complete enough. Therefore, time is spent on accessing one’s own truth in the body. History

Established in 1991.

I graduated in 1991 from SSA at the University of Chicago with a degree in Clinical Social Work. I have been in private practice ever since. from 1996 to 2004, I co-​owned a building called Central Partners on NW Evanston, where I conducted therapy for individuals, couples and groups. Since 2004, I have been a lease-​holder and conducting therapy at the Heartwood Center on Dempster St. in Evanston. There, I collaborate with various practitioners as we deliver integrative health and healing to the clients, patients, and students we serve.

I am a psychotherapist working in private for over 20 years. I have a keen interest in putting things together and seeing people and issues in a holistic manner. I have sought out teachers, trainers and therapists that worked with me holistically. I believe that I need to continue doing my own personal work as I endeavor to help others with what my confronting them from living a full and contented life. Clearly, the work I have done on myself has contributed greatly the the positive results I get with the clients, couples and families that I see.
