These guys did a great job. Leo talked to us about what is good for the tree and what to do to maintain it’s health and beauty. It’s a massive tree and loads of little dead branches needed to be removed. The price was very reasonable and they did a great job plus cleaned up afterwards. I’ve give them 6 stars if I could, they really do know their stuff.

Just purchased a chord of firewood from Leo. Best price I’ve ever received for well seasoned firewood (delivered and stacked). Ready for the winter. Leo was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!!!

I used the «contact us» feature on their website and called and left a message on their voicemail to try to get a quote for tree removal. No response and it’s two weeks later.

We contacted Arborgreen Tree Service for an estimate on a Monday. Leo came out the same day and told me what parts of the tree should be taken down. He really knows his trees and when I realized that, I asked him to help me landscape my yard with a tree and bush. He takes care of buying and installing trees and bushes as well as tree removal. His estimates were exact and by far less than any other. The work was done by a polite crew by the end of the week. Everything was cleaned up and left spotless. The yard looks great and I highly recommend this company. By far the best bargain done by professionals!

I required immediate service to bring down a towering, unstable blue spruce in my backyard. The high wind gusts with water-​saturated soil made it imperative that the swaying tree be felled as soon as possible. At the recommendation of my landscaper, I called Arborgreen, and Leo came to my house several hours later. He promised to send his crew shortly, and they arrived within an hour. The danger was quickly mitigated by the expert action of two of his employees, as the tree was brought down without any complications. I had them remove another evergreen tree at the same time. They cleaned up after completion. I was quite pleased with my experience, and I expect to have Arborgreen do some additional tree-​trimming in a few weeks.

As others have noted, Arborgreen just does exactly what you want them to do, they respond promptly to phone calls, make appointments right away (mine, the same evening as I called, although they would have come and looked at tree even if I wasn’t home), and came out within a few days to remove the tree while I was at work. There is literally no sign that the tree was there — the clean up was terrific, everything that might have been broken was moved, and every trace of tree is gone (this was a 25 foot tall diseased ash). Great price, terrific service. Highly recommend.

Arborgreen did a great job removing a large, unstable, and dying oak tree that was threatening our house, as well as our neighbor’s. As others have said, Leo the owner was a pleasure to work with. He and his guys showed up on time, and worked efficiently through the job. They all wear Arborgreen branded gear, which shows they take pride in the company they work for. Lastly, their price quote for the work was very reasonable and far superior to others we received. I plan on hiring them again for tree trimming services this spring.

This is a great company! They arrive quickly, are knowledgeable, nice and reasonably priced. They always do a very good job. You won’t be sorry.

I haven’t experienced the tree removal side of this business, but I’ve bought firewood from them a couple times this season and every time has been a pleasure! The prices knock the socks off any firewood in the area, and they are always very responsive and go out of their way to find a time to meet up. They tied up bundles of wood and loaded them for free, and they’re already only charging ~$.50 a log (depending on what package you’re getting) for hefty logs that are well seasoned and burn great. Couldn’t be happier with the prices and quality of the wood, and the professionalism of the service!

Absolutely, positively, the best tree removal service I could have asked for! They were hard-​working, kind, considerate of my property, highly proficient, focused, dedicated, and very professional.
It all starts with the owner, Leo, who is an absolutely joy to work with. Not only is Leo extremely professional and proficient at what he does, but he also deeply LOVES what he does. He cares about your property, your yard, and your landscaping. If he feels that removing a tree might not be your best choice, he will tell you. His primary focus is the wellbeing of your trees and property, more so than how much money he can make off of you.
In terms of my experience, I had a large, mature, black walnut tree in my front yard that I wanted removed. It was a challenging project due to a couple of honey locust trees in the parkway area in front of my property, as well as the closeness of the tree to my front porch and house. The Arborgreen Tree Service team was brilliant in carefully positioning their equipment on my property, and making sure they were very careful to not allow any tree debris to damage the bushes and other landscaping in the area.
Because of the value of black walnut tree wood, especially when the trunks are as healthy and long as my tree’s was, Leo offered me a discount on the cost of the tree service if I let him keep the wood. No other tree service I contacted had the decency, thoughtfulness, and professional courtesy to offer that.
My friends, I HIGHLY recommend Leo and his Arborgreen Tree Service team. I just cannot go wrong with them. He has my tree service for life!

We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Arborgreen! After getting 3 quotes, Arborgreen was by far the best price — and we were especially pleased with their recommendation to SAVE TREES, not remove them. We have several very mature Maples that were a hazard to our home; the recent storms, earlier this month, caused damage and we were ready to remove them to avoid it happening again. They could have agreed to our request (and therefore made a considerable amount more from the job), but they care more about the health and vitality and value that our trees provided to our property. Hands down, would recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable and valuable tree service company!

I would give five+ stars if it were possible.
My mother-​in-​law had two really big trees in her backyard that had to be removed. These trees were precariously located between her home and the neighbor’s, one tree was dead and had already started to lean over the neighbor’s deck. I got six quotes to cut the trees down to stump level and remove them. Leo beat the most expensive quote by more than a $ 1000. Throughout the whole process Leo and his crew were responsive, courteous and extremely professional. It would have been very easy for any of the branches to have damaged either one of the homes or a deck, but each one was brought down with precision. When they were done they tidied up where they worked and the final product looked great.
Make sure to get a quote from Arborgreen Tree Service, most likely you’ll end up going with Leo!

If you need a great tree service call Leo. He did quality work, was very professional, and his rates were great. When other tree trimmers would not even respond to my emails Leo was quick to get back to me and even quicker to get the work done. He was careful not to damage an overhead cable line or my lawn. If you’re looking for a tree trimmer anywhere on the north shore, just give him a call or send him an email and you won’t be disappointed.

Leo and his team did a fantastic job on our trees and bushes (in Northbrook). When Leo came by to prepare the estimate, he was very pleasant, patient with my questions, detail-​oriented, knowledgeable, and provided great suggestions. He gave us an estimate on-​the-​spot, and because I was so impressed with Leo, I hired him right away. On the day of the job, Leo and his team did a terrific job, and they were also very efficient and considerate in doing it. I would highly recommend them.
