In the same shopping center as Khalid’s Café(why am I the 1st reviewer? c’mon guys.) Is this small but tasty restaurant. I’m not a fan of Sushi, but my friends that do like Sushi tell me this place has a very good selection. It is a family owned and operated business. This is not your standard Hibachi restaurant in which you are asked to sit down and the chef makes onion volcanoes, catches peoples hair on fire with smiley faces made of oil, or smashes shrimp into«roadkill» during the preparation, you sit down in a nice quiet atmosphere and the food is brought to you. The food is the same as hibachi style restaurants, they just have a single chef behind a glass window rather than one chef per table. The benefit of this is its quieter, its cooler, its cheaper, and you get to sit/eat/leave quicker. I frequented this location quite a bit during the time that I lived in the area. My friends became sick of me asking to go there and blacklisted it. :( Much of the Hibachi style restaurants offer the same thing within limitations. As such I tend to focus on a few things, quantity, cleanliness, service, and quality of the meats. In these areas this restaurant scores near 5⁄5 in every category. a 4.7 out of 5 in my book. If there is anything they could improve on it is the soup appetizer. They are open for lunch and dinner so you have no excuse not to drop in and try it!
