Super Value Pharmacy

First a quick correction, my family uses BCBS TX and had no problem, possibly what ever was wrong in 2014 has been corrected.
We live about 25 miles from Super Value Pharmacy, and the reason we started with them is that they are 1 out of 2 pharmacies in the DFW area that carry one of our medications. But I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of the staff, the size of the store, and the fact that they have a nutritionist on site that will sit down with you and creat a plan for you; she does this at no charge. I will continue to use this pharmacy even if the medication changes. It’s important to fill all prescriptions at the same pharmacy to prevent mistakes and contraindications. Give them a visit, they even have a drive up window.

I love that this pharmacy isn’t a huge chain corporation. The techs and the Pharmacists are very friendly and personable and there is never, ever a line at the drive through. I also like that you don’t have to talk through a walkie-​talkie type thing at the drive up, but instead get to talk face to face to a person, jut at a window. This place accepts most insurances, does the regular flu shots and Rx’s, but also does compounding, rentals/​purchases for post-​surgical needs (ie:walkers, bedpans, etc.) and they sell essential oils. I just recently gave this place a try instead of my regular go-​to pharmacy, and I am super glad that I did.

Great pharmacy! Very friendly knowledgable people. They take very good care of you. Just transferred my prescriptions here from Kroger. They take the time to make sure you completely understand your medication before you walk out the door. Their prices are very low. I don’t have prescription insurance and the more than beat everyone else’s prices. Highly recommend.

Very helpful pharmacy, unfortunately they no longer have a contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas so I can’t use them. I’m not sure if this is a problem w/​other insurance carriers as well. Cash prices are $$$$ compared to some other places.
Staff has always been friendly and helpful, you can find many things there you can’t in the box pharmacies as well. Website refill ordering needs help, half the time it’s down.
BIG bonus is they’re a compounding pharmacy!

Great pharmacy with all the bells and whistles. Good customer service. My only wish is that their hours were more convenient — later weeknights and longer weekends.
