Food here is garbage. To top that off when you order the guy scribbles your name on a thin strip of paper and sends it to the area where food is prepared. Next you take a seat and a big manly looking lady comes out HOLLERING names incorrectly(after being reassured by the guy that the name she is calling is correct) so you get to look at here and say no that’s not me even though it may be your food. Well please don’t correct her because since the guy was sure he told her the name correctly she likes to give the customer a dirty look for his mistake. NOCUSTOMERSERVICEWHATSOEVER. $ 10 wasted on one sandwich and a drink. To add to this I have eaten in Euless four days out of this week and the BEST place I choose this week was Taco Casa. Get it together Euless!

Great authentic style deli. $ 62 pizza slices and drink can’t be beat. Been coming here for years, always great

I like this place a lot. The best sandwich I like is the«Saprano». It is by far the best they have. Now the meet ball sub is really good too. It’s not a fancy place but it’s ok. The owner is really a nice guy and seems to care for his customers.

The sandwiches were mediocre at best. I could probably make sammies at home for cheaper and better. Plus, the soda fountain was jacked. I had a turkey and provolone with vinegar and oil which seemed like an imposition for them to make. They also only offer one type of potato chips. Weird. Maybe they should take the«deli» off the sign and stick with pizza.

Quick, tasty lunch under $ 10. The pizza looked iffy, so I passed, but I’m definitely impressed with the meatball sub. The cheese was gooey and plentiful and the roll was perfect! Light and pillowy with a spot– on crunch. Exactly like a NY meatball parm sub should be. I would definitely return.

Yay free beer! Oh no, terrible terrible pizza. I drank my beer, choked down half my slice, and left to get lunch somewhere else. Maybe it was an off day at NYPD? The DFW area is privileged to have some really great pizzerias(e.g. Big Joe’s Pizza and Tony’s Pizza are both nearby and outstanding), how NYPD is still in business baffles me. Is it because it’s near the freeway? Next to a pool hall? Seriously? Maybe their sandwiches are good(they look good in the pictures posted here at least). Just don’t eat the pizza. If you don’t want to go far, Lushaj’s Pizza is just down the road about ½ a mile. It’s the closest escape from NYPD.

The pizzas really good crust is nice and crispy they provide decent value for the buck. They are little bit bad about the on-time pickup. The ambience is really outdated and does not really value add. They do have one really good accent wall but the storing of trophies and other paraphernalia really looks tacky. Their display cases don’t look like they’re well organized.

Sandwich quality needs to be better for $ 6 – 8 sandwich. Was recommended the Reuben, but was no Reuben like I’m used to. Good for on the go though

I think its owned by the same people who own big apple. Pizza is average at best. If you want a good NY slice you have to go to Joes on north main. When they are closed on monday, go to Lushajs. Skip NYPD, its not great. Yellow cheese has no place on a pizza.

Love their pizza! Sandwiches… The Soprano! Excellent. Basic décor, yes. But it’s about the FOOD!

The sandwiches are a 4 but the atmosphere is a 2, so we’ll settle at a 3. The restaurant is very dark inside. My husband used to frequent this place back in the day, always ordering the grilled chicken swiss sub. The first time I went I had the philly cheesesteak and it was unbelievably bland. I had to add salt to it, and *then* it tasted good. We went today and I had the Soprano sub(italian meats, vinegar, creamy dressing) and it was delicious! Very good. However, I went to the restroom, and there were dirty diapers and an empty tampon applicator on the floor… kind of puts a damper on things, huh.

Being from the east coast, this is the only place that comes close to a North east Grinder. Their pizza is also very good, but still not quite like the Pizza back home. I always get the God father sub. If you go here on the weekends you get two free beers with your meal.

I was surprised that the pizza was as good as it was. I was there about a year ago. Not sure how it is today.

Quick read: What was once a pretty solid lunch place is gradually falling into disrepair and inattention. I’ve been here a number of times over the years, and I’ve always enjoyed the local-deli type environment, the friendly staff, and the enormous selection. For a pizza/pasta/sandwich place, their menu selection is quite impressive. But here’s the problem — I’ve watched the place slowly decline. I’m not sure if management has changed, or perhaps simply fallen into a rut, but each time I go, I wonder if it will be the last. This doesn’t capture everything I noticed, but here are some details from my most recent visit: * Several overhead lightbulbs were out, so the dining room seemed dark * Projector TV doesn’t work * Multiple drink stations were out of syrup or marked as broken with handwritten signs. * Drinks case was nearly empty * The deli counter area lights were out, leaving the deli meat looking dark and unappealing * There used to be an employee dedicated to going through the line to get orders going in advance, now everybody has to wait for a single station * They weren’t busy, but one of our meals– the daily special — was never started, forgotten by the kitchen. No offer for discount /dessert/etc. * The girl at the counter seemed to be the only person in a hurry to do anything. Other employees seemed very relaxed and unengaged. * I’ve never liked their system of walking around the dining room shouting out a name for each order that is ready. My group typically ends up sitting around watching food getting cold, waiting for the last person’s meal to arrive, up to 10 – 15 minutes later. Until they start putting a little bit of effort into managing this place, I may start taking my lunch dollars elsewhere.

I’ve been to this place plenty of times over the years. I’ve never really been disappointed, but it is a sandwich/pizza place. You’re not going to find gourmet Italian food here, so get that out of your head. The pizza is thin, sliced big, and a little greasy. It’s good. You’re probably here for the sandwiches though… I was a vegetarian for six years and have eaten many of their vegetarian sandwiches. Ironically, it’s the most expensive sandwich on the menu. I love it though. Their bread is good and the veggies are fresh and cut well. I usually got it with honey mustard instead of the house dressing. And hey, you can’t knock a place with cheap(and pretty good) tiramisu. 3 stars for being local AND good.

The ability to put any sandwich on low carb wrap is big plus for me. Wrap was very good and I will return. We order lunches for my office frequently and have had very good luck with the quality and not mixing up the orders. I have not tried their pizza, so can only review the deli portion.

My husband and I enjoy their vegetarian sandwich, you can tell they use the best quality ingredients. We had also tried their pizza and it’s very good. I personally go there because of their desserts. I am not a chocolate cake person, but theirs is freaking amazing! any dessert that you pick is going to be super flavorful and the portions are giant.(I also highly recommend the cheesecake) The place has a very friendly atmosphere and the food tastes very homemade. I just wish they had more choices for vegetarians.

I love this place. Great atmosphere. The pizza is great. The sandwiches I love. I’m a sandwich afficianado and these guys are on the top pf my sandwich heirarchy(meaning if possible this is the first place I will go). The soprano is so good. Another bonus, you get a couple free beers on fridays and saturdays.
