Here at Thramer’s Auto, we love curing that pesky Check-​Engine light. We also specialize in 30−60−90K mile services, Timing Belts, Water Pumps, Brakes, Clutches, Tune-​ups, Air Conditioning, and Full Fuel Injection Diagnosis. A much enjoyed specialty here at Thramer’s Auto is servicing high performance Volkwagens; however, all makes and models are welcome.

History

Established in 1982.

In the early eighties the Thramer brothers started an automotive repair business specializing in Volkswagen, servicing their native Eugene area. Several years and innumerable repairs later, half of the Thramer duo parted with the business to pursue other interests. Now, over thirty years since it’s inception, Thramer’s Auto is still owned and operated by it’s incredibly knowledgeable Head Mechanic; Darin Thramer.

Even at a young age, Darin Thramer was mechanically inclined. As is the case with most natural talents, Darin’s appetite for working with machines and motors grew along with him. When he’s not at his shop or spending time with his family, one can find Darin flying his RC airplanes around the Eugene area with other enthusiasts.
