Love this place!!! Shannon, Michelle, Keaton and the gang always make you feel welcome. Great when someone remembers you and gives fantastic customer service. There are loads of places to get a growler filled in Eugene. But these folks do it right!!!
Will be coming back often!

I absolutely love this place! Staff is fun, energetic and always greets you with a smile. They always have a great variety of beers and ciders on tap. The award system is like no other! I highly recommend this place!

What a great place !!! My husband LOVES the dark beers, but unfortunately, I never have cared for any beer. They have such a HUGE selection. I told the person serving that I just don’t like beer. He gave me a sample of the peach sangria. Oh boy, was it ever good. I had a glass of that and a glass of the Chai cider. My husband loved the dark beer and left with a growler of the Pecan Pumpkin Coffee Stout. I hear that the selection changes often. We will definitely be back as we pass through again. They also had a kombucha bar, with about 12 – 15 different varieties + 40 different beers and a few ciders. There is something for everyone here !!

Visited again and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I got a great deal on buying 2 smaller growlers and got a pint for a penny with purchase, etc etc. LOVE deals! I got to taste a bunch of flavors including a sample not yet on tap.
Cons: I really dislike the chairs inside with no backs! But that’s just a personal thing.

Great selection of over 40 beers all on tap plus kombucha and cider. Added bonus that the employees that I was speaking with didn’t seem too stuck up to explain the differences between many of the beers and matching their taps to what I might like. Great deals during the week including pint for a penny with a growler fill from 12 – 3. II will definitely check out the other locations in and around Portland.
Pro tip: Sample as many as you like.

Are you kidding? I’m from NJ visiting my in-​laws here in Eugene. I can’t be more please with the beer selections in Eugene. Then I came across The Growler Guys. This is genius! My wife actually saw it and told me. We went and had a few flights. I love this place. For tonight, July 4^th, I got a few 32oz cans of beers they have on tap. Best thing ever. Prices are excellent and I can’t wait to go back!

I was surprised at how many options of kombucha they have on tap! This along with tons of beer and lots of cider makes them a great stop on the way home or before the weekend. The only downside is they could have a better location, it would allow the outdoor atmosphere to be terrific. Currently that would be hard with a freeway entrance 75 yards away. Also, the staff has been great. Talkative and friendly with lots of suggestions on new stuff to try and what the love.

I was impressed as soon as I walked in. Beer list right in front of you, who made it what it was and its description. They offered sugar water to clean your pallet and helped you guide your likes and dislikes on beer. I would go back in a second. Pork shanks were absolutely amazing.

What a great place! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, amazing selection and pricing, and fantastic service. I’ve been to a few of the growler stations about town, and this is by far my favorite!

Weekend is growler time. So much more convenient to buy one 64 oz jug than a six pack, plus no empties to return, fresher product and better for the environment (right, the environment). There are so many more places to fill up now than even a couple of years ago. Even the Fred Meyer on West 11^th has a station. It’s an embarrassment of riches.
This place was on my try list for a while, but I didn’t get around to doing it until recently. It’s quite new and clean inside, but not as big as it looks from the outside, with 48 taps to choose from, more than I’ve seen at any other growler place in town. You can also get cider and non-​alcoholic beverages, but not food. The location is very visible, on the corner of 7^th and Washington across from the I-​105 entrance ramp.
They weren’t as busy as I expected on an early Saturday evening. The staff had plenty of time to chat about selections, and they were willing to give free samples. I didn’t push my luck sampling, but I wanted to try everything. IPA is the most plentiful offering of course, but there is something for every taste, even a cream ale that reminded me of Genessee brand that I had back east in college. I ended up with a pale ale that I was quite happy with. I would definitely hang out here a lot, if I lived within walking distance.

Great place to grab a growler!

Wow, this is a great shop. I’ve been going to Growler Guys for about a year now and it just gets better and better. Not only do they have fair pricing and fun growlers to buy, the staff is always kind (and remembers me!) and they allow us to try whatever we want before we buy.
Besides that, penny pints are the way to GO. I don’t remember the exact times, but I think it’s a weekday thing — you buy your growler, let’s say the fill is $ 11.99, you could buy a pint with that extra penny! The thing I really love about penny pints (aside from the obvious) is that it gives you a chance to try something you’re on the fence about and if you don’t like it, you don’t feel bad for not drinking it, it was a penny. To be fair, though, I’ve never left it on the table, their drinks are so good!

I love this place. The staff is always kind, and when they are busy you still feel noticed which isn’t an easy thing to accomplish. Always an excellent selection to try from and a flight of drinks is super cheap. Their specials are a good deal and I like the point system they use. I racked up enough points just buying pints on the ½ off pints special days to get myself a free growler. Which I love using. :)
Ooh, but those chairs they have inside really suck. Get new chairs guys.

Beer on tap covered Portland, California, and Denver regions. More of a chill spot, drink some nice beer, actually have a conversation, and take a growler home!
You can also do flights of 4 of anything on tap.

A new trending business in Eugene is growler stations. These things are popping up all over the place. However this review is all about The Growler Guys. We came in here Saturday before the Ducks game. With the game starting at 12:30, us living out west, and having to prep food, we didn’t have time to wait until 11−12pm to wait to fill our growlers. I gave TGG a call and they told me they open their doors at 10am. WOO HOO! Crisis averted!
I didn’t catch the owners name, but he was the one who helped us out. He’s a hell of a nice guy, and after expressing our thanks for allowing our child to come inside with us, he explained how relieved he is that he made the decision to get a permit which allows kids on premise. When a place says, «sorry you have to leave your kid in the car» I say, «Screw you! There’s 8+ other locations where I can take my kids inside with me.»
TGG has a huge selection of taps. The place has a nice modern feel, I like the bright digitized board which shows what brews are available. I have to say this place had the widest selection of IPA’s I’ve seen. They had many I’m a big fan of, and a few others I’ve never heard of.
A growler of RPM is $ 9.99! Quite the deal on 64oz of heavenly nectar.
My wife didn’t see anything she wanted on tap, and the owner suckered her with 3 samples, a cider, sangria and a blackberry/​elderberry cider. She didn’t care for the Sangria, however the black/​elderberry was spot on and she really did like it. I believe that ran $ 11.99 a growler.
TGG is happy to provide samples as well. I really do enjoy that fact. As much as I love The Beir Stein, they make you feel like a mooch when simply trying to sample what you want to invest in. However, TGG realizes a few ounces here and there will only help secure business. Well done!

Many new Growler places have opened in the last two months, at least five around Eugene, but The Growler Guys get my vote for top Growler Place. Fantastic location visible to huge amounts of traffic, nice seating area with large windows to let in lots of sun light, plenty of parking (though Saturdays can get a little busy), and the best selection in town.
The Growler Guys not only have the largest number of taps of any of the Growler bars, but they also have the best connections with various brewers, which means they have amazing limited edition beers that nobody else in town has. My favorite, for however long it lasts, is the limited Woodchuck winter cider, which will warm you up with just a few sips (though you’ll probably want to drink the whole growler).
They have multiple locations (including in Bend) and are rapidly spreading their tap emporium to other cities, and no wonder, with their friendly service, great location here in Eugene, and unique selection that you won’t find elsewhere in town.
