Meet the Business Owner
Clayton W.
Business Owner
I am a self taught mechanic. I have picked up a lot of the skills that I use in my business through my volunteering position with Lane Community Colleges BikeLane Program. Its is a bicycle rental program that is available to students and each term the bicycles need tuned up. For the 2011 – 13 school year i was the one giving the programs 30+ bikes a much needed tune up and detailed cleaning. Replacing any and all parts needed to make the bikes run tip top. I grew up riding and fixing bicycles in and around Oakridge Oregon, aka «Mountain Biking Capital of the Northwest» as a kid and have always been interested in all things biking. Another opportunity that shaped my business is the Cooperative Education Internship through LCC that I completed with Velocity Velos of of the only Velomobile kit makers in the country and the only one on the west coast which is based out of cottage grove. With Velocity I built fully enclosed fairing trikes, and was able to build my technical repair skills.
