Boredom-​Free Zone where kids ages 10 – 14 use cutting edge technology to enrich their lives in a holistic environment. Fidgets2Widgets achieves balance by teaching 21^st Century Skills, Exer-​gaming, Outdoor activities and Digital Learning Modules. Fidgets2Widgets operates year-​round, offering programs after school during the school year as well as summer intensives. Fidgets2Widgets is a Minecraft Edu site with a private server, custom maps, structured and supervised screen time.

History

Established in 2012.

Fidgets2Widgets was created and founded by two mompreneurs with a commitment and passion to transform children’s lives. Understanding the value of technology, they wanted to help inspire children as creators rather than just as passive software users. Pam’s background in social work and Sydney’s background in holistic health has give them the skills they need to focus on healthy balance emotionally, socially and intellectually.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Pam Simon, L.M.S.W. has a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Iowa and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, acquired in 1991 from Gallaudet University. She is fluent in American Sign Language, and has specialized in communication disorders with both children and adults. Having worked with autism and sensory integration issues, Pam helped develop the theory of F2W to aid in her continuing work with children. She has 18 years of direct service and management experience in corporate healthcare settings.
