Description

Specialties

Our philosophy is a proposition — not one of revolution, but one of return. A return to the roots of America, a time when craftsmanship and quality were valued above machinery and quantity. For us, quality means knowing a product’s story and the artisan who crafted it. It means understanding a product’s origin and evolution. Knowing what makes a product unique helps us convey the story of its journey from conception into the hands of our customers.

History

Established in 2014.

The Refinery has an abundance of niche items that continue to fly off of the shelf including homemade gin kits, sunglasses with wooden frames, beard oils, bourbon-flavored toothpicks, artisan pocket squares and leather briefcases, duffle bags and belts. According to General Manager Scott Denett, approximately 40 percent of the store’s visitors are women looking for quality gifts for their male counterparts and friends.

«We help a lot of people who are buying gifts for the men in their lives, but we also see a lot of guys come through here to buy products for themselves,» Denett said. «We are the definitive brand where men can get luxury gifts. We’ve also made it our mission to build relations with our customers, too. Customers love our stores. One of the pleasures I get from working here is the consistent influx of feedback people give us telling us that they love it here. Most people haven’t been exposed to a niche place like this.»
