Very helpful sales associates. The girl measured his foot and a guy laced em up. We were in and out of there with 2 pairs of shoes. I recommend this store

Im here to let everyone know about their customer service. As I walked in I was welcomed with a hello. Half ways through the store. I recieved a 2nd hello. I smiled be cause I could feel the welcoming from the staff. When I reached my destination which was the back shoe display I recieved a 3rd hello. From Cynthia who help me through the process of my purchase. As Cynthia went to the back to get my size. Someone popped out from the back and I recieved a 4th hello with the question if I need assistance. Then the 5th hello came from another employee that complemented my old checkered green Vans. This is a place full of smile with employees that love to work here. I enjoyed todays purchase. It made my day! And by the way. I was just looking and ended up buying!

Honestly the worst service ever. All the employees were helping these few people. I didn’t even get to try on a pair of shoes.

Yesterday I went into Vans to buy my boyfriend a new jacket. We found one we liked on the sale rack for $ 49.99, but they did not have his size. A nice guy told us he could order the correct size to be sent to my house by Wednesday. We let him know we’d look around and come back if we didn’t find anything else. When we returned to get the jacket he was on break someone else recommended us to the girl on register to help. I asked her to order it in the correct size, XL. She found it online and told me she could get it sent to me. She began to take down all my information including my card information. After a while I began to worry about what she was doing so I asked first if she was charging me for shipping, and then how much the total was going to be. She informed me that she’d already made the order, swiped my card, and that the total was $ 85.86. She’d made the order and charged my card without telling me, obviously I was upset because I thought I was getting the in store price and hadn’t been notified before before she’d charged me an additional $ 36. Being that my boyfriend and I have both worked in retail, we were disturbed to find I’d been charged without any knowledge of price. In NO scenario is charging a customer without informing them of the price okay, and especially not when there is an obvious sales tag that reads $ 49.99. To be honest, I’m not even sure if this is legal. She then tried to blame her mistake on me saying that I told her someone had walked me through the process, not the case. To top off this easily avoidable fiasco, she told me there was nothing anyone could do. After telling me that the order that I involuntarily placed was not cancelable, she called some hotline that she was unable to reach because its hours were 9 a.m.-5 p. m… It was 4:50 p.m. Victoria’s fix for all of this goes as follows: — Wait 4 – 5 days for jacket — Use more of my time and gas to drive all the way back to the store — Return jacket — Buy jacket back for 50% off. Being a full-time student in 5 classes and working full time, you can say I was less than satisfied with an option where I’m making all the effort to fix her mistake. It’s safe to say my Vans experience was disappointing to say the least. Next time you’re at the North County Mall looking for Vans, save yourself the trouble and try online, or maybe another company completely. It is hard for me to understand how the store item price and the online item price had a difference of +$ 36 and she felt comfortable with charging my card without letting me know.

Went here today and customer service is AMAZING! A guy with a braid In his hair helped me and was very polite. I tried on 3 different pairs of shoes before I found the right ones, he was very patient and helped me with everything I needed. The lady at the register was nice and let us take our time. Very clean in the store. Overall super good and well priced

This place dominates. I buy all my shoes here. Staff is really nice, and they know how to find what your looking for. They also sell shirts and apparell at a reasonable price. Gift cards available too. Good for any season to shop at. Locations everywhere.
